Scheduled a consult for Lipo and the day before my Appointment I get a "screening" call and was told The Dr, will NOT perform ANY procedures on a person who previously had services with a different Dr. Perhaps Reflections should state this "disclaimer" on their website!!! It's quite disappointing because Reflections was highly recommended yet they refuse to service those who chose to go with a previous Dr and service other than them. I got the smooth beam and V beam THREE TIMES, exactly 4 weeks apart and I hardly saw results. I told the physician about how i was feeling and she didn't make me feel better at all. I paid $1200 total for these procedures and was going to move forward with micro needling with PRP but the doctor said she thought i would not be happy with my results since i complained about the smooth beam and v beam. yes my acne scars are not horrible but i would have liked to see improvement for $1200. And for the doctor to now be empathetic and to tell me my skin isn't bad was annoying. maybe offer something instead, i am the customer. If you want to see improvement with your acne and acne scars do not come to this place. They contacted me and didn't really offer me anything, then asked me to take this post down, like really?! read more

As a patient of Reflections, I am extremely disappointed of their treatment to their patients, including rude customer service and lack of respect for their time. After this incident happening to me today for the second time, I will no longer be going there. The staff is completely incompetent. I came 15 minutes early for my appointment and phoned in to inform them that I was waiting in my car. After waiting for 45 minutes I called again to see what the status and hold up was. She very rudely told me that no one checked me in and that unfortunately I just had to wait longer now. No apologies, no explanation. Completely unbelievable as this is the second time that this happened to me. Again, They were rude , unprofessional and completely inconsiderate of their patients time. Very disappointing to have driven 1 hour round trip to be made to wait 90 minutes in the waiting room for my consultation which should have only taken 15 minutes. I left without even meeting the doctor. Not even a follow up call or email from them. I'm a working mom and it took moving a lot of pieces and other people helping me in order for me to be able to make it to this appointment. I can say the woman who ended up trying to help me was very nice and I can tell she was trying to pick up the dropped ball, but waiting in that room for a doctor for 90 minutes was just unacceptable. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. I don't need a warm and cuddly bedside manner and I appreciate when people get to the point. However, Dr. Wix-Harris' approach was flippant and borderline patronizing. I went in for a consultation on cleaning up severe acne scarring. She constantly talked over me and very obviously wanted to be done with the consultation as soon as possible. We reached a point in the conversation where what I thought would be the treatment plan (apparently) wasn't a viable option and she had no alternative suggestions. There was no "we can do this when the acne clears up" or "we can't do this, but we might be able to do that". The only suggestion she had was treatment for the acne itself which was not at all what I went in for (I already have a dermatologist I trust for this), and said the option we were discussing wasn't an option for after the acne was under control. Whether or not there are other treatment options available is not the point I'm making. At no point did she actually say anything close to "there are no other options", leaving me to continue asking questions she obviously didn't want to answer. I don't even think she fully understood the basic questions I was asking considering she thought I wanted her to essentially give me new skin and make it look like the acne never happened. This isn't an bad review because I didn't like the information I was given. This is a bad review because the person I expected to be a medical professional was anything but. She just wants to give bored boomer housewives liposuction. read more

I had a great experience at this center. Upon arrival there was barely any wait time before I was taken in for a consultation by a staff member who was very attentive and informative. After that initial meeting, I met with Dr. Chasin who assessed my situation and educated me about what the best possible options where. I loved that he actually took the time to talk me through his rationale. He was very professional and extremely personable and I felt at ease with him and his staff. This center does not try to "sell" you things, they simply give you options with ZERO pressure. This place is a class act and the Dr and staff work great together. This review in particular is in regards to their tattoo removal services. Every time I come to this facility I am in and out in less than 45 mins. The building itself is beautiful, they have a nice waiting area with good coffee, which is always a great way to gain my patronage! Prices are reasonable for removal- it's based on the size of the piece in question, which I believe is standard practice across the board. Plus, you get a nice discount if you're a new customer on your first session. I am delighted with Dr. Harris, who took over my sessions after I had a hypertrophic reaction the first time around with another physician. Not only did she save me from permanent scarring, she also found the right laser to use on my sensitive skin so I can resume treatment. I can't thank her enough. Check them out! read more

Positives: knowledgeable physician, up to date treatments, clean and nicely decorated office. Negatives: long wait times in patient room, support staff seem disorganized and inexperienced. Long story short, I had two costly facial treatments. I waited with numbing cream for over an hour and a half each time. The medical assistants had to stick me 4x to get my blood. They did not seem experienced, even though they said they have this procedure several times a week. Each time I went to pay , the front desk charged me $400 extra ( I had only gotten part of the treatment and was quoted a lesser price ). Ultimately it was adjusted each time. The doctors there used to be very nice but twice they have refused giving me filler, instead insisting I get a face lift or surgical procedure. I made a consultation for the baby hairs on my side burn ( not awful to begin with but just something that has bothered me.) they told me i would need 6 sessions. After the first few sessions hair was still growing in pretty patchy which is understandable Since i am still not done with the treatment. I finished the 6 sessions. AND THE HAIR WAS STILL GROWING IN WEIRD AND PATCHY. I ended up paying $1200 for 8 SESSIONS. (At this point i just want the hair OFF) and still have the hair grow back as if she missed CHUNKS. it honestly looks worse than when it started. My bf can't help but point it out all the time because it's so noticeable and looks unnatural. I feel awful. And can't help but think it looks so ugly. I can't even wear my hair up the way i used too. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't come here for laser hair removal. I WASTED over a thousand dollars. read more

I went here for the 1st of 4 EmSculpt Sessions yesterday. The office is absolutely beautiful and walking in you immediately feel a sense of "zen". I was nervous about what to expect before, during, and after this treatment and felt comfortable to ask the technician all of my questions. She not only answered them honestly but since she had done this treatment herself, she gave me great insight on what to expect. I'm really looking forward to the next 3 sessions! I went for a consultation and laser hair removal treatment. The doctor was non-commital and spoke in a very uninterested manner to me. First try, she burnt my face. Even worse, she did not apologize until I called her out. This was a very unpleasant experience and I walked out with a weeping burn on my cheekbone. I received a facial there and the aesthetician, who seemed informative, spoke incessantly. Part of receiving a facial is the relaxation part, but given this woman spoke non-stop, it was challenging to enjoy the facial. Not to mention when I went to pay, I was told it cost an incremental amount since the aesthetician used a special machine. Give the customer the option beforehand - that part seemed sketchy which contradicts the whole style and decor of the place. Be up front about pricing because you'll ruin a customer's first impression and they'll never come back. read more

Avoid this place - just keeps declining in service. Shoddy services, high turnover in staff, inconsistent Doctors, and long waits unless you're a new customer who then they take right. Doctors seem to keep being out or changing. Plus they are so hard to get an appointment with; between being put on hold every time I call + no way to schedule online it's frustrating. I had Rosacea and had a series of IPL done. During the first two treatments the setting was lower so I had a normal response with just some redness which faded. I had enlarged pores on nose at the time. On the third treatment the MD recommended to go to a higher setting to get rid of red veins on side of nose. Little did I know, after the treatment I was left with HUGE pores all over my nose and even my cheeks till this day, 1 year later. my cheek texture resemble a orange peel skin and the pores on my nose is even worse. During 3rd procedure it was so painful and my face was burning. The MD should have stopped when she saw how big my pores became during treatment as I saw immediately after treatment. I went in days after to complain that he IPL has damaged my skin and another MD stated that it doesn't do that, but clearly my pores have enlarged and the texture is horrible. I found other cases of IPL causing enlarged pores online with high setting and this can actually do more harm on higher setting. On top of that I was on doxycycline which is photosensitive, and the MD should not have gone to the high setting. now I have to go through treatment to fix it read more

If i could give this place a negative rating i would! NEVER GO HERE FOR ANY FACIAL TREATMENT BY KRISTEN LUPOLI, MD. Reflections, Center for Skin and Body seriously needs to get rid of her. I had laser treatments done on my face for acne scaring and instead of making things clear and smooth, Kristen Lupoli severely burned my face resulting in blisters, which later left deep scaring in places i never had scaring before. I came in to be examined. She took more pictures and said it was normal. Believing her i did one more treatment. It was even worse! I came back to show the damage she has done on me and demanded to see the before pictures to show her how horrible of a job she did and get my money back. The staff claimed they lost them and had the absurdity to try and sell me another laser treatment package! DO NOT GET TREATMENTS HERE! its expensive and damaging. I had been going back and forth on the Axilase procedure for more than a year when a month ago I decided to go for it. I knew this would be the facility for me; because of their reputation, cutting edge procedures, and price. They made the entire process as painless as possible. My Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) was the best! She was with me during this entire journey. She sent all the documents I needed and gave me blow by blow on what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. And a week later she followed up with me to find out how my recovery was going. When I arrived at the Martinsville location the atmosphere was calming almost spa like and everyone was super friendly. They are very good at addressing any needs or concerns you may have. Today was my first day at reflections. I am very impressed by the service at the front desk as well as by the esthetician Robin. She was very polite and gave me time to explain my skin condition. She did not try to sell me on any products or services but rather just suggested what would work best for my skin type. I got a micro dermabrasion followed by a red blue light session. She did a thorough dermabrasion and targeted troubled areas twice. My skin looks great with just this one session. Robin recommended I give least a 4 week gap before my next session. From my past experiences ,most places ask you to come back sooner ( probably a money making tactic) but Robin was at least honest. To top it all, the place is immaculate and tastefully decorated. Dr Chasin made a mistake on filler. I went back and I explained the mistake. He sat me down to look at it and started to rub my right cheek(the opposite) side of the mistake like a total creeper. In a manner of calm down..I look over at the nurse she's in another world not looking.
