I stopped here on the way home as I needed some Chicharron and I passed this place all the time. Sunday afternoon, and the parking lot was full as well as the café portion. All of the tables were full. I walked in looking for the meat counter, and it seems that this place is more oriented towards serving food than an actual Carniceria. One of the workers saw me looking around and asked if he could help me. I asked if he had teacher her own by the pound, and all they had were the crispy pork rinds. He said they do not sell the pork belly meat. I will definitely come back and try the food here as there has to be a reason every table was full . The food the people were eating looked good and wholesome. Nice to be greeted and offered help by a worker . So yes, I will try the food here next time. read more

Really good carnitas, the "maciza" (firm cuts) were tender and flavorful. The other cuts, like pancita (pork belly) and chicharron, were also good. The burritos were good. The whole spot has that authentic Mexican vibe, like a "fondita" in a small town, and the food backs it up. Plus, everyone working there is genuinely friendly. Rating the carnitas only. I was told by a friend they were the best in town. I was finally in the area so I had to try them. They are $12.99 a pound so I hoped they were as good as she said. I think I'd give them. 9/10 if they were just a tad crispier I'd give them a 10 but the flavor is really great. Small little place and has some store items. I did buy some mini corn tortillas fir $3.99 as well. If you are in the area, I'd definitely say give them a try. read more

I loooove the food there especially the birria. This food stop is the real Mexican food. Simple and delicious. You get to choose between goat birria or beef which is cool bcuz not all Mexican restaurants make goat birria. The amount of food is enough to make you very full and make take left over. Good prices too. For example the one dish of birria u see in the image was for $16. In this restaurant, they also have a corner to buy some Mexican stuff like chips and drinks. I totally recommend you give it a try especially to try goat birria. They also have very delicious tacos. Big parking spots so u never have to worry about that. read more

El menudo estaba suavecito pero insípido, sin sabor a nada. No tenía ni sal, ni ajo y ni poniéndole la cebolla, cilantro y limón se compuso. Los molletes no eran molletes. No fueron hechos en horno, no estaban doraditos, no tenían queso derretido y el pico de gallo era solo jitomate y cebolla picada, sin sabor y sin marinar. De verdad que no tienen idea de lo que es un mollete. Parecía una torta aguada de frijoles. No se podía ni agarrar de qué se deshacía de aguada. La torta de asada parecía, más bien, torta de lechuga. La carne tenía mucho nervio y no estaba sazonada. No sirven café. El servicio fue muy rápido pero el sabor rico estuvo AUSENTE totalmente. El ambiente está muy revuelto. Es difícil sentarse, todo muy pegado y confuso. Este lugar solo se salva por las carnitas estilo Michoacán. Aun así, te las dan todas súper picadas y revueltas, como si fueran sobras. Ojalá mejoren. Pagamos $59 por todo, más propina porque la mesera no tiene la culpa. Esta es la 2da vez que venimos aquí pero no habrá más. Great find close to my house... A small hole in the wall across the street for the Bonanza casino. And when you talk authentic Mexican food this is it. When I first walked in I was a bit confused as to if this was just a market or a restaurant. I saw what looked like a menu hanging in the back of the place but it didn't have any prices. So I asked for what I wanted and the nice lady with heavy accent said "yes they can make that order" Took less then 5mins to pull it together. Two chicken tacos, rice and beans.. 5.50!! Yup :) so far so good. I had them make it to go. All and all less then 5min mins in the place and I was done and getting back in my car to take my food home to taste. I will be going back to try out more of their menu and see if they have HOTTER salsa. ( I like it when I have tears coming out of my eyes. That HOT ) Pros: Great price for the amount of food. I love this place. It is authentic so if your thinking Mexico that's the feel. The first time I went here was with office staff. We ordered 3 tacos each and they were so good we got 3 more! Since then been back for the burrito and torta and all were just as flavorful. The salsas are spicy! Not like that mild stuff you get in Americanized places. It gets packed at noon, so think ahead. read more
