Came in to grab a delicious latte. I love the different varieties of matching they have. The store has absolutely beautiful decor. All the staff here are super friendly. I love how they have oat milk. I ordered the strawberry match and it was amazing. Would highly recommend.
This is such an adorable little matcha shop with a cute aesthetic! We stopped in because we were wanting a some caffeine but didn't want a heavy coffee and the coconut matcha latte sounded too good not to try. It was super yummy and definitely hit the spot! The inside is super cute with lots of fun details, pretty plants and decor, fun colors, and lots of photo worthy spots. Definitely the kind of place where you'll want to take a few pictures! Service was okay though, nothing super memorable. We weren't greeted when we walked in and at first we weren't really sure where we were supposed to order so maybe just a quick greeting or direction would have been helpful! One thing I really love is that they're a woman owned business and donate 5% of their sales to Ladies Who Launch which supports women and nonbinary entrepreneurs. Overall it's a super cute spot for matcha, photos, and a fun little outing. I'd definitely recommend checking it out :)
I really wanted to love Matcha Magic, but my first experience fell a bit short. All of their drinks sounded fantastic, and I ended up deciding on the black sesame matcha. The cafe was not busy at all, and service was quick, but a bit lackluster. The staff weren't super friendly, and it seemed like they didn't really want to be there. The matcha was definitely pretty, layered with black sesame sweet cream and swirl, but had so much ice in it that there wasn't a lot of actual matcha to drink. Overall, the flavor was really solid, it definitely made me want more drink, and less ice, for the nearly $9 I paid. The space is cute, and has ample seating, and fits in perfectly on Old Main Street in Bellevue. I definitely want to give this spot another try, and maybe try a concoction with a little less pizzaz to get the taste of their true matcha flavor.
Matcha Magic has a few locations in the Greater Seattle area; this one in particular that I visited was in Downtown Bellevue. There is street parking around the area and it's quite accessible via public transportation. From the outside, it doesn't seem very big. However, once you actually go inside, it is much larger. It was very spacious and very colorful inside. Lots of pink all around. The service was good. It was a friendly and simple interaction to get my order and drink out. I have been hesitant on trying the matcha from Matcha Magic because I have heard mixed reviews and opinions. Instead, I opted to order one of their popular smoothies, the Strawberry Glaze. The total for my smoothie came out to be $14.34. The smoothie consists of banana, strawberry, avocado, dates, collagen, tremella, and almond milk topped with coconut cream and swirled with house-made strawberry puree. It was good, but nothing I would personally order again.
Cute matcha place in old town Bellevue. We got a strawberry matcha and a blueberry matcha. The service is super friendly and the matcha flavors are fun and tasty- super fun to go on walk in the park with your tasty matcha.
OMG! The best matcha ever! Sad the store is closing end of the month but hoping to see them in a year at new location!
Matcha Magic feels like the closest local version of an Erewhon-style smoothie outside of Joe & The Juice. I tried the Strawberry Glaze and understood the hype right away. It was rich, balanced, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. Compared to Erewhon smoothies, this one was more drinkable and less icy, which I preferred. Definitely mix it before drinking since the strawberry purée settles at the bottom and gets very sweet. The shop is cute and conveniently located in old downtown Bellevue near the park, making it an easy stop during a walk. They also let me briefly bring my dog inside while placing a takeout order, which I appreciated. For the price, it feels fair given the quality and ingredients. I'm already looking forward to trying the coconut smoothie next time.
A neat spot to get some matcha flavored drinks as well as other items. During my visit, I tried their featured drink - Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte - I thought the drink was still balanced and you do get the mango sticky rice taste to it as well. Overall, its worth checking out.
My partner and I joke that this place is why we moved to the eastside because wowwwww wowowowowwowow. I don't think I've ever loved a cafe this much since moving from my hometown nyc like 4 years ago the drinks are SO good (I've tried to recreate them at home and...to no avail). The matcha is perfect, great quality. The interior is ssoooooo cutie, so pink, so fun, feels like you're treating yourself I would be remiss not to mention how incredible the staff are too, like wowwwwww the friendliest baristas I've ever met even on the busiest days, they are soooo sweet, so friendly. Incredible team, we literally go every day off we have now can't say enough good about this spot
My first time visiting Matcha Magic, and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. As soon as I walked in, the two girls working there greeted me very coldly. It honestly felt like they didn't want me there. I ordered my matcha and waited, and when it was ready, they simply placed it on the counter without saying a word while continuing their conversation. I was the only customer there that early in the morning, yet they didn't even seem to notice when I left. The matcha was okay, but the customer service made me feel completely unwelcome. I hope they treat future customers with a little more warmth and attention. I've honestly never felt so unwelcome in a café.
The food here is amazing! I've tried the avocado toast with salmon on top and it totally hits the spot! I've also tried their maca energy balls and I like that they're not too overly sweet! We always come back for the smoothies that's I find better than Erewhon IMO! Service is great! They're very friendly and make suggestions too! The ambiance is on point and is tied with their all natural and clean aesthetic theme, it's also a cute place to meet with friends or an after workout lunch or light snack!
I DoorDashed matcha magic Bellevue and the matcha was incredibly mid. I ordered the toast flight which was good, but the marshmallow matcha just had an unpleasant taste. Barely any marshmallow flavor, matcha flavor was watered down.
Service was quick and easy! The person taking my order is very helpful and nice. This review is strictly for their Strawberry Matcha with oatmilk. As an avid matcha latte drinker, I will be going back to Nana's Green Tea room across the street. Matcha Magic's Matcha latte is mostly milk (taste wise), I did ask to make it a bit stronger and half sweet but that didn't help. Looks great if you're looking for a fun drink for the gram. But for their Matcha Latte? 2/5 for me. Service was great though! read more

This is a really cute cafe with really aesthetic drinks, but the drink quality themselves and the service leave something to be desired... We had ordered for a while and the workers there had left the counter completely, leaving no one making our drinks. When another customer arrived after us and ordered, they received their drink before us. This was super upsetting as they had left the counter unattended again after this customer and did not make our drinks for at least 10 minutes. The cloudy coconut smoothie ($14) was initially tasty, but nothing extraordinary. After 10 minutes, the smoothie became super thin, watery, and tasteless. The peanut butter cup ($11) tasted like a Jamba Juice smoothie except so thick it wouldn't come through the straw. would not come here for the smoothies unless you only care about the picture read more

I love matcha and I kept seeing this place on social media so I decided to stop by for a pick-me-up. The interior is super cute/aesthetic, it seems pretty cozy to sit down and chat with friends or get some work done. I tried their matcha-mallow latte (matcha latte with marshmallow syrup and a toasted marshmallow!) with oat milk but asked for it to be less sweet. The presentation is adorable, but I found the syrup flavor to be kind of overpowering in the drink. The matcha flavor was unique but not as vibrant/astringent as I would expect. I think what I ordered was a miss for my taste, but I'd love to come back and give their other drinks a try (especially their smoothies)! read more

This cafe is such a vibe! I'm a matcha lover so this shop makes me sooooo happy. If you like everything matcha, this is the spot for you! Literally, the name is so fitting. It really is like matcha magic here. There are so many creative drink options on the menu. I didn't realize how customizable you can get with matcha which makes me appreciate matcha even more. I recommend the potions which have healthy adaptogens and boosters included. The golden matcha latte was the first drink I tried here. It had a strong earthy flavor and a nice balance of sweet and bitterness with the matcha. The iced drinks are so aesthetically pleasing. They also offer açaí bowls and toasts on top of that. There are so many health benefits of drinking matcha. I would probably come here every day for a drink if I lived on the eastside. read more

I tried Matcha Magic in Bellevue this morning for the first time as part of the amazing Yelp event and loved it! The cafe is super aesthetic and beautifully decorated, with a pink and white theme that would look gorgeous for pictures. There's some parking on the side of the cafe that you can get validated, and some street parking nearby. Friday afternoon it was busy but still had seating available. Staff was helpful in recommending a smoothie for me to try! I ordered the Strawberry Glaze smoothie (recommended by staff), which is normally $13. It's naturally dairy free which is perfect for me. It was sweet and creamy, tasting like fresh strawberries. The smoothie costs $13, and their smoothie options remind me of the LA store Erewon. The smoothie was my favorite item I tried; I recommend their smoothies! Lastly, I got the açaí bowl called Main Street Magic, with matcha, blue spirulina, and açaí. It costs $14. I love the matcha-flavored chia seed pudding in it, but it was not my favorite açaí bowl. Give this spot a try! read more
I came here for a Yelp Experience and had the Strawberry Glaze smoothie and bought a serving of Avocado Toast while there. I sat inside and was able to appreciate all the beautiful design that went into this place. There are a couple of inspirational neon signs, cute wallpaper and even a painted wall sign out back. All these are great for selfies! I really enjoyed my avocado toast as it was on multigrain bread and had sliced cherry tomatoes, microgreen sprouts, sea salt and olive oil. It was a perfect mid day snack. Overall, the menu has plenty of other items including Acai Bowls, Hummus, Espressos, Lattes, Tonics and plenty of Matcha drinks. These seem to be very healthy foods and beverages. I could possibly lose some weight by eating here daily! I recommend Matcha Magic with the friendly staff, clean aesthetically appealing interior and delicious offerings! read more
My girlfriend and I been wanting to try this place since she loves matcha. When arriving at the cafe shop, it was a good size shop and the inside was super clean and very simple. My girlfriend got the strawberry matcha latte and I wanted to try their food so I got House Avocado Toast(avocado + tomato + microgreens + sea salt + olive oil + multi-grain bread) and also their Macai Bowl(house-made coconut matcha chia seed pudding, granola, strawberries, banana, coconut, honey). It's crazy how avocado toast is so expensive but this was delicious and this was the best acai bowl I ever had and I defiantly would come back just for this! Overall, service was nice and fast and I will defiantly come back again! read more

It's a sunny day today and we were looking for a spot for smoothies. We saw this pop up on Yelp so went to check it out. They offer traditional ceremonial matcha, coffee, specialty drinks, smoothies, açaí bowls and toasts. The decor inside is a great photo op. I love the wallpaper, seats and decorations. There's free 2 hour parking with purchase. Just show the barista your license plate for validation. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended. read more

walking in, i was greeted with pink leafy wallpaper and neon signs radiating a very cute aesthetic which i do enjoy. a moderate amount of tables are provided for matcha chats and work, but a few outlets are presented. a spokesman store with great lighting and beautiful decor! ordering was very quick and easy. probably only waited 5 minutes for our 3 drinks to come out (went on a monday 1pm). for the drinks, i ordered 2 matcha lattes w/ oatmilk and a strawberry matcha with oatmilk. overall rating, an 8/10!! the drinks came out with a beautiful depth of green and when just tasting the matcha it was bitter and flavorful as it should be :p i was worried about the strawberry matcha as it is sometimes a hit or miss at places with the strawberry overpowering the matcha, however, this place was a perfect balance of tasting both the matcha and strawberry. definitely lots of matcha was whisked in though i can tell! overall, this place i believe is for people who enjoy the more bitter tasting matcha which is what i would recommend to them! as a person who prefers sweeter matcha, i still found this place enjoyable as i was able to appreciate the matcha taste itself. read more

Cute little place on Main Street. Kind of boho, surfy, free spirit vibes. Interesting assortment of drinks with lots of pop-health benefits! Trends towards the younger, gen-z crowd, and younger staff working as well. We got a couple of smoothies, and taste wise, they're smoothies. Can get a bit pricey though. read more

Wow, this place is SO good. Love their fresh ingredients and options of healthy and tasty drinks and supplements. I want to come back to try the smoothies and toasts. The matcha colada was SO good. I loved the fresh pineapple pulp that I stirred in. My friends toasted matcha mellow latte smelled delicious. The space is beautiful, makes me dream of a beach destination and happy vibes. Service was friendly enough. It was clean. Parking free and easy to get validated. read more
The interior is super cute and the store was empty when I visited on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered the toasted matchmallow latte, and the cashier was patient with all my questions about their menu. It was made right after ordering. I took a couple sips after thoroughly mixing, and the drink was nasty. I drank one inch of the beverage at most and threw it away after 30 minutes. I didn't want to throw it away but there was no way I could finish it. The other reviews here are good, but my personal experience with my order was terrible. read more

Matcha Magic is a spot worth checking out if you're wanting good matcha in the downtown Bellevue area. My go-to drink is the Oat Milk Strawberry Matcha. The quality of drinks can vary depending on who's making them, so consistency could use a little work. Sometimes you can taste the matcha, other times it's overly syrupy or too milky. Service also varies depending on who's working. Their matcha is pre-mixed, which may not appeal to matcha purists, but I appreciate that their standard drinks come with plant-based milk. The atmosphere is great and they offer some seating to enjoy your drink or food. My cousin tried the Macadamia Nut Latte and said it was good, so if you're not wanting matcha they do offer a limited selection of coffee drinks. They also offer smoothies and açaí bowls which I have yet to try. If you're wanting a good matcha I would recommend you try out Matcha Magic. However, if you're looking for a more stronger matcha I would skip this place. read more

I tried this place for the first time during the summer and it was so good!! I wanted to try their cloudy coconut or strawberry glaze but saw there was avocado in it but didn't ask if they can make it without so I just got their Rose Glow with oat milk and I loved it!! Their service is super nice though I should have just asked but maybe next time!! I definitely will come back for the Rose Glow. It's super rosey and I love that. The place is very cute too!! read more

When you enter the store, it's a lovely pink aesthetic with marbled tables. The staff that spoke to me were very respectful. I got a strawberry matcha. The strawberry matcha was delicious! The flavor of the strawberry balances the matcha and vice versa - 9/10. Would come here again! read more
Not bad! Its a very cute (aesthetic) spot, and their drinks are pretty quality albeit a bit expensive and horrible parking in that area (but it's a wealthy area so it also makes sense). Love the creative options they have with all their drinks, from ube to strawberry to toasted marshmallows. Ive tried a few flavors and theyre all pretty delicious, although the matcha is a bit watery (both flavor and consistency) - I can taste it but want a lot more of that flavor to balance out the other flavors instead of getting overpowered by them, since the matcha should really shine. read more
