We tried this Mexican restaurant in Sparks and had a decent experience overall. The place is big, spacious, and clean, and the staff were pleasant. We ordered menudo which was good but a little underwhelming and could have used more flavor. The fajitas were better! flavorful with good portions though the rice and beans were a bit dry. As for the michelada it was decent and did the job but nothing special.Overall it wasn't the best but it definitely wasn't the worst either. I have been ordering menudo here for a while and it's always been great. However today there was barely any meat on it.

Unfortunate circumstances in which this review is being written. After being charged $75 for a burrito and 9 taquitos (lol) I found all of the $5 taquitos to be incorrect. I've tried the quesadilla for a mid experience before and been charged $30 for a single burrito. I don't quite understand how this place has so many mistakes each time I visit but it certainly isn't worthy of my business. read more

Vanessa is the single most incompetent employee I've ever come across at this establishment. She chose to close the business 1 hour early without her owners approval. After requesting multiple times to order to go and her telling us that they were closing an hour early, she asked me to leave. I told her I would be filing a complaint with management. She said "please go ahead, I'm done" and she didn't care. She also pulled employees from the back to talk bad about me in front of my face and was completely irate. This company has cameras throughout their establishment which I hope they pull. Her bus girl seemed extremely uncomfortable with her as well as the chef. Cute place with authentic feel, down to the solid wood hand carved & painted chairs and liquor cabinet. Excellent service, happy to explain menu items, and food came out incredibly fast. Expansive menu with sooo many great items to choose from. I settled on the shrimp enchiladas plus a lengua taco. Partner got beef enchiladas and crunchy taco. Everything was delicious and perfect! Loved the melt-in-your-mouth lengua, on tasty corn tortillas topped with fresh cilantro and onions, radish slices & lime garnish. The salsa verde was excellent, flavorful but not too spicy. Enchiladas were very happy! Nice creamy beans with crumbled queso, rice had perfect texture and seasoning. Partner said of his "I liked that. It was good." Lol! High praise from him. With the Stead location closed for repairs, we tried this location. Same menu so we were pretty happy. We ended up ordering two orders of the trio fajitas for three of us. Just like the Stead location, the grilled veggies are the standout. Something about the seasoning makes the fajitas really shine. Service here was great. read more

This place is so great for Mexican food and the overall service. We were blown away by the flavors that tasted like home and the overall atmosphere. This place is a breath of fresh air with the wonderful service we received from everyone. We brought a couple of people from our baseball team and boy did we enjoy the drinks, food, and laughter. Came after work. Decided on carne asada and wife had enchiladas cremosas. My carne asada came out pretty good. A few things... chips were very stale, rice was VERY dry and I mean DRY, and our horchatas didn't taste that great. Service was mediocre, checked on us once. Nothing really stood out. Place was cleaner than usual, I think they got new tables and chairs. Other than that... food isn't bad, just a couple tweaks and I would be more than happy to up the rating. Hopefully there will be some improvements if we stop by again. read more

The restaurant is a corner unit in a strip mall. There is table service but you pay at the register when you're finished. The décor is festive. I love the chairs! They served chips and two salsas. Neither was too spicy, just enough of a kick, but both had great flavor. I ordered the small guacamole. So good. I ordered the Chile Relleno plate with rice and beans. I can't rave enough about the salsa on the relleno. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The rice was amazing. The tacos were also superb. They have a full bar. Prices are very reasonable. Food is delicious! I came to know Fiesta Mexicana because of its Stead location, it was close to where I used to live, so naturally, I tried it when I wanted Mexican food. At any rate, when I learned of this location, I thought, another Fiesta location, yay! Another option for good Mexican food and this location does not disappoint in that regard. Service - my only issue with this location is their telephone customer service is not on par with the Stead location. Calling in an order is unreasonably difficult. I have called in a number of times and have had it go to voicemail, or the call was answered but there was a lot of interference, or the call was answered, I was placed on hold then got hung up on. It's gotten to the point where I do not even attempt to call to place an order, and instead opting to either come in to order or just calling the Stead location. Ambiance - festive! I have dined in on a couple of occasions and things went smoothly, no complaints. Recommend? Yes, BUT, don't mess with calling in an order, it's not worth the frustration. Return? Where do i even begin, came in to enjoy dinner with my kids. Got sat with our server CAROLINA. Such negative vibes from the beginning...that girl did not wanna be there. Took our order, brought the food out, and i never saw her again. I asked for a refill for my michelada as she walked by and she said to give her a few seconds. She proceeds to chat with someone else in the restaurant, and then gets started on my drink. She dropped it off and that was it No napkins, no refills, no to go boxes, no customer service. The young gentleman at the register was so helpful and nice. I had to ask him for my check and everything else our table would need. I can get better service at in n out at this point. We've been coming here for over year. The food is consistently good. I enjoy the Chicken Suizo burrito along with the soups. My wife and came here about 12:30pm on a Friday for lunch. She loves Mexican food and we have been to the location in Stead on several occasions. We have always enjoyed it. It was not too busy and we were told to have a seat where we liked. We chose a booth along the wall. The booth on my side of the table felt like the cushion was gone in the middle and my chin was on the table. I just moved a bit toward the wall, but my wife commented to me not to lean against the wall. I looked and it appeared to not have been cleaned in a while. There were all sorts of different colors and specks on it. I wish I took a picture but I did not. The remainder of the restaurant looked clean but the booths along the side of the restaurant should be ripped out and replaced. The server brought us menus and took our drink orders. We were familiar with the menu since we have been to their other location. I chose the enchiladas lunch special and my wife likes their chimichangas so she ordered that. Our food arrived in a timely manner and looked yummy and the server was attentive. We enjoyed our meals and appreciated the fast service since we had to get back to work. Overall a good experience but next time we will definitely not sit in the booth. read more
