This was my first lash lift/tint and I don't think I'm ever going back to extensions! My very very straight, short lashes are now beautifully curled and defined but they still look natural. Truly in love with Chito's work. I have tried lashes extension work before a few times, and it caused irritation on my eyes. But I have not experienced that after visiting Chito! I love that eyelashes are vegan. I have asked for a natural look and cannot be happier with the result. The salon is very clean. My temperature was measured before the visit. After my lash lady went on maternity leave I was looking for a high quality yet affordable work space and I definitely found it. This was my first eyelash extension experience and I was very surprised to see how long they held on. I lost a few each week and they still looked pretty good throughout the first month. They looked sparse and uneven by the end of the second month and the final lash just fell off and it's just shy of 3 months. I only used non water proof eyeliner and washed my eyes very gently. The application went smoothly with a negligible amount of irritation. My mom noticed them immediately when I went to visit her but most of my friends reassured me they looked quite natural. Although I personally was only interested in synthetic non-animal lashes, I think it's a little misleading to name the lashes mink and sable without clarifying. That being said, I think they are a high quality and deserve that recognition. I enjoyed chito's calm and caring personality and she was not rude or overly chatty and focused on the job which I really appreciated. I'm not sure if I enjoy how fake eyelashes feel since it's hard to feel like your eyes are truly ever "clean", but if I wanted to get them done again, I would return. read more

She has tons of reference photos printed and even gave me a preview of my style before starting. She did this by applying 5 lashes spaced out across my eye to give me an idea of the shape and length. Another thing I really appreciated was how thorough she was with aftercare instructions. I'd had technicians in the past briefly mention lash cleaning, but I didn't realize how essential it is. Chito explained that proper cleaning helps stimulate lash growth and avoid any kind of damage. She even showed me the exact tool I could buy online to clean them, but she also offers that service for just a little extra. I've never seen that at any other salon.
