Came in to grab a delicious latte. I love the different varieties of matching they have. The store has absolutely beautiful decor. All the staff here are super friendly. I love how they have oat milk. I ordered the strawberry match and it was amazing. Would highly recommend.

This is such an adorable little matcha shop with a cute aesthetic! We stopped in because we were wanting a some caffeine but didn't want a heavy coffee and the coconut matcha latte sounded too good not to try. It was super yummy and definitely hit the spot! The inside is super cute with lots of fun details, pretty plants and decor, fun colors, and lots of photo worthy spots. Definitely the kind of place where you'll want to take a few pictures! Service was okay though, nothing super memorable. We weren't greeted when we walked in and at first we weren't really sure where we were supposed to order so maybe just a quick greeting or direction would have been helpful! One thing I really love is that they're a woman owned business and donate 5% of their sales to Ladies Who Launch which supports women and nonbinary entrepreneurs. Overall it's a super cute spot for matcha, photos, and a fun little outing. I'd definitely recommend checking it out :)

I really wanted to love Matcha Magic, but my first experience fell a bit short. All of their drinks sounded fantastic, and I ended up deciding on the black sesame matcha. The cafe was not busy at all, and service was quick, but a bit lackluster. The staff weren't super friendly, and it seemed like they didn't really want to be there. The matcha was definitely pretty, layered with black sesame sweet cream and swirl, but had so much ice in it that there wasn't a lot of actual matcha to drink. Overall, the flavor was really solid, it definitely made me want more drink, and less ice, for the nearly $9 I paid. The space is cute, and has ample seating, and fits in perfectly on Old Main Street in Bellevue. I definitely want to give this spot another try, and maybe try a concoction with a little less pizzaz to get the taste of their true matcha flavor.

Matcha Magic has a few locations in the Greater Seattle area; this one in particular that I visited was in Downtown Bellevue. There is street parking around the area and it's quite accessible via public transportation. From the outside, it doesn't seem very big. However, once you actually go inside, it is much larger. It was very spacious and very colorful inside. Lots of pink all around. The service was good. It was a friendly and simple interaction to get my order and drink out. I have been hesitant on trying the matcha from Matcha Magic because I have heard mixed reviews and opinions. Instead, I opted to order one of their popular smoothies, the Strawberry Glaze. The total for my smoothie came out to be $14.34. The smoothie consists of banana, strawberry, avocado, dates, collagen, tremella, and almond milk topped with coconut cream and swirled with house-made strawberry puree. It was good, but nothing I would personally order again.

Cute matcha place in old town Bellevue. We got a strawberry matcha and a blueberry matcha. The service is super friendly and the matcha flavors are fun and tasty- super fun to go on walk in the park with your tasty matcha.

OMG! The best matcha ever! Sad the store is closing end of the month but hoping to see them in a year at new location!

Matcha Magic feels like the closest local version of an Erewhon-style smoothie outside of Joe & The Juice. I tried the Strawberry Glaze and understood the hype right away. It was rich, balanced, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. Compared to Erewhon smoothies, this one was more drinkable and less icy, which I preferred. Definitely mix it before drinking since the strawberry purée settles at the bottom and gets very sweet. The shop is cute and conveniently located in old downtown Bellevue near the park, making it an easy stop during a walk. They also let me briefly bring my dog inside while placing a takeout order, which I appreciated. For the price, it feels fair given the quality and ingredients. I'm already looking forward to trying the coconut smoothie next time.

Fun cute matcha shop in old town Bellevue, come check out out! There are so many different flavors and choices. They also have smoothies, if you aren't a matcha fan.

A neat spot to get some matcha flavored drinks as well as other items. During my visit, I tried their featured drink - Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte - I thought the drink was still balanced and you do get the mango sticky rice taste to it as well. Overall, its worth checking out.

My partner and I joke that this place is why we moved to the eastside because wowwwww wowowowowwowow. I don't think I've ever loved a cafe this much since moving from my hometown nyc like 4 years ago the drinks are SO good (I've tried to recreate them at home and...to no avail). The matcha is perfect, great quality. The interior is ssoooooo cutie, so pink, so fun, feels like you're treating yourself I would be remiss not to mention how incredible the staff are too, like wowwwwww the friendliest baristas I've ever met even on the busiest days, they are soooo sweet, so friendly. Incredible team, we literally go every day off we have now can't say enough good about this spot

My first time visiting Matcha Magic, and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. As soon as I walked in, the two girls working there greeted me very coldly. It honestly felt like they didn't want me there. I ordered my matcha and waited, and when it was ready, they simply placed it on the counter without saying a word while continuing their conversation. I was the only customer there that early in the morning, yet they didn't even seem to notice when I left. The matcha was okay, but the customer service made me feel completely unwelcome. I hope they treat future customers with a little more warmth and attention. I've honestly never felt so unwelcome in a café.

The food here is amazing! I've tried the avocado toast with salmon on top and it totally hits the spot! I've also tried their maca energy balls and I like that they're not too overly sweet! We always come back for the smoothies that's I find better than Erewhon IMO! Service is great! They're very friendly and make suggestions too! The ambiance is on point and is tied with their all natural and clean aesthetic theme, it's also a cute place to meet with friends or an after workout lunch or light snack!

I DoorDashed matcha magic Bellevue and the matcha was incredibly mid. I ordered the toast flight which was good, but the marshmallow matcha just had an unpleasant taste. Barely any marshmallow flavor, matcha flavor was watered down.

Ask the Community - Matcha Magic Bellevue

Are any of your drinks gluten free?

Yes, most of our drinks are gluten free, assuming you select a milk that is not oat milk. All major allergen information is available upon request at the register.

Hello! Do your latte drinks contain coffee?

Latte means steamed milk - but if you're asking for a matcha latte - It would be matcha plus milk only (no coffee) . Or you may ask for steamed milk alone :)

Does the matcha powder have sugar?

No sugar at all! Just 100% pure ceremonial grade matcha

What drinks can be vegan?

All of them! The only non-vegan ingredient is collagen, but all of the drinks here are made with plant-based milk as the default. Choose from oat, soy, coconut, barley or house-made almond :)

Bellden Cafe has it all, we've already gone several times I'm obsessed with the ube mochi waffle, it is soooo delicious (not too sweet, incredible texture and flavor). Their matcha is also lovely, I got matcha with rose syrup both times I went (so immaculate). I've turned into a bit of a matcha snob, so always looking for some good options and they hit the spot. The service is incredible, literally the people working there are the nicest people everrrr. Even on a super busy weekend morning, they were so accommodating, so friendly and even remembered us from just one visit! Really fantastic team, they really make the whole experience even MORE lovely. And the interior is jussssst so gorg!!! The decor is immaculate, there's lots of space (even when it was crowded), would be a perfect place to work from during the week, even their outdoor tables were very clean and cutie. When we walked in, most of the indoor tables were taken, but we got lucky and snagged one right as a couple was leaving. They have a pretty extensive drink menu of coffees, teas and smoothies alongside a food selection of açaí and yogurt bowls, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, toasts and salads. Prices do seem rather steep for food (particularly for the waffles), however, this business has a great philanthropic mindset that helps explain the price points. Whenever someone orders a specialty drink, they donate some of the proceeds to a charity. + LATTE w/ MISO MAPLE syrup ($5 for 12 oz. + $1 for syrup): The coffee itself was so good - robust, with a perfect balance between the espresso and milk. I was so excited to try this unique syrup flavor, but sadly, I didn't taste it at all. No umami from the miso and not even a hint of maple. I'm not sure if this syrup is just extremely subtle, or if it was simply forgotten. I really hope it's not the latter, since I paid extra for it. + MATCHA CHIA PUDDING ($13): The bowl may look small, but it was deep and the portion turned out to be filling. A Greek yogurt base was beautifully layered with matcha chia pudding, a strawberry-rhubarb compote, granola and rose. I loved the compote which had the perfect sweetness of ripe strawberries and a little tang from the rhubarb. The matcha pudding was on the milder side, but smooth in consistency, contrasting nicely with the crunchy granola. My friend ordered the Açaí Bowl and really enjoyed it. The serving looked reasonable for the price as well. Overall, the two of us had a wonderful time here catching up over a healthy brunch! Tip: They have two small rooms available to reserve for parties of 4-6 if you're looking to secure seating for a group.

The toppings are pretty consistent each time and they're generous with portions (24oz in total), peanut butter (if included), and fruits. I do wish their bases weren't blended smoothies and I wish they had at least one bowl option that contained raw acai scoops. Last time I got the acai bowl, I asked for no coconut nectar/honey, but I think the person making my order mixed it up and removed the coconut flakes instead and still added the coconut nectar/honey when I had asked for it to be removed. Overall, I really like this location in Bellevue. Nice and spacious instead, but can get a little hard to find seats during busy hours. It is below the connected Bank of America and Amazon buildings I believe. I think I'd want to try the smoothies next time I visit since they remind me of the ones at Erewhon. I also like their bites and snack options like the PB power bite and brownie, everything's made with wholesome and minimal ingredients.

The granola was delicious and I liked how they layered it at both the top and the bottom of the cup so you're not just left with açaí at the end. The açaí base itself was good, not too sweet or bland. Only complaint I have would be on the consistency of the base. It didn't feel firm enough and melted really fast. Fruit was fresh, wish they had different topping options but they don't specialize in açaí bowls which is understandable. I'd definitely come back whenever I'm craving an açaí bowl.

This was my first time at Emerald City Smoothie in ten years and my first time at the Downtown Bellevue location. The interior is fairly small with only a few tables to sit/stand at and so it's mostly a takeout place rather than a place to meet with friends. Emerald City Smoothie has a wide menu and categorize their menu into five categories based on health goals: "Boost My Immune System", "Help Me Lose Weight", "Go Green", "Bulk Me Up" and "Nourish My Body". They also have a menu just for "Boosters" which cost extra and include everything from antioxidants to bees pollen to creatine and fat burner. Lastly, they have a Secret Menu which includes Banana Creme Pie, Matcha Green Tea, Maui Paradise, Mountain Berry Blast, Orange Creamsicle, Piña Colada, and Peanut Butter Cup. I'm pretty sure their secret menu is just drinks that don't fit into the other categories (or ran out of room for), because they had these same drinks on their menu ten years ago. I ordered the MATCHA GREEN TEA (16-oz) off the secret menu. This smoothie has soy milk, matcha, non-fat milk, and whey. For $7.44 (including tax), this was pretty pricey for a "healthified" matcha Frappucinno. They obviously don't use high quality matcha as the matcha color was on the yellow side and the taste was quite diluted and bland. It mostly just tasted like sugary blended milk with little to no matcha flavor; I was honestly disappointed, but drank it anyway. My friend got her favorite NUTTY BANANA (sub vegan protein) which has banana, peanut butter, protein, and nonfat milk, which is probably what I should've gotten instead. She also ordered a PB&J and MANGO MANIA for her family members which are also supposed to be decent. Lesson learned, stick with the fruit smoothies. Service was good- the baristas are friendly and efficient and we got our drinks within 10 minutes after ordering. Overall: 2/5 for drinks, 4/5 for service, 3/5 for atmosphere
