I was disappointed with the wait-time management during my visit. I was initially told the wait for my preferred technician would be about 45 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes, I confirmed that I was next. However, after waiting over an hour, another client who had arrived much later was taken before me, and I was then informed I would need to wait an additional hour. I am not new to laser hair removal, and while I was searching online, I came across a Groupon that I could not pass up. I immediately made the purchase and I called the next day to set an appointment. The commute was fairly easy, I took the 3 train and then a six min walk. The location is near 34th St., which I loved because I got to browse around afterwards lol. Upon entering, it wasn't too pleasant it honestly looked kind of scary walking in the building until I asked the elevator man where to go, and he directed me to the elevator to the second floor. When I got upstairs, the establishment was nice, clean and spacious. When I checked in I was told by the front desk lady that there was going to be a one time charge of $10 with my Groupon voucher. I paid and then waited less than five minutes to be seen. My laser tech was super friendly and sweet. I believe her name is Alexandria if I am not mistaken and she was very knowledgeable. She asked me if I had any questions to make sure I was good before we proceeded. It literally took five minutes for my underarms. I wanted to go a few times before writing a review. I got a Groupon deal to get laser treatments on a small area for a year. I've been there three times and I have to say that I like the results so far. This is not my first time getting laser treatments. The front desk staff and the laser technicians were very professional. They have their own promotions outside of Groupon which they tried to sell me. They are not aggressive, which I appreciate. There is something to note--they have a rule that you have to shave at least 24 hours prior to receiving laser treatment and you can't use their bathroom to shave. However, when I went for an appointment, they had a promotion for Memorial Day. One of the front desk employees told me that they could shave me if I wanted to get the promotion that day (and get started). What happened to the rule about shaving the day before and not being able to shave there? Anyway, the salon has a loft feel, it's spacious and clean. The bathroom is clean as well. To get to the salon, you have to take an elevator and the main level is super sketch. I'm always scared of the elevator but they have an elevator technician. The therapists assigned are always different but they have all been pleasant and seem competent. I never had to wait for long for my appointments. There are trade offs for the price - for an appointment I've booked, sometimes I received 6-7 texts/emails 'changing' the appointment. This is likely the staff assigning therapists which they shouldn't send out notifications to clients. When I received reminder texts, clicking on confirming appointment will generate an error message. When you call in, they say that's ok, that's the way the text system works. Some days when you call to book an appointment, you're put on hold for a long time, best to just email them. The front desk can be bored looking and a bit disinterested at times. Despite the cons, it is still a good place for laser hair removal. read more

Got laser treatment for two different areas and am seeing different results. You do get a free session for writing a 5 star review so not all of these reviews are reliable. Legs: 4/5 stars. The hair is more coarse so the machine was able to get rid of most of it, with some light hairs coming back after 8 sessions. Arms and hands: 1/5 stars. I did 8 sessions and am seeing no difference in results after the 8 sessions were over. I ended up buying another 8 sessions for my hands and will update my review if I see better results. I specifically asked her this means you don't care about your customers and she said confirmed it. She took no responsibility and said I had signed a waiver acknowledging that results could range from 90% to 0% reduction -- essentially giving them a way out of any accountability. In my final session, the technician didn't even treat most part of my upper arms, though they'd done so in the past. It might be because they knew i will not go back to that place anymore. Got my one year unlimited laser for one small and one large area from Groupon. This is my 6th time visit. Very clean, and the waiting area is very comfortable. They are very on time on your schedule. Every time I went there on time, basically no need to wait at all. Stuff were friendly. And they schedule your appointment every 6 weeks. Sometime I need to reschedule , just call ahead, they answer and reschedule right away. For the laser result is pretty awesome. Few more month to complete. read more

I booked a 1 year package to this laser spa , i went for my 1st appt on Monday .The office is very clean the receptionist are so sweet and knowledgeable of all services ! Which was very pleasing . All covid regulations are in place . In addition when you check in on Yelp their perk is 1free session so that itself was phenomenal! So i applied that to my service . My laser tech was Victoria and she was so pleasant, Paitent and warm with me she fully explained everything thing to me in detail which i was grateful for . Heads-up, this place has a lot of incentivized reviews. Service is fine but scheduling needs major improvement. It's not super friendly but they get you in and out and the outcome seems decent thus far. Groupon deal is a good value, and will see if the results last. However, I need to dock two stars because their scheduling system is an inefficient nightmare. They have two phone numbers but nobody answers. You have to email them for an appointment. Not sure why you can't just schedule online and see the availability calendar like a lot of business do now. Instead, you email back and forth endlessly with one of their schedulers who keeps putting you on for a time you already said does not work. Why the back and forth? Couldn't they even just send you multiple available times and let you choose? It would definitely improve the customer experience and probably be less of a PIA for their employees too. read more

I like Infinity as much as you can like anything that involves lasering the hair follicles in your armpits. I'd only tried one session of laser hair removal before, at a different spa, and found the type of laser here to be less painful. I did 8sessions and the results are minimal, when doing the Brazilian they focus a lot more on the top than the entire area and now I'm left with weird patches of hair. I'm impressed by this Establishment. With the issue of Safety looming over our heads, going to get serviced on or close to your face can be a bit scary. But as soon as you walk in, there are Disinfecting products you can use to add that extra level of safety to put your mind at ease. Their waiting area is So Spacious. Definitely no issues with social distancing while indoors. The Front Desk were very friendly and accommodated me to get my treatment as soon as I checked in. When I first called to check the soonest availability with a Groupon I was told over and over to sign the consent form first although I'm asking what's the soonest availability. When my question was finally answered I asked why do we have to sign the form before calling in to make an actual appointment when it's always a requirement to sign before the actual appointment? I don't know what she said because I zoned out as I realized her response didn't matter. I couldn't make the appointment or sign the form as I was leaving out and decided to do so the next day. After the appointment was made, I realized I planned something around the same time and tried to call and reschedule. After the 4th reminder of my appointment in 4 days, I remembered to call them. I called 6x before someone actually answered the phone. For some reason the 3x I did have to call it's the same thing every time. You have to keep calling back to talk to someone. Forbid you ask people to do their job. I also wasn't too pleased with the type of laser they use. They use diode but I prefer the ND Yag. I had a couple of appointments before the shutdown and just ended up getting refunded for the remainder. read more

I have been going to Infinity Spa since before pandemic, I have done lower body, underarm, face. I have seen great results especially on my legs and underarm, so much so that I barely shave anymore. But all that aside, they are so flexible and accommodating with scheduling and appointment's and the technicians are really professional and helpful. Hi, so I had purchased 8 laser hair removal sessions on living social for this place. I just finished my last session in February, and am very disappointed that my hair has fully returned to growing back the way it did before I had my sessions. And I know why it didn't work well at this location. The first 3 appointments that I had (they are 6 weeks apart, each one), I was amazed that it didn't hurt at all! It was cold and painless. Now I had laser hair removal before at another location called Skin Spa, and it was REALLY painful! It hurt a lot at this previous location. Therefore, when I first had my session at Infinity Laser Spa, I was shocked. And almost concerned that they had not done it right due to the lack of pain. When you first go, they try to sell you a whole body package of about $1500. They insist on you getting the package. They insisted the first 3 times on purchasing this package, and all 3 times my experience was painless. On the 4th visit, they no longer tried to push the full body laser hair removal, and then the sessions started to hurt. They started to increase the strength of the laser. By my 7th session, it started to feel as painful as it did at the previous location I had visited. I did not start to see a difference in hair growth until about my 6th session. I feel I was ripped off, they wasted the first 3 sessions trying to market the "painless" laser hair removal and trying to get me to purchase the full body. That I wasn't receiving the laser hair removal as I should have. Therefore it wasn't as effective. I feel I could honestly say that I had 3 sessions where the laser hair removal made a difference. The other sessions I was scammed out of it by their marketing trap. My hair now has fully grown back in both areas that I did at this location, and I am back to having to shave on a regular basis. So this was a waste of time. On the other hand, when I had gone to Skin Spa, the location in which it was painful, I had only received 3 sessions of laser hair removal there, and my hair in that area has still not grown back. That is not even the recommended amount of sessions. Everyone always recommends at least 6 sessions per area. I only had 3 at Skin Spa, and my hair never grew back. Where as I had "8" at infinity laser spa, and it looks like I never did anything to that area. In terms of decor, the place is very nice and the ladies there are all very friendly. If management didn't force them to falsely sell full body laser hair removal treatments, and if they actually did the laser hair removal correctly from the first session, this place would have received 5 stars. I saw that Sam R. Of Infinity Laser Spa had commented that this was a fake review because she didn't see an "Issy" on file. I just wanted to clarify, this is not a fake review, and Issy is my nickname, I had given them my full legal name as it appears on my license. I've been getting laser here for a while because the results are AWESOME!! The spa is open and clean, the front desk staff is welcoming and accommodating. The technicians are always gentle and professional. I saw results after my first session, got addicted, and now I keep coming back to do new areas lol. They have the newest machines (with cool air and no gel) or you have the option of sticking with their original gel machines. So hope that's enough info for you to look me up. I am not a sponsor of Bared Monkey. I only went there for 6 sessions on underarms because they had a Groupon discount. Like I said, the male Brazilian is a complex area to treat, so it's possible that maybe it was too complicated of an area and maybe your techs are better treating other areas that are more commonly treated. But still, the service should not be offered if the techs at your spa don't have the proper skills for it. Places like Bared Monkey don't offer it for that reason, hence why I came to Infinity. I got charged over $1,000 plus tax for six sessions of Mankini and got little to no results, with MANY missed spots. My review still stands. I was unable to complete my package prior to the expiration date and I had two sessions left. I did explain to the manager (Nicole) that I am a healthcare worker and I was constantly exposed to COVID19 which is the reason why there were several gaps in my visits (however, clearly management does not care for the protection/health of their workers).When I attempted to schedule a session, the manager did not honor my request, even if it was for one session.
