Keep an eye out for sale items, they alternate frequently so you may come in one day and find SKYY vodka marked in half, and then Titos organic vodka next time marked in half. The store is very pricey on everything outside of food / drink, however, they always have specific items at great prices. since I live right by here i may pop in to cruise the aisles for sales. They may have Tide marked down one day, Windex one day, Softsoap one day, vitamin supplements one day.......and so on. All Christmas items are 75% off on the 26th. Last but not least, the pharmacy. No problems, I can order refills online and walk over a few minutes later and they are ready. Staff is friendly and helpful if needed. Cool blood pressure machine there. I like to test my skills at that when I come through. We're also getting some kind of organic produce store next to Rite Aid opening soon. Looking forward to that. Great Mexican Food restaurant and a new park right across the street. This area is up and coming and will all be 7 figure housing soon.

I just went to pick up some medication for my husband and some Covid tests. Then she asked me again if I'd paid for the two Covid tests I was holding. I said yes. The prescription was in a paper Rite Aid bag, but the tests weren't (not my choice, just how I was given the items after I paid for them). I've never stolen anything in my life and really don't appreciate being asked twice if I paid for items. Maybe I should face showed her the receipt to prove it but I shouldn't have to. This has never happened to me before - rude.

I went in, mostly just for contact solution, but as I always end up doing when I'm in the CVS, I definitely roamed the aisles and ended up with way more than I bargained for! For one thing, and this is mostly across all CVS locations, I love the store. Some of their things can be expensive, but I live walking to a different location, and I find that when you're a consistent shopper, there are always an abundance of coupons and opportunities to save some dollars. And the convenience is worth it to me. For example, tonight my total was about $64 or so. By the time I had added all of my coupons and signed up for their monthly program, I paid less than $40. Sami helped me out and he was so lovely and kind! He helped me reactivate my ExtraCare membership. I ran in quickly initially without my card since they take Apple Pay, but I needed the physical card to activate my membership. It was truly no issue to run out for my card but he profusely apologized for the inconvenience. Sami was just so friendly and kept up the good natured conversation during our whole interaction whilst still maintaining good efficiency. Overall I left in the least amount of time but feeling completely taken care of. I feel like this is kind of across all locations, but specifically this store did not feel super well stocked. I don't really think that's their fault though. That kind of seems to be the model across most locations. But I will say this specific CVS had a lot more buttons around the store to call the staff since a lot of items are locked up now. My usual CVS definitely doesn't have as many as it needs and it can feel frustrating trying to get help. I needed something today and found an accessible button, and a staff member came very quickly to assist me. Overall, a 10 out of 10, and next time I'm in the area I would definitely stop back here again!

I get it, customer service isn't where you wanna be in life, but if you do such a simple job in such a poor fashion, who would be dumb enough to entrust you with something more complex or involved? Many of these functioned as mini-department stores, having a wide selection of goods to meet the needs of the community: cookware, clothing, and gifts, just to name a few categories. Webster's Pharmacy seems to be one of these almost extinct businesses that has miraculously survived in Altadena since 1926. I was on my way to Bulgarinia Gelato when I noticed the cool retro signage of Webster's and decided to pop in to check it out. There's a large, free parking lot in the back, as well as street parking in the front. I was pleasantly suprised to find not only a fully stocked pharmacy but an absolutely adorable gift shop featuring BOOKS and other gifts. This includes a section devoted to ANTHONY BOURDAIN (a hero to many Yelpers, despite his utter disdain for Elite Yelpers, may he RIP). There are holiday candies, slippers, Christmas tree ornaments and pretty much something for everyone (there was even a section for folks that like to use "colorful metaphors", as Spock would say.) I'm not sure if the gifts are stocked year round but if you need something last minute for the holidays, Webster's can certainly help. Most items are full price but occasional discounts apply. She forced me to repeat myself multiple times and essentially made me yell out the specific medication I needed in a public space, which felt like a massive violation of my privacy. Even after I went and sat down to speak directly with the original pharmacist to sort out the issue, Gaby continued trying to shout things or talk over to me across the room. The pharmacist's excellent customer service AFTER HER was completely overshadowed by Gaby's unprofessionalism and total lack of discretion. I hope management addresses her behavior. It has now been over 90 minutes with poor communication and very little urgency from the staff. Customer service was frustrating, and no one seemed to care that people waiting for medications may actually be sick and uncomfortable. If you are really ill, this pharmacy will make the experience even worse. Honestly, I would recommend going to Walgreens or using Amazon Pharmacy instead if you want reliable service and less stress.

It was extremely difficult to schedule an appointment with my own provider so I decided to pay out of pocket to get it done at a local CVS. Scheduling an appointment through the CVS app was super easy and the check in process was seamless. I received notifications on my phone with reminders to check and I was called into the doctor's office within a 5 minutes wait (walk ins are welcomed, btw!) The doctor was friendly and very thorough with the process. The test was quick and I was able to schedule a follow up visit to check the results the following Monday, and I received an email notification right away confirming my appointment. It was $35 for the appointment and it will be another $50 for the follow up. Definitely had a wonderful experience!
