I have a close friend who had some work done and since I would always mention to her that I wish to enhance my lips, she went ahead and actually referred me here. I had a plastic surgery, facelift scheduled. I paid for it, almost $15,000. I was never told all the glory details until the morning of my surgery. I was never told him ahead of time about the drains, that I would have to milk them because one didn't want the blood to clog up in the drain or the tubes going from the back of your neck to your drain bubble ball at the end. I was never told ahead of time that I would have to empty them of blood. I was never told ahead of time that I need to have backs racing at home. I was never told ahead of time that I need to have ice packs. Which none of this did I have ready at home. I was nervous about my surgery and when I heard about the drains etc I backed out of the surgery. My suggestion is read the fine print before you sign anything. And while I signed all of the paperwork including if I backed out or canceled or rescheduled 3 days prior to surgery I would be responsible for half the payment 7450. While I paid almost $6,000 in cash, charged $9,000 on my Care credit card. It seems to me that almost $6,000 would have been enough to cover everything that I had canceled. But Dr Miller stop by the paperwork that I signed and only gave me half. My suggestion is if you're going to have a facelift, find a plastic surgeon that has you spend the first night in the hospital or in a nursing facility. I went for Botox. They have promotions on Groupon and the price is great. I called for the appointment and staff were very friendly to fit me in. I received more Botox than my usual and I got the best Botox result I ever got and with the promotion price, I did spent exactly the same as I usually did.
