So wherever Amy goes, I go as well. Natura is very clean, modern, and spacious. I came here for the first time on Friday morning, and was very pleased by the experience I had gotten. I was also very pleased to see many faces aside from Amy -- including Anita Aunty, and Sweta Aunty. I got my haircut the same as always, then I got my eyebrows threaded, and my underarms and arms waxed. They are very reasonably priced for essentially every service, are extremely clean, and really good about making appointments. Anita Aunty is so good at threading and waxing that it never even hurts. They are also very meticulous, and will make sure that there aren't hairs that they missed. Anyway, obviously I will be back. I am a loyal customer and feel like family since I have been seeing the people that work here for my entire life. Glad they opened Natura!!

I see great reviews of her on this website. She did great work, but they decided to get rid of her anyway AND EWC did not even have the courtesy to sign off on her paper to submit to the state to obtain her license. The requirement for this is 1 month; she was employed almost 7. The state requirement is to work for 1 month and be proficient in "temporary hair removal". The state form does not mention anything about how much she needed to sell or pre-book. Shame on EWC. They take advantage of their employees. She never called out; she covered other peoples shifts; even sometimes did not take breaks in which she almost passed out one day. I am filing a complaint with the State......stay tuned. Oh and did I mention that there was no accruals for sick time on her pay stubs. I thought sick time was for full time and part time employees.....

I also used facial depilatory creams which would leave me with rashes on my face and waxing which would leave me red for days and never fully do the job. Mary Ann put me at ease immediately, talked me through my first treatment and helps me feel comfortable every time I am in her office (it's a spa-like setting, so relaxing as well). I started off with 30 min treatments twice a month and now, one year later, am at 10 minutes once a month, never touch tweezers and am seeing fewer and fewer hairs (definitely in the 90% less range) and they are lighter, finer and much less visible. I wish I had contacted Mary Ann years ago!!!

My…read moreeyebrows does not require a lot of work because I just literally do a clean up and they do a good job not "thinning" my brows. The pricing is also super affordable. I cannot speak much for their ability to do certain shapes and styles outside of just "clean up." Cash is better as I believe there is a small fee when using card. I've had my bangs trimmed here and I am not as happy about it as I'd like. I actually ended up learning trimming my own bangs and I like my result better. So when it comes to hair, I will agree with a lot of reviewers here that this might not be the most ideal place for it. However, I have not received a full haircut here and I do not think I plan to. Workers here are very nice though!

Do NOT visit this practice unless you trust someone unqualified and inexperienced with your face…read more I visited Dr. Niu back in March 2025 for a simple cortisone shot, which I have had countless times before with other practitioners, and she was clearly inexperienced and unqualified to perform this service. Not only was she unable to give me the results that are expected from injecting a nodule pimple with a cortisone shot (the whole point in paying for the shot is to see flattening within 48 hours), but even worse - her technique was so shockingly poor that it caused severe fat atrophy in the entire area on my face. This has left an EXTREMELY noticeable dent in my face for several months that I now had to visit two separate med spas for consultations and ultimately had to pay $900 for a syringe of filler to see a slight resolution in the damage she caused. When I initially reached out to Dr. Niu about my concern of this divot due to fat atrophy in April 2025, she was extremely dismissive and took no accountability for the negative side-effect of her work. She mentioned that she had already provided me a refund (which was false because she had only given me a PARTIAL refund) and did not offer to fix the problem that she had created. The partial refund she gave me did not even begin to cover the amount of money I had to spend to fix this. I have pictures of the damage she caused as well as my text messages with her that show how unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive she was throughout the experience. Obviously this was distressing and disheartening for me as a patient. She is not a trustworthy or skilled practitioner and a simple conversation with her will prove that she's not confident speaking to a lot of the procedures she offers. I regret going against my intuition and trusting her anyway. She deletes her bad reviews and the one or two bad reviews that I have seen on here, she has replied to in an immature and dismissive manner that would not be expected from a true professional doctor. I am reporting her to the New Jersey Medical Licensing Board because this is absolutely unacceptable and I don't want other women to go through what I did. If you have also experienced this and seen that your review was somehow removed by her, I urge you to do the same.

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to ADELA for a SIMPLE BLOWOUT and…read morewalked out with more than half of my luscious curly hair GONE and chemical burns all over my scalp. All of this happened within a matter of minutes. YES minutes. I didn't make it past the washing before storming out of the salon with my hair dripping wet. It wasn't until I got home and took a shower that I realized she shampooed my hair with BLEACH because my eyes were on FIRE. I had never seen ADELA before, but she reassured me that she could work with my hair type, which WAS thick and curly. Little did I know, this woman would take vengeance upon my scalp. As she scrubbed my hair with pounds of shampoo (my hair was clean mind you) she dug her nasty fingernails into my scalp even after I made it very clear that she was hurting me. My once luscious, black, bouncy curls are now thin, frayed, and dry. My ends are red and my overall head is a light brown with blonde wire streaks. NOT TO MENTION THE CHEMICAL BURNS induced by BLEACH being rigorously scrubbed against my scalp and HAIRLINE. Who knows if my hair will grow back since she killed it at the roots, but one thing is for sure--GOD was on my side when I stood up and left with wet sopping hair. Never even got the blowout, but I'm sure ADELA would have loved to finish the job with hair pulling and hot ironing tools. One piece of advice, NEVER trust a stranger with your hair and ALWAYS follow your instincts when you feel something isn't right. Getting your hair done should never be painful.
