Love this place! I've been coming here for eyebrow threading and tinting for a while now, and they consistently do such a great job. I especially appreciate that they take walk-ins since my schedule can be unpredictable. Sometimes the wait is longer than others, but that's completely expected with a walk-in setup! At my most recent visit, I tried a lash lift for the first time, and my lashes turned out AMAZING. The process itself was a little uncomfortable (mostly because the chair was a bit stiff), but the results were so worth it. My lashes look unreal! I always get so many compliments on my brows, and I'm sure my lashes will be getting just as many now. I usually see Nisha, and she is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend! read more

Went here for a laser hair removal. As someone that has received a ton of laser hair removal before, I can guarantee you that I know what I am talking about. It was a last minute appointment for me and I don't have a lot in my southern area due to all the previous sessions I had at other places. This is just a touch up after 10 years. So I didn't shave because it was last minute and didn't have time (pretty normal at most places to touch you up if you didn't), as you know we have to shave. So I asked my laser tech, she said you don't need to because this way she knows where it is. Big mistake trusting her that maybe she knew a new hack (?). It's been 2 weeks and nothing has happened except that she probably burned me (read online why you need to shave). I have never ever had hyper pigmentation but I was covered in red dots that are now gray. I'm pretty fair skin but I am a POC and it's crazy because I've always done the higher settings for any laser, whether it is IPL or hair removal. I don't know what the tech did. All the areas that I have hyperpigermentation or the pink/red burns are on areas I didn't have any hair. Then we hit the areas that do, she never shaved so it hurt extra bad and of course it doesn't hit the follicles, burnt, and I still have hair..... And I will say as someone that is from the 2nd densest big city after NYC, this was 5x what it cost back home. This is crazy, not only is it more expensive, it was done incorrectly, somehow I manage to get burned and none of the hair follicles were killed. It's upsetting that this store is operating and I TIPPED THEM. Never in my life had I ever have to tip anyone for laser and they ask for it here. SKIP AT ALL COST. TLDR: I'm a laser vet, said I didn't need to shave (quick google says they are wrong), something nothing worked/ineffective, I got burned, I have hyperpigmentation which has never happened, 5x other places in price, and they ask for tip (mildly unorthodox.. I tipped though - hindsight wish I didn't) read more

Lash Lift with Tint Regular with Kamala Hard barber chair (when other places have you lay down) so my neck and knees were numb, no gloves, she used shared brushes and kept dipping into the tube then into my eye then back into the tube aka nothing disposable and super unhygienic, fingers in my eyes and lips and very rough, dye in my eyes burning, set the materials on my chest as a desk, left eye looks decent but right eye looks like nothing happened super uneven (see picture it looks insane), tried to force me to Venmo her a tip read more

Love this place. I go for eyebrow threading and tinting, and am always happy with the results.

Nisha is amazing ! I had my brows threaded and tinted as well as a facial and microdermabrasion. The precision of the thread and thoroughness of the facial Sah owes true skill. We talked during the sessions and I learned the business has been there for over 18 years and Nisha has been there for 14 years. I appreciate that level of experience and skilled. I recommend this business. read more

I have been going there for just over 10 yrs and I have always left happy. Threading, waxing, and now laser, I'm always satisfied.

Jade is the best! I got a facial and threading, and I always love coming here. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful. read more

Starting off my experience at Brow Zone, I had my introductory appointment for a full leg laser removal session with Mandy. Mandy is not just a Registered Nurse, she's also a YAG Certified Technician. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a team that was welcoming, professional and knowledgeable. They guided me through what to expect and helped me with authorization forms and my medical background. Mandy turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into an enjoyable one. She made sure to maintain engaging conversation and share laughs throughout the procedure. If you haven't heard of the YAG laser machine, let me tell you - it's revolutionary. I can hardly wait for my next session with Mandy in March. If you're feeling uncertain about trying laser procedures, let this new year be a chance for a fresh start, gifting yourself with baby-soft skin. I highly recommend giving it a try and scheduling an appointment with Mandy! read more

Excellent tinting, truly last a month or so. I've been going on and off for years ! Great service

My partner loves this place so I went with her recently, and maybe due to its popularity, its central location, or New Yorkers joining a line when they see one, the line kept growing after us. I finally got serviced after an eyebrow specialist started on a woman who was seated waiting in one of the chairs, and I spoke up. It was one of the most painful experiences I've had in threading: My specialist was kind enough to say something nice while I piped up but that's what you'll get for the rate and not being upsold on other services (they don't have time to do anything else)! read more

High quality!!!!! So nice and answered all questions. I couldn't ask for better service. Everyone is so kind and Lovely (the specialist) was TOP notch. She provided color guidance and it was perfect!!!!! read more

Loved my experience and will definitely be a regular! Painless and friendly service! Highly recommend.

This was one of the worst wax experiences of my life and I've been waxing for years. I got an upper lip and eyebrow wax done. I explicitly asked for a light clean up. The person doing it was so rough and was putting very thick wax on. She wasn't strategic with how she was doing it. She just clumped it on and took it off. Not thoughtful and no attention to detail. She ended up taking too much off one side and my eyebrows were uneven. When I said that - she literally told me there was nothing that she could do because I chose to wax instead of thread. She said waxing is always uneven and because it was my decision to wax instead of thread that this was just the situation. That to me is absurd - I've been waxing for years and no one else has ever justified uneven work by saying you got a wax, so just deal with it. The women were rude and didn't acknowledge the issue. They told me they could continue to take more off...which I did not want to do. This was the worst wax experience and I don't suggest anyone come here. read more

It truly depends on who services you at the salon but overall my brows usually come out very good. However, I think it is a bit overpriced.

I've come on & off because it's near my job and we're back in office. I've been neglecting my eyebrows but when i need to get them done-i know where to go. This is my spot. The wait is never long. Price is reasonable also. read more

I am super spoiled with such a great spot that consistently does my eyebrows great. $10 and quick!! Let's go!!!

I usually go to Unique Threading Salon on 6th avenue. As I was in the Union Square area for other matters, I thought I'd save myself a trip and go here. Why here? Because of the good reviews and images. I didn't give enough consideration to the fact that many of the gorgeous before and afters were not only of brow threading but the extra service of tinting. Perhaps if I'd also gotten my brows tinted, I might've had better results. I'll never know because I will not be returning to Brows Zone. There's a sign on the door that says $9 for a brow threading. Inside, there's another sign that says the same. I mentioned to the lady that just wanted my brows cleaned up and that I want to keep them as full as possible. She seemed to be doing a lot but I reassured myself by thinking of the photos of brows that came out well here. When it came time to pay, I take my wallet out and she says, "ten dollars." Okay. I was in a great mood. Signs say $9 but here ya go. Since she gave herself an extra dollar, I just gave her one additional dollar instead of the $4-$5 tip I usually give for my brows. Decided that that would be my first and last visit to Brows Zone and went on my merry way. To add insult to injury, I developed a lil red rash (which is fortunately fading but can still be seen in my pic). Ugh, this is what I get for cheating on Unique, lol. Dismal. UPDATE: The business owner, Dilshad, was kind enough to reply to my review. She mentioned that my brow threader assumed that I may have seen the "note" as it's "visible as it is in large red fonts...." Among the items on the counter, I saw no such "note." The $1 was worth mentioning as the prices (unlike the note) were clearly displayed. Covid surcharges are for the greater good and, especially if clearly displayed, of course I do not mind paying. Apparently, Dilshad and I both need our eyes checked. Dilshad clung to my comments about the dollar but she made no mention of the PHOTO attached to my review where you can clearly see (unlike the note, lol) the poor job done to my brows. She also made no mention of the RASH that developed as a result of my visit to her establishment. Dilshad, thank you for your reply! Brows Zone isn't for me but there seem to be many here who love it. On that note, continued success and stay well! :) read more

I came here for the first time to get eye brow and upper lip threading as I was in the area for a yoga glass. It is conveniently a block away from each other . Komala who did my services was amazing . I was hesitant about eye brow tinting until she used a dark brown on my and it came out so natural looking. I will definitely come visit again for my other services . read more

I absolutely love Yasmeen at Brow Zone. Always excellent, impeccable service from her. She is polite, kind, runs on time, and she listens to my concerns with great bedside manner. I have been doing Brazilian waxing, eyebrow and lip threading, lash tint/curl, and microdermabrasion, extractions and gold facials with her for the past few years. Since I have been seeing Yasmeen at Brow Zone, I have not had any pimples or breakouts and I have had a lifetime of acne. Everyone says I look ten years younger since I have been seeing her as well. Also, I have very short blond lashes and she makes them look full, dark, and long. I do not get ingrowns from her waxes. They are completely COVID compliant. My daughter uses her for all of her services as well. read more

Came for a brow threading. The lady was quick and did a great job on cleaning up my brows. Will definitely come back.

Brows Zone is the best place to get your brows shaped. The best thing about this place is every technician knows their job so well. So irrespective of the person you get well taken care (which has always been a challenge for me). I have also tried microdermabrasion and some of their face peels which are great option if you are running short of time and need a good glow for upcoming special days/events. Finally I can say I have found a place where I am guaranteed excellent service by thorough professionals. Bonus- they have two locations! read more

I've been going to this place for nearly ten years for eyebrow threading. I love the way they shape my eyebrows. I was used to the up-sell of "and upper lip?" when I said I only wanted my eyebrows done, and always politely declined. Recently, though, they've been commenting that I would be a "great candidate for laser hair removal," and pointing to my chin and neck area. I am very self conscious about this hair, I have PCOS and usually pluck it myself. I hadn't been back in months because of the laser hair removal comment, and today before going I made sure to tweeze in hopes that I could just get my eyebrows done in peace. The woman was almost finished shaping my brows when she said, "Have you been here before?" I said yes. "You could get laser on your whole neck area, we could do a patch test, make an appointment, it would make your life so much easier." Excuse me. I understand you want to make money but pointing out hair on my body and suggesting it be removed is rude and uncalled for and makes people feel bad about themselves. How do you know I want this removed? Eyebrows are a $9 service. Laser hair removal for face is $140, I looked at the chart. It made me uncomfortable and embarrassed. That may be the way to shame some people into spending hundreds of dollars, but I'm not one of them. I love the way my eyebrows are done here but I may need to find another place to go because every time I am insulted. read more

Brow Zone is open and the ladies are taking EXCELLENT precautions to make their business clean, sanitized, and safe during covid-19. I had my temperature checked, signed in with my name, hand sanitizer was given, chair was wiped down with rubbing alcohol before and after, and all the ladies have masks and gloves. Yasmeen is the BEST and my absolute favorite! Yasmeen does my brows and wax and she's very caring, fun, and professional. A big thanks to Yasmeen and the Brow Zone ladies for making me feel very comfortable and safe, and I highly recommend customers to go and get your treatments! read more

I love this place! It's a hidden gem that is totally affordable and the service is incredible! Every single time I've walked into this place, I have always been greeted with a smile, and the threading is unbelievably painless (well, as painless as threading can get!). I've never felt like they've rushed through a job. The thing I love most about this place is that they do an amazing job, and also take the time & care to give you a nice cooling gel afterwards (along with a nice little eyebrow massage). Love this place and I'm so happy I found it! read more

She spent twice as long on the indian woman next to me than on my brows. (Needless to say, I'm not Indian.) Unfortunately, that meant that the line was getting longer behind me. The results were rushed and painful. In fact, she refused to give me the wax I asked for on my lip. Her excuse was that she can be more precise with threading but (1) she left hairs on my lip that I had to deal with back home, and (2) she obviously wanted to get me out the door and didn't want to have to waste time on wax. If the results were worth it, I might have excused the terrible experience, but my eyebrows are way too thin and uneven on either side. Further, she discolored my skin and almost made me bleed because of how much she was rushing. Please note that I am specifically reviewing the older woman in the business. I've had my brows and lip done by other individuals, and never had problems like these before. read more

This place is a hidden GEM. Affordable and such good work!! Yasmeen is my brow guru queen. Perfection every single visit. She takes her time, ensuring your brows are the perfect shape for your face, leaving them full and lush (my preference). 100% recommend this spot and Yasmeen's handy work. You're in the best hands. :) read more

Definitely get your eyebrows done by Yasmin, she is absolutely the best! I had avoided this place for many years due to an awful wax experience so hence the 1 star deduction. I hope they improved the wax practice and process since then... But yes, Yasmin, YES! read more

I used to come here ages ago when they first opened. I have a go to person but when I'm in my neighborhood but when I'm in union square I come here to get cleaned up. It's quiet. I liked Marina. I told her I was trying to grow my brows and I didn't want her to take off too much hair. She listened. She told me what she was going to do. She was gentle - as much as one can be w threading - and careful. She took her time. She was meticulous. I did my whole face for $31. I was worried to wax nose hairs cuz I don't find wax to be clean but she said they don't double dip. She cleaned my face w alcohol before and after And used aloe gel after and gave me a face massage. Probably shoulda just done aloe cuz if probably contains alcohol anyway. The woman at the desk used a tinted brow gel on me to try to sell it to me but wasn't pushy. read more

I decided to get my eyebrows threaded on a whim and am glad I took a chance on this place. A+ for cleanliness and Covid protocols and for shaping my eyebrows without decimating them. Very happy with my brows! Highly recommend!! read more

Yasmin is amazing!! I get a full body wax once a month & she is so gentle & thorough. Also, my eyebrow lady just recently moved away & I haven't been able to find someone who knows what they're doing until I met Yasmin. Make an appt w her & you will not regret it. read more

Just had a horrible time at this place. This woman messed up my eyebrows so badly and her excuse was "you told me skinny". There is no shape, no arch, it is uneven and poorly done. When I expressed my displeasure, she did not fret, she did not apologize for her below satisfactory job, there was no discount given just blame put on me. The horrible job was matched my the horrible service. Will not go back at all and I recommend people seek to get their eyebrows done elsewhere. Good job Brow Zone for blaming your customers! D- on your threading job and an F on your customer service. You guys take a look at my eyebrows for yourself. What shape is this??!! read more

After my recent move to the city, I've been on the hunt for a go-to threading salon. I've tried a few and they've all been good but Yasmine at Brow Zone was GREAT. She listened to what I wanted, delivered, and had such a light hand that I didn't really feel much pain through the process. The threading was also really fairly priced and she gives a nice face and head massage after you finish. After my really hectic morning, this was such an unexpected treat. I've never left an eyebrow place in less pain than when I walked in, but Yasmine works miracles. Looks like I found my spot! read more

Before the holidays my friend recommended Neesha from Browzone for a laser session. I went in not knowing what to expect and was a bit nervous...but Neesha was amazing! I've been going to this place for years and can't believe I haven't thrown them some internet love yet. In a past life I was Bert from Sesame Street so I try to get my eyebrows threaded every 2-3 weeks, and the ladies at Brows Zone all but take a chainsaw to them with the finest of precision. I've been extremely pleased with every experience I've had here for something like 5 years, which is downright miraculous. Two other great things: 1. It's not uncomfortable to go here if you're a guy. None of the staff giggle or stare or do anything untoward, which is way better than what I can say about other places I've encountered. 2. One time, at their old location on 14th Street, I was getting my eyebrows done when this dude stepped in off the sidewalk to scream "faggot" at me in this very small store front. What could have been an uncomfortable interaction was completely diffused when every woman working turned to him, cursed him out on that spot, and threatened to f*** him up if he didn't get out pronto. They genuinely care about their customers and it was the first time anyone ever threatened to beat someone up for me! I will love them forever. read more

This is my go to threading station by school. Overall they do a great job at eyebrow threading. This is the only service I have gotten done here so I can't speak to their other services. Nisha does a fantastic job and I try to go on days when she is working. She takes her time with my brows and makes sure my brows are shaped the way I want. They also always offer to fill in your eyebrows with product after you're done. They do tend to push you to buy the product but they're still happy to fill them in for you anyway, even if you don't choose to purchase it. If you plan on coming here regularly, make sure to sign up for their rewards program! read more

Brows Zone is my absolute favorite. Neesha and Niki are phenomenal. I trust Neesha with my life! I get brows threaded and they take their time and focus to make sure they're perfect. What an amazing experience! My lady basically took her time with one brow, allowed me to double check her work, I wanted them thinner at the end, she fixed it more to my liking, and then did the other brow. Lovely.
