The pain from the procedure is minimal(I did my neck) and the aftercare steps are very clear. The place is of course licensed and won awards before which you can see for yourself when you go in. During one of my sessions, I was severely burned in a specific area, which was very painful. The injury made me lose trust in the amount of safety I had during treatments. I am unsure still why it occurred because I was told that the puss open wound, was due to a hair that was ingrown and became infected... which I quickly learned was not what was going on. In addition, I felt uncomfortable with the staffing of technicians situation. While many other females worked there, there was only one laser technician available, and he was male. He performs Brazilian laser hair removal on female clients, but when I checked the website after a few treatments and curiosity, did not offer the same service to male clients, which in hindsight sight felt unprofessional and inappropriate to me being that if a female wants a Brazilian, she has no choice but to have a male technician. An hour before my appointments, I applied numbing cream on my bikini line and my entire Brazilian area with plastic wrap over the areas. At the beginning of my appointment, he wiped my numbing cream off from my Brazilian area very invasively without even asking if I was okay with that or giving me the option if I could wipe it myself before the lasering. The reason could be so he removes all of the product off completely before lasering, but with ONLY a male tech available and as a female patient who is basically blindfolded being touched in that vulnerable way, I should have 100% been given more options for my comfort. I was asked to remove my bra while wearing a medical gown that opens in the front. The laser treatment was only for my underarms, and the area was fully accessible through the sides/sleeves of the gown. There was no medical reason for me to remove my bra. As a result, my chest was exposed, which made me feel very uncomfortable and vulnerable. This situation felt completely unnecessary, and it could have been easily avoided. Between the physical injury and the discomfort surrounding the treatment environment, I chose not to return again. I would strongly encourage others considering this spa to think about your comfortability levels when getting vulnerable areas lasered by a male technician, to ask detailed questions about safety protocols, and how client comfort is prioritized before making an appointment.

Feels like a living room but still had the feeling of sterility that you want at a doctor's office. Within 10 minutes of arriving they led me to the "numbing room" which is a little nook where they put numbing cream on you and leave you to let it sit. Except... they left me in there for over half an hour. No one came by to explain the wait. I thought they forgot about me! Once I finally got to see Marla, she was very direct and explained things beautifully. She explained the risks and what to expect over the next few days along with what to do and what not to do. She took before and after pictures to compare. Her process is very good, though she does come off a little rude. But hey, I'm not there to make friends I'm there to get work done. After the appointment I was given an aftercare instruction sheet that reiterated what I was previously told by Marla. Very helpful. However, I'm not thrilled with the job she did filling my lips. It's not a botched job, it was only 1ml and was fairly evenly placed. If you look at the girls in the office, (including Marla as she fills her own lips) you'll get an idea of how your filler will look. I think she gave me a little too much of a "beak" that is more obvious when I tilt my head down. Also, she told me not to massage any bumps I feel as those are bruising, and to not listen to people on the internet saying its filler, that I could ruin her work if I did massage it. Guys. Listen. IT IS FILLER. If you dont massage out the bumps in the first few days you will have them for MONTHS. (leave it alone the first 2 days as you'll be pretty swollen and won't know what's what) The bumps that come from bruising feel different. You'll know the difference around day 3 to 7. So now the filler is fading (quicker than it should be but that's not necessarily her fault) and yet I still have the bumps. The bumps are not visible to others, but I can feel them with my tongue. Over all she did alright. It's a nice place and I may come back for other services, but not lip fillers.

Unfortunately she retired and I saw Dr Curtis. After 1 visit I will never go back to this practice again. Horrible bedside manner, would not let me talk about my history or the issues I was concerned about- total malpractice. She did not apply lidocaine properly prior before removing my moles and then Didn't care that when she cauterized my wound that I felt every bit of it. Cannot ever recommend them again.
