Came here looking for at home Covid tests which they had in stock when they were hard to find anywhere. Disappointed since they are up-charging tests that are sold for $20 directly online from the manufacturer for $30 in store. Not only that, the receipt they gave me shows no description of the product so there is no way to get reimbursed by FSA/HSA/insurance for the tests. read more

As a general rule I try to support small businesses vs. CVS or Target for example. I find them to have better customer service and a friendlier vibe. This is my go-to pharmacy. My daughter needed medication recently and by the time we left the pediatricians office, the prescriptions were already sent to Glenvista and were basically ready by the time we got there. The best pharmacy in Glendale hands down. I have been taking medication most of my life and sometimes the medications I need were either not covered by insurance companies or required high deductibles. However, having Arsineh and Glendvista on my side, I have never missed a dose. This pharmacy not only cares for my well being but will do whatever it takes to make sure I got my medication on time and at the lowest possible price. This past month, my insurance company changed and the medication I've been taking was not covered. Arsineh spent over hours and hours on the phone with me trying to figure out what we can do to get my medication before my next dosage. After countless hours spent speaking to nurses, doctors, sales reps, we were denied authorization and I had no choice but to go home without my meds. I started to panic because a bottle of my meds costs over $1500 dollars! As I was ready to hit the panic button, Arsineh calls me and tells me that she continued to speak with the insurance companies and that my medication will be ready for pickup in the morning. I came to this pharmacy in such a rush to get a last minute and extremely crucial prescription for a face condition that was flaring up and I could not have been any happier. First off, I came as soon as I could, which also was the exact time that the pharmacy was closing. I need to be really clear, the pharmacy was actually closed and I caught Arsineh as she was walking away, and she not ONLY opened up for me, took time to explain every single option possible so that I knew every single option. I was ignored by the salesperson at the register so that one of the employees in the back had to come up front To ring me up. He called over the woman who inItially ignored me to ring up my purchase. She asked if I would pay cash or card and I told her card. She then got on the phone and spoke to another person on the line while trying to figure out how to take my Visa card. I stood there for 5 minutes completely ignored, no reassurance from the woman while she spoke to another person on the phone. l After I sat down still waiting for a few minutes I decided to leave. I'm not sure if it was incompetence, the way I looked or their business not being legitimate. Very disappointed when I like to patronize small businesses on principle. When I looked for this business on google maps I had trouble remembering the name. I called the baklava factory restaurant next door. They said that: the pharmacy was no longer in business (day after I visited), they had moved and repeatedly said they didn't know what the name of their neighbor business was. Not only do I feel better supporting smaller businesses, especially during a time like this, but there's also something satisfying about going somewhere where they remember you and ask about your family. Dr. Mehrabian is extremely kind and knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain everything you need to know about your medication and will even personally call or text me to let me know when my order is ready for pick up. The store is always immaculately clean and there's rarely a line, so you're in and out relatively quickly every time. Wow! Just wow! This pharmacy is unlike any other pharmacy experience I have had. The pharmacist is also the owner so she is invested in you having a great experience. Most of the time I dread going to CVS pharmacy or RITE AID. It always seems like people are unhappy to work there, there often lines and can even be unhelpful. This place is a gem! Brand new pharmacy, super bright and airy, just right next to Zankou Chicken. It's so nice to find a human-run vs a big corporate-run pharmacy in the neighborhood. The pharmacist/owner is very charismatic and personable. She carries a great selection of quality products and she actually took the time to say something nice to me which showed her personality even more. I grabbed lunch at Zankou while she prepared my prescription. Over all wonderful and very fast service, I will return for sure although this is not my neighborhood but I go to Zankou regularly and Glenvista offers free delivery so returning shouldn't be a problem. read more
