Came in to grab a delicious latte. I love the different varieties of matching they have. The store has absolutely beautiful decor. All the staff here are super friendly. I love how they have oat milk. I ordered the strawberry match and it was amazing. Would highly recommend.
This is such an adorable little matcha shop with a cute aesthetic! We stopped in because we were wanting a some caffeine but didn't want a heavy coffee and the coconut matcha latte sounded too good not to try. It was super yummy and definitely hit the spot! The inside is super cute with lots of fun details, pretty plants and decor, fun colors, and lots of photo worthy spots. Definitely the kind of place where you'll want to take a few pictures! Service was okay though, nothing super memorable. We weren't greeted when we walked in and at first we weren't really sure where we were supposed to order so maybe just a quick greeting or direction would have been helpful! One thing I really love is that they're a woman owned business and donate 5% of their sales to Ladies Who Launch which supports women and nonbinary entrepreneurs. Overall it's a super cute spot for matcha, photos, and a fun little outing. I'd definitely recommend checking it out :)
I really wanted to love Matcha Magic, but my first experience fell a bit short. All of their drinks sounded fantastic, and I ended up deciding on the black sesame matcha. The cafe was not busy at all, and service was quick, but a bit lackluster. The staff weren't super friendly, and it seemed like they didn't really want to be there. The matcha was definitely pretty, layered with black sesame sweet cream and swirl, but had so much ice in it that there wasn't a lot of actual matcha to drink. Overall, the flavor was really solid, it definitely made me want more drink, and less ice, for the nearly $9 I paid. The space is cute, and has ample seating, and fits in perfectly on Old Main Street in Bellevue. I definitely want to give this spot another try, and maybe try a concoction with a little less pizzaz to get the taste of their true matcha flavor.
Matcha Magic has a few locations in the Greater Seattle area; this one in particular that I visited was in Downtown Bellevue. There is street parking around the area and it's quite accessible via public transportation. From the outside, it doesn't seem very big. However, once you actually go inside, it is much larger. It was very spacious and very colorful inside. Lots of pink all around. The service was good. It was a friendly and simple interaction to get my order and drink out. I have been hesitant on trying the matcha from Matcha Magic because I have heard mixed reviews and opinions. Instead, I opted to order one of their popular smoothies, the Strawberry Glaze. The total for my smoothie came out to be $14.34. The smoothie consists of banana, strawberry, avocado, dates, collagen, tremella, and almond milk topped with coconut cream and swirled with house-made strawberry puree. It was good, but nothing I would personally order again.
Cute matcha place in old town Bellevue. We got a strawberry matcha and a blueberry matcha. The service is super friendly and the matcha flavors are fun and tasty- super fun to go on walk in the park with your tasty matcha.
Matcha Magic feels like the closest local version of an Erewhon-style smoothie outside of Joe & The Juice. I tried the Strawberry Glaze and understood the hype right away. It was rich, balanced, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. Compared to Erewhon smoothies, this one was more drinkable and less icy, which I preferred. Definitely mix it before drinking since the strawberry purée settles at the bottom and gets very sweet. The shop is cute and conveniently located in old downtown Bellevue near the park, making it an easy stop during a walk. They also let me briefly bring my dog inside while placing a takeout order, which I appreciated. For the price, it feels fair given the quality and ingredients. I'm already looking forward to trying the coconut smoothie next time.
A neat spot to get some matcha flavored drinks as well as other items. During my visit, I tried their featured drink - Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte - I thought the drink was still balanced and you do get the mango sticky rice taste to it as well. Overall, its worth checking out.
My partner and I joke that this place is why we moved to the eastside because wowwwww wowowowowwowow. I don't think I've ever loved a cafe this much since moving from my hometown nyc like 4 years ago the drinks are SO good (I've tried to recreate them at home and...to no avail). The matcha is perfect, great quality. The interior is ssoooooo cutie, so pink, so fun, feels like you're treating yourself I would be remiss not to mention how incredible the staff are too, like wowwwwww the friendliest baristas I've ever met even on the busiest days, they are soooo sweet, so friendly. Incredible team, we literally go every day off we have now can't say enough good about this spot
My first time visiting Matcha Magic, and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. As soon as I walked in, the two girls working there greeted me very coldly. It honestly felt like they didn't want me there. I ordered my matcha and waited, and when it was ready, they simply placed it on the counter without saying a word while continuing their conversation. I was the only customer there that early in the morning, yet they didn't even seem to notice when I left. The matcha was okay, but the customer service made me feel completely unwelcome. I hope they treat future customers with a little more warmth and attention. I've honestly never felt so unwelcome in a café.
The food here is amazing! I've tried the avocado toast with salmon on top and it totally hits the spot! I've also tried their maca energy balls and I like that they're not too overly sweet! We always come back for the smoothies that's I find better than Erewhon IMO! Service is great! They're very friendly and make suggestions too! The ambiance is on point and is tied with their all natural and clean aesthetic theme, it's also a cute place to meet with friends or an after workout lunch or light snack!
I DoorDashed matcha magic Bellevue and the matcha was incredibly mid. I ordered the toast flight which was good, but the marshmallow matcha just had an unpleasant taste. Barely any marshmallow flavor, matcha flavor was watered down.
Can't wait to go back to try other drinks! I ordered the banana cream matcha and it was so good! Online ordering makes things super easy, too.
This place is so cute and they have so many different types of drinks, from matcha to coffee to smoothies. The matcha horchata had the potential to be good but they added wayyyy too much matcha and my drink ended up tasting very gritty and only matcha. Would come back though to try other drinks and maybe retry some of the matcha. read more
Got the dreamsicle smoothie which was pretty good! The place was a little busy but service was quick. Place was super cute and clean. Honestly, the price isn't worth the food and the size of the smoothie was pretty small for how much they charge. Also got the matcha orchata, which was waay too matcha heavy. read more

Hi Alex! Thank you for coming in! First off, I would like to…
Stopped by Matcha Magic on a whim, and wow -- I'm so glad I did! I ordered the Matcha Magic Latte with matcha sweet foam, and it was absolutely delicious. The matcha flavor was rich, earthy, and perfectly balanced -- not too bitter, not too sweet -- just the way matcha should be. The sweet foam on top added the perfect creamy, slightly sweet finish that made each sip feel like a little treat. The vibe inside is cute and modern, with friendly staff who really seem to care about quality. You can tell they know their matcha here -- this isn't your average green tea latte. Highly recommend if you're a matcha fan or just looking for something a little different from your usual coffee routine. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks! read more

Came here on a sunny day to grab a quick matcha with my girlfriend. Found the location by its bright pink building color and large sign outside. Upon stepping in the vibe was nice and easy going. Not too loud even with a large crowd. The only thing I was slightly confused about is despite being marketed as a matcha place there were quite a few menu options which was worrying to me. We ordered our drinks from the waitress and sat down (pretty spacious which was one of the few redeeming factors). Service was mid tbh tho. Now onto the drinks. I got the matcha horchata and my gf got the normal matcha latte. Disappointment is the only word to describe what we felt. Taking a look at the color of the matcha I could see that dreary looking dull green which was worrying. My fear was confirmed upon taking a sip. The matcha flavor was weak and on top of that there was a slight sour bite. I'm picky when it comes to matcha so don't let me stop you from trying but personally i won't return. read more

I love matcha like any other connoisseur and I was happy to try Matcha Magic! Down to being a woman-led business, beautiful aesthetics, and delicious matcha, Matcha Magic is really magical! We got the Pineapple Express, Matcha Colada, and Strawberry Matcha. All of them were wonderfully made! The Matcha Colada really had great hints of your typical Pina Colada with strong coconut flavor. This is the first time I've had a matcha drink of this variety. I got the Pineapple Express for my sister and it was up her alley. It was much like a lemonade! My boyfriend got the Strawberry Matcha and he liked it so much that he ended up getting another matcha! He wanted to be pretty caffeinated. Service was quick and employees were knowledgeable about the menu. I'm thinking of trying their açaí bowls or "Erewhon" smoothies next time I stop by! read more

Very cute matcha and açaí bowl shop! I got the strawberry matcha oatmilk latte. Very strong matcha flavor and not too sweet which I appreciated. Will be back!! read more
Such a cute cafe located in the heart of downtown Bellevue! I heard about this place after seeing people compare their strawberry glaze smoothie as a dupe of the Erewhon Hailey Bieber smoothie. As someone who loves Erewhon smoothies, I had to give this a try. The verdict: although the flavor was not entirely the same, it was a really yummy drink on its own. It was extremely sweet, so I would have preferred it to be less so, but aside from that the taste was delicious. At $14 for a smoothie, it's definitely pricier than your average drink, so I'd probably come here as an occasional treat. The vibes are amazing -- the interior is very aesthetic and Instagram-worthy. read more

This place features a lot of different types of matcha lattes so you if you are a matcha lover, this is heaven for you. I decided to venture off the usual and get the matcha magic latte that has reishi, ashwagandha, and collagen, ingredients that reduces inflammation and anxiety on top of the usual benefits of matcha, just to see what it is. The drink itself is pretty decent and strong in matcha flavor, though the matcha itself was just okay and did not stand out for the price tag I am paying. The latte itself tastes like a mushroom coffee with oat milk, which balances itself out. Prices are a bit high as the prices do not include tax but it is a decent place to treat yourself. The other options are slightly less expensive, so I may come back to get my usual matcha order at a matcha place, to see if it is any better. read more

100% love this place and would definitely return on my next trip back to Bellevue. Tried two drinks: Toasted matchamallow latte - exactly what it sounds like! Strong matcha perfectly mixed with a toasted marshmallow flavor. I've never had a combo like this and thought it was so unique! I like how they automatically use all plant milk. Not sure if they have the option to use cow's milk though for those that prefer it. I sometimes will opt for cow's milk depending on mood for a creamier taste. Cloudy coconut smoothie - so tasty and creamy on a hot day! The coconut comes through subtle-y but just enough. Impressed that I couldn't really taste the banana since usually smoothies that contain banana ends up having such a forward and prominent banana flavor! I prefer banana in the background. Love the blue spirulina adding that beautiful blue color. Bonus: Drinks are very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and not too sweet. A bit of drink splurge but I thought it was worth the price. read more

I had the ocean eyes açaí bowl. The coconut and granola was so good because I like the crunchy texture. I loved how the sweet and sour gets mixed. It reminded me of lemonade which is my favorite drink. I love how the leaves on the wall are so beautiful. They look so realistic and feel like a professional artist painted. I also love how cozy the hammock makes the place. It reminds me of when I cuddle and sleep with my dog. Finally the spoons change color and reminds me of a sunset with the yellow and orange. I recommend the whole world visit this place. My mom loves it too ( yelp review shared by mom on behalf of my 2nd grader) read more
I love the strawberry matcha but this time I tried their ube one with no extra sugar. It was very tasty and gave me some warmth for a cold evening. I will try soon their horchata too! Too many good options for matcha! They even have the ceremonial one too :) I would just say that a small one is a bit pricey (total $8). But I guess is becoming the standard. Loved the ambience of the place with some neon signs super cute for a Pic. Staff was very friendly. read more
Had heard good things about this spot and decided to try it after we passed it. They have free validated parking right next door and grabbed the last spot. The spot is soo cute very colorful and well decorated. There were lots of people in and out. They were out of the drink I wanted (strawberry glaze) so I was pretty disappointed but the person who took our order said it'd be back tomorrow. She told me that she actually preferred the dreamsicle so I went with that instead and my friend got the toasted marshmallow latte. Overall I will def go back bc I want to try the strawberry glaze one. This spot is really good but I'm salty bc no strawberry glaze so -1, will re review when I try it. Dreamsicle 8/10. Really yummy and creamy , just think smoothie pina colada Toasted marshmallow -7/10. Never had anything like it, good tho. Little bit to get used to. read more
This place's interior was very fun and inviting. I loved the pink and green theme throughout. I came here to try the smoothies because the flavors looked very similar to an expensive grocery store in SoCal (you know the one). The flavors were fantastic and the strawberry is so similar to the other place. My sister enjoyed the dreamsicle because of the tropical flavors. I didn't feel like the smoothie was overwhelmingly sweet it was just right. I didn't feel wait quite a bit for the smoothies but it was worth it. My cousin got the Macnut Latte and said the flavor was delicious and she wished she got a larger size. If I had this close to my neighborhood I would come back again! read more

Hello Alison! Thank you so much for stopping in, we loved that you…
Great service and friendly staff. The interior is super cute and I could see myself catching up with friends here all the time. The drinks look cool and cute! got the strawberry Matcha latte and there was virtually no Matcha flavor. I came with a friend who mentioned the drink tasted like flavored water. We also got an açai bowl called main street magic. The ratio of pitaya and açaí was significantly less than I thought it would be for a $17 açai bowl. I think that if I were to come back, I'd have to try different flavors of drinks and avoid the açai bowls. We did not get a chance to try the smoothies. I don't know if I'd come back? But it certainly a cute concept. Again, service and staff were very friendly. I did receive a free flamingo floaty to write this review. :) read more
The whole family have addiction on matcha magic. We order from them at least three times a four times a week via doordash YES they are this good. The matcha is amazing and the sandwiches are more amazing. You are never disappointed when you eat or drink here. Btw I never had matcha before until my kids started ordering from them and I was like let me try it and I got hooked. My favourite is the strawberry matcha latte cold!! The staff here are super sweet and nice. I never had any issues with them. Like even when doordash mess up they make me new drinks or sandwich's for free. The place is super cute and pretty. Let me know what is your favourite drink or sandwich please! read more

Thank you for coming to Matcha Magic! Your kind words mean so much…
Service was quick and easy! The person taking my order is very helpful and nice. This review is strictly for their Strawberry Matcha with oatmilk. As an avid matcha latte drinker, I will be going back to Nana's Green Tea room across the street. Matcha Magic's Matcha latte is mostly milk (taste wise), I did ask to make it a bit stronger and half sweet but that didn't help. Looks great if you're looking for a fun drink for the gram. But for their Matcha Latte? 2/5 for me. Service was great though! read more
