This is the best place ever! Every time I come to Maui and Wailea I stop here to buy at least one thing. This time I got myself the mochi cake and brownie for the trip back home. read more

Ube mochi bread was delicious! The other loaves were tasty, but it is a pricier place for pastries. Pleasant experience, and if we were back in town we would head back for the Ube bread. read more

This was such a "sweet" find for us when we were in Maui recently. The Hawaiian muffin is delicious with just the right amount of pineapple, coconut, and macadamia nuts. Lovely texture, and a nice sweet flavor. The savory bakes were some of the best I've ever tasted. The tino roll was so simple, yet again, the texture, and flavor were spot on. Our absolute favorite was the Isabel bread. It has minimal gluten in it (I'm mainly GF). They use spelt flour, which provides a nice bind for the bread, but the texture still has a lightness to it. And the seeds landed inside the bread beautifully, providing a light seedy flavor in every bite (not just the crust). We spread some of their homemade Lilikoi butter and guava jam on top, and we were in Heaven. We even went back the next day to get our bread and jam for the beach. They also have a tasty cold coffee with nutmeg in it, which was the perfect complement to the savory goods. There was so much more to try, including some authentic German recipes, but we ran out of time. We will definitely return there on our next trip to Maui. It has become a new staple to our Maui dining experience. Right up there with shaved ice from Ululani's. And the young woman who works there is very sweet and personable, which adds to the positive vibe of the place. read more

This is my favorite bread/breakfast spot. 5+ types of just veggie flavors = unheard of! Sweet onion, jalapeño, blue cheese with pumpkin seeds, garlic and pesto, artichoke! Meat choices were top notch. Chicken curry, all types of varieties with bacon, cheese, kulua pork, ham, turkey! So much creativity! Free samples! Awesome POG juice. Advice: get a sampler of your favorites, grab a refreshing drink and sit on the beach across the beach. You are living the island life now! read more

Nothing special. On the pricey side. Had the banana custard filled bread and it was good...nothing special. What's the deal with the expensive Manapuas? They're just baked or steamed Chinese buns and cost anywhere from a dollar or two in San Francisco. This place had pretty good coffee though and happy customer service. read more

I was there early morning, twice during our vacation. The sourdough and Challah bread were fresh and delicious, some of the best bread I have ever had. The pineapple muffing was also delicious but my favorite was the fresh bread. I will definitely go back when visiting. read more

We were in Maui the 1st week in December 2016. This place is lovely. I only bought a few things...but...went back to the store 3 times in a week for the Li Hing Mai & Mango cookies. They are crack-tastic!!! I highly recommend the savory options too. They have a small, VERY fresh inventory. The one and only negative, they don't ship because they can't guarantee the quality...things get broken up in shipping. I hated Maui...but I'll be taking a puddle jumper from Kapaa Spring break just for the cookies!!!!! If anyone is going, hit me up. I'll pay you, the price and the shipping if you'll mail em' to me. Holly....please, please please reconsider shipping...those cookies taste just as good broken up read more

Great little bakery. Bought breakfast sandwich and coffee to take to beach, then back for incredible macadamia muffin and granola to take home. read more

Great service. The morning breads and breakfast sandwiches are yummy! I would say buy the mango jelly!! It's amazing!!!

Fabulous bakery!! The Hawaiian bread/muffins are perfectly named- it's how Hawaii would taste! We went twice during our visit and made a stop on the way to the airport to take goodies home! read more

Since I am not a local, it took me a little while to find it but it was well worth the hunt! It is in Dolphin Plaza by the Pizza Hut and Boss Frog's. They have so many wonderful bread items including gluten free loaf bread cheaper than I have seen on the mainland. I purchased breakfast items and all of them were fresh and tasted wonderful! I will be back before I leave the island this week. They don't advertise since it increases the cost of their incentory and I am happy to post this review for them! Good luck to you!!! read more

Wow, this place has amazing baked goods. All their loaf breads are so moist & even hold up to being in my freezer for almost a year! I just found a pineapple coconut loaf that I forgot I stuck in the freezer from last April (I had to go out of town & didn't want it to go to waste)...I wasn't sure how it would be but I defrosted it in the fridge overnight & today cut a slice & heat it in the microwave for 15 seconds & it was still so good & moist! I could not believe it! read more

Amazing bread selection. We purchased the POG bread to take to California and held up pretty well. We also purchased the lilikoi syrup to make drinks at home and it's yumm. Good place to take home goodies or snacks for flight. read more

The place we get our gluten free banana bread and white rolls! Delicious butters too!

Awesome little place with good prices! We came here a few times a week during our stay to get the various meat rolls. The POG bread and fresh juices were also amazing, I really enjoyed the coconut milk coffee! read more

This is a very welcoming place. The clerk was friendly as we walked around eyeing all of their delicious breads in amazement. They also had big ol cookies too! Luckily we are in walking distance and for sure we will return. read more

Delicious. Great choices. Great service. Great start to the day. +1 for the mauiyaki roll and coconut coffee read more

Great bakery , German and Hawaiian specialties with their own take on some classics. Their croissants were really good and I'm finicky about croissants. Again, it's the baker's personal twist, not classic Parisian croissant, but I thought it was excellent! The pretzel-croissant alone deserves a prize for vision and creativity. Super salty on the outside, buttery soft on the inside, I'll be back for more. Hubby loved their chocolate croissants, brownies and cinnamon rolls. He's more of a sweet tooth. read more

Great fresh bread. I love the sausage rolls and pineapple bread. The pretzel rolls and bread are so good

Found this place in one of the guide books. It's really ono. We didn't find it until our last day in Kihei, so my advise is look for it early in your trip. While the selection of bread was outstanding, the "sandwiches" were what we grabbed. I had a Portuguese sausage roll and my better half had the ham and cheese roll. Both were outstanding. Kihei restaurants lean towards the crazy busy, but this place was very laid back. My advise is grab a couple of pieces and walk to the beach. Aloha. read more

Great selection and great pricing. Very happy to find this bakery. You won't regret it. read more

Spent 3 weeks in Maui and loved being able to cross the street to this store for a breakfast item or sweet treat. They don't use any preservatives so only buy what you plan on eating that day. We tried numerous items during our stay with the ginger cookies, banana bread, and Hawaiian muffins standing out as the best. Small store with a well organized setup. They always had a sample of a baked item and juice on the counter which was an added bonus every time we came in. read more

They actually are under the same owner as maui fish n chips!!! Owner is friendly and bread is D E L I C I O U S!!! Guava & ube jams too. Honestly could slather it onto plain disgusting Wonder Bread and still devour it because of the jam. HAHAHA... Even the brownie sample at the front was just surprisingly good. Not your typical bakery where everything tastes kind of the same as anywhere else. It definitely isn't the kind of bread that will make you feel guilty or extra fat after LOL there are a ton of gluten free items and i think also some vegan items!!! A must-go :) read more

Awesome to see them back in business. All the food is still very good. It has a bit of a more modern feel which is positive for sure.

Walking down the beach checking out all the little shops it's hard to miss Maui Bread with it's delicious aroma entering your nostrils, as we enter we we're greated by a nice Baker who genuinely loved all the product she made, delightfully announcing the last Teriyaki roll left. I of coarse bought this roll which tasten amazing, it had a hawain bun with teriakyi beef in the center very good very delicious not to mention we purchased coconut bread that is moist and perfect tasting. This bakery is an amazing place to just stop buy for a quick breakfast not to mention if you go to Maui fish in chips they are the supplier of they're iced coffee made from.coconut milk that also is very satisfying. All in all don't miss this place even if your gluten free they have tons of options for you! read more

Gluten free bread and pastries, oh yes!!!! Seriously get over there and get them!!! You won't be able to tell a difference and your body will thank you for the delicious gf dessert!! My hubby's favorite is the peanut butter mochi!! Mine is the blondie! read more

Very fresh (every morning the products are made; I witnessed one of the employees carrying the tray in!) and tasty baked goods. I tried too many to list and devoured two breads (banana and pineapple) in one sitting. What I can say is: Unbelievable texture to those breads. They are soft and moist with a little shell (my favorite) and they have a massive section for gluten free folk, which was awesome because my girlfriend could join me in the Hawaiian bulk session. Awesome and friendly staff as well! read more

YUMMMM!!! It was so hard not to walk out of this store without buying everything! It all looked so good! We ended up getting bread pudding (never had it before but will definitely be getting it again!), some sort of cheesy pesto bread (DELICIOUS!), and a gluten free magic bar (highly recommend!) They have tons of breads, cookies, and other baked goods. Pro: they also have a good selection of gluten free items! All around delicious read more

This little bread shop near the beach is worth checking out for a plethora of reasons, but the best tip I can give you is stop here before the trek to Haleakala (if you don't know about the sunrise, you have some research to do still!), as the options here travel well, are delicious and can be picked up the afternoon before the trip. The staff here is friendly, and through banter I learned the chef is not only trained in a classical French style, but has infused some eastern styles into the baking. The 5 star performance of the food shows in the fact that this would have been obvious without a single word being exchanged. If you've ever enjoyed European breads that are typically hard to match in quality in the US, you'll appreciate this bakery on an unparalleled level. If you've never had the chance to experience true European style bread, I would recommend this heartily, just keep in mind it is a fusion flavor. The breads here are phenomenal, the business seems to be new and growing, and they offer free samples for those who are not yet convinced. I recommend trying a sample or two, ordering a few bakery items and trying one of the fresh drink concoctions, after which you'll have a hard time stomaching bread form anywhere else... read more

Had tasty jalapeño breads! Looked like bagels, but I don't think they were. Would have gotten 5 stars if they had toasters & cream cheese. Or, maybe they do, but they're not advertised well enough! I'd get one of these all the time! read more

Freshly baked cinnamon rolls and local fruit breads (banana, coconut, Hawaiian) with coffee and fresh juice. Yum!
