I have been going to Nisha for about 5 months now and my eyebrows have changed drastically. Before I met her my brows were boxy and short, I've always had thick eyebrows but she has helped me with the shape I've been wanting! I am obsessed with my eyebrows, they are so full and beautiful. I highly recommend Nisha, she is so sweet and on top of her game!! So happy I found her. Thank you!! read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Used to go here all the time but stopped by the other day for an eyebrow threading. Service was HORRIBLE. The woman who threaded my brows was dismissive and rude and when she rubbed lotion at the end after the threading she basically rubbed it all over my eyes instead of just my brows. She didn't wipe away any of the stray brow hairs so I left with little hairs all over my face. She was rude from start to finish. I am never going back here. I've been going to Brow Zone for laser on my face for about 6 months and the results are truly incredible. Each session, there's less and less hair. Nisha is wonderful and very knowledgeable! They also do wonderful brow threading/tinting and eyelash extensions at this salon! Highly recommend. read more

I went in yesterday to get my a few services done, eyebrows, upper lip and massage and Marina assisted me she was amazing! I also loved that every seat was wiped down with alcohol after every client which is very sanitary. I haven't done my eyebrows In a long time and marina did them beautifully!!! Her massage was also great! She also does lashes, haven't done that yet but I plan on soon she showed me pictures and they look stunning! I recommend Marina!! Thank you Brow Zone! read more

Horrible experience. The lady who threaded my brows did it so slow which made it even more painful and I have cuts all over my brows now which has never happened before at other brow salons. read more

Excellent!!! Yasmeen is the absolute best!! She is kind, patient and very detailed with her work!! I would absolutely recommend anyone to Brow Zone and especially Yasmeen!!!! read more

What I wanted: A super-smooth, unibrow and blond mustache-free visage before my cousin's wedding. What I needed: An inexpensive full face threading job - but with an upper-lip wax (cause threading just hurts TOO.DAMN.MUCH in that area) What I got: A super-smooth and hair-free face (I really do believe that threading exfoliates a lil bit) for approximately 3 days. Then came the zits; icky lil white pimples, but only all along my jawline and psuedo-side burns that were clearly not my usual "time-o'-the-month" breakouts. What I did: Ran to my dermatologist, who prescribed a mild anti-bio I took for 2 weeks. What I think: I will *ONLY* come back for brow threading (since that's the only area that didn't break out) if; 1- I'm in Union Square 2- I'm desperate 3- I'm already on anti-bios for something else. read more

I had my eyebrow and upper lip threaded on Friday. Absolutely a horrible experience. They gave me a huge cut. See picture. No not recommend. read more

Brows Zone - Laser Hair Removal Near Me - New York, New York

The good: Location Timeliness Price The extra face massage that I got with my eyebrow wax The bad: No tables to lay down on, waxing happens in a chair The ladies here will give you tiny eyebrows regardless of what you ask for. I probably won't come back, but can definitely see why people come here. It's very convenient, quick, cheap. But I can't go out into the world with my eyebrows all messed up. read more

I highly recommend trying out Brow Zone and the laser treatment is such a lifesaver too. I've been going to see Usha for waxes and eyebrow threading for a couple of years now and she is amazing! About nine months ago, she recommended that I try out their laser hair removal treatment. I had always been pretty skeptical about laser hair removal as I wasn't sure about if efficacy - getting my treatments done at Brow Zone definitely changed that experience! I highly recommend trying out the laser hair removal - it has made such a difference! My skin is incredibly smooth now and I don't have any ingrown hairs. I've gotten treatments in 4 different areas over the past 9 months and each time the results have been amazing - and the hair re-growth is very little! Money well spent. read more

I'm a big critic when it comes to eyebrows. Especially threading. But Yasmine at Brows Zone is AMAZING!! My eyebrows look amazing wonderful every time. She's quick and always does the absolute best job. I've YET to find a better place in the city for threading/eyebrows and their facials are amazing too!! read more

I just went here for the first time and it was a very pleasant experience. It was my first time threading and I must say I am hooked. My brows look awesome! The lady who served me was very nice too. I would recommend this place to anyone. $8 - you can't beat it! PS) Terrible how the place next door also put an easel outside their salon advertising that they do threading. They placed the easel directly in front of the easel this place had out, blocking it completely. read more

I use Brows Zone for my laser hair removal. It is fantastic. Dilshad is really thorough at explaining what she is doing and very gentle with the procedure. I also really love how painless the hair removal is! I've done laser hair removal twice before at other places, and it always hurt. I would use a numbing cream. You don't need to do that at Brows Zone. It has a cooling water spray, so it just feels like a small prick or tingle. No pain. And you are dry at the end - you don't get wet. It also has a wide coverage, which means that it is only a few clicks and you are done. I also didn't have to worry about any discoloration. The laser that Brows Zone has is great for my darker complexion. I was a little anxious, so we did a test patch first to make sure it was okay. They were also willing to start at a lower level of energy and work my way up gradually to a stronger laser as I got more comfortable. I highly recommend this place and the prices are better than other places - especially with the package. It only takes like 6 sessions and you are done. read more

Nisha is great! I recently got a facial which was amazing, it left my skin feeling clean and supple. I started going here over a year ago, for waxing after a few visits one of the aestheticians recommended laser treatment. Nisha conducted all sessions with professionalism and a kind touch. She addressed all of my concerns and made sure I felt comfortable in each session. Highly recommended! read more

After reading some reviews I decided (out of pure desperation) to give this place a try. I usually go up to Unique Threading Salon up on 23rd and 6th, but I didn't have the time, and figured: How bad can it be? Maybe I am simply spoiled by the amazing service, and good princes at unique... Because I was not impressed. The service was quick, which was great, and the woman who did my eyebrows didnt ruin them.. another plus. However, I was never given a mirror to inspect her work, and had to get up and go to the mirror on the wall, and when I asked her to get a few hairs she missed, she sat me back down and got a few more hairs.. they however were not the ones I asked her for. All in all, I felt like I was being rushed out of there, and when I did a closer inspection that night when I got home, my eyebrows looked as though I got them done a week ago and they were just starting to grow back. Lesson Learned: Stick with Unique. PS: Ignore the sign outside that advertises $5 threading... if you ask about it they will tell you its from 12-3 (but they leave it out at 7pm and conveniently have not time listed on the sign... ) read more

For a year or so I was on Accutane because my skin was riddled with acne. Now the RX helped but it makes your skin very sensitive and waxing especially on your face is not a good idea. Someone suggested I try threading. I have no idea how these women learn to do this but somehow it works. They manipulate the thread taking out each hair and some say it gives greater control over the shape. It does smart-the discomfort lasting longer than one rip of a wax strip but if your skin is sensitive it might be worth investigating threading. One downside is that it doesn't last that long-I have heard this is because the hairs are being broken off at the surface and not ripped out at the root which waxing does. So the results don't last that long. I have been here about 12 times and am satisfied with the service have never had to wait and have not had other services even mentioned to me. It is about 400 feet from where I work so that's convenient as well. read more

Thank you Yasmeen for taking such good care of me! After 2 years of no waxing, a deep bikini with even less pain than expected. The help of 2 ibuprofen and your patient hands. Definitely will be seeing you every 3-4 weeks! read more

They did an amazing job on my lashes and eyebrows I will definitely be returning and getting them done again!!! :)

Nisha is amazing!! I have tried so many laser hair removal places in NYC and she is the best--so much attention to detail and very knowledgeable in the field. Took extensive time to explain the procedure step by step as well as after-care. Also, the laser itself is significantly higher quality and provides much more optimal results. Even areas I previously tried to get lasered with subpar results, she was able to fix and I noticed dramatic improvement after just one visit. Definitely plan on coming back here for all future laser and eyebrows needs! read more

Nisha is the best! She's very patient and will always take good care of you. She gives good advice as what is the best brow shape for your face. She also always recommend the monthly deals so you can save some money. She takes her time with you and she's absolutely the best. I would recommend making an appointment because she's always busy and has a lot of appointments, but if you walk in, she's definitely worth the wait! :) read more

I usually go to an eyebrow threading place in Jackson Heights but I found myself with half an hour to kill in the Union Square area, so when I saw their sign outside, I figured, hey why not get my brows done while I'm waiting? For a first-timer to this particular salon, I was pleased. There were a couple of people ahead of me, but the wait wasn't long. I was happy with the threading: she didn't overdo it and gave me chances to check out if I was all right with her work. It's good to have another option for a threading place in the city. I don't mind trekking out to Queens but the Brow Zone ladies have my vote of confidence. read more

Come here to do my brows religiously. After coming here, I'm usually good for at least 3 months and that's without even stretching it. The shop is small but clean. Coming here while it's crowded might be a nightmare if you're claustrophobic because the chairs for waiting are literally right behind where people sit getting their eyebrows done. The service makes me overlook all that though. Great eyebrows in a central location for only $7? Can't be beat. Also, make sure you get the discount card. I believe it's 11 visits and the 12th one is free. Who doesn't like freebies? read more

Eyebrow threading here is fast, convenient, and does the job of trimming and shaping. Service is good. But the threading hurts like hell... sigh. read more

I went in for a Brazilian but wasn't looking to pay too much. The woman behind the counter did me a great favor of honoring a recent Groupon price although the offer had expired. Yasmin (ask for her!) did my wax and she made a usually excruciating experience one where we chatted and laughed the whole time. She was quick, efficient, friendly and really made it almost painless (besides the actual physical pain, of course). I would absolutely come back here again! read more

If you care about having full brows, don't risk it here! Head up to Unique to 23rd. I went here once and they made very naturally full brows extremely thin to the point were family members were commenting and not in a good way. Ugh. My new brow lady has been trying to fix them for the past few months. Prices and the atmosphere were both fine - nothing special. read more

Yasmin did an excellent job. She is kind and cares about her work. I would definitely recommend her. The prices are good and Yasmin is a doll read more

Have been a faithful customer for years, and love the eyebrow threading service here. But Brow Zone continues to impress - today I received the most amazing facial!!!! Next time you're looking for a great facial service, definitely book with Yassmen!!! read more

Wow. I told the lady DO NOT shape my eyebrow, I just wanted my unibrow cleaned up. I want my eyebrows to be thick so I'm in the process of growing them. I told her this maybe 5 or 6 times. She says okay and then STILL shapes them and they are SO THIN and I WANT TO CRY. What a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! How are they still in business! read more

Did full face threading and waxing . It was really nice done . I will come back with no doubt .

I started coming here 2 years ago for eyebrow threading and liked it - very convenient for getting things done during my lunch break. Finally, at the new year I decided to take the plunge into laser hair removal. I absolutely love it !!! Nisha is amazing. She will put you at ease and sell you a package that really works for your needs and budget. My skin has never looked and felt better. Go in and try a test patch for free. What are you waiting for?! read more

I have always had a great experience here. I consistently walk out with well-shaped and clean eyebrows. I HIGHLY recommend this place. In response to the bad reviews about overplucking, my advice is to always be as clear as possible when it comes to the shape and thickness that you want. They have always listened to me and were happy to adjust the shape if I wanted. read more

I used to come here quite often when I was an NYU student because it was close to campus, inexpensive, and the card they give you allows you to get free threading after a few visits. I would usually ask for Deepti when she was around. Well, one day she wasn't, some other girl got thread-happy and I wound up with chola eyebrows (please Urban Dictionary this if you do not understand). It was horrible, I wanted to hide for two weeks until they grew out. I also had a few ingrowns in the process, which was not fun and really painful. I also do not like the fact that every time I would visit, I would be asked about getting a facial. Not only do I hate it when people try to sell me things I don't need, but my skin is pretty much near perfect 99.9% of the time, thanks. read more

I'm surprised about the ratings--and lack thereof, because I had a genuinely good experience here! I researched and researched about where to get my brows threaded for the first time (since I have barely any eyebrows and I'm always afraid they'll be rendered invisible after a waxing.) But honestly nothing seemed to fit; paying over 15 dollars for a five-ten minute service seems unnecessary to me. So, over the past few months I have let my brows get way out of hand, and I was on my way back home from class when I saw 'Quick Brows Zone' with a sign for $8 eyebrow threading. I admit, the name seems sketch, but as I peeked through the windows I noticed everyone inside had gorgeous eyebrows. I decided I'd been waiting too long. I'd been feelin' frumpy in my unkempt brows. I went in, after a few fleeting seconds of hesitation, and got in the queue for a threading. After about ten minutes, it was my turn. I didn't even have to tell the lady what to do. Away she went, and a few minutes later, I had fabulous eyebrows. She shaped them in a way that hey even look bigger. Brow miracle. Literally, one of the best brow shapes I've ever gotten. Plus, almost zero pain. I hate waxing because of the pain. You'd think this would feel like plucking your brows with tweezers, one by one, but it absolutely does not. Just feels like a tiny pull on your skin. A few hairs hurt momentarily, but only a few. No redness, and no sting like you get after waxing. Cheap too! $10 after tip. I am threading converted. read more

Booked a full body wax here through class pass and I was not sure what I was gonna get. But, I am pleasantly surprised by how fast and thorough Farhana was! She was super nice and made me feel super comfortable, I will be back! read more

This is for their eyebrow threading service only since I haven't tried the others. I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time a few years ago after my friend convinced me to do so. It was a good experience but since I'm low maintenance going out of my way for it wasn't worth it. Well, until one opened right next to my gym on 13th street (Crunch is no longer there) so I had no excuse. Now I do it all the time here. My recommendation is to go on the weekends for Depti, she is very sweet and in my experience it hurts less when she does it. By the way, check out their costume jewelry in the front. Some stuff is cool and inexpensive, perfect li'l accessory for a night out. Think shiny! Yes, they also have one of those cards, where if you bring it everytime you get the 12th one free. So if you're around Union Square and need to get eyebrow threading.. here's your place. read more

Thank you to Farhana for the amazing Brazilian and eye brow service! I definitely recommend going to her! Very nice and clean place! Definitely worth it! read more

I've been going to Brow Zone for eyebrow threading, eyebrow tint, & Lashes. I must say Marina is the best! I receive so many compliments on my Eyebrows & Lashes everywhere I go. Marina takes her time & pays attention to detail. read more

I used to come here to get my eyebrows done. One day I randomly decided to get a facial. Marina did it, and it was amazing!! My face was so clean, refreshed, and hydrated after. I've since moved from Manhattan, and I've tried other spas near my home, but no one else's facials compare to Marina! Her hands are heavenly. Although it's inconvenient, I'll still come all the way to Manhattan just for the facial. Top quality and reasonable price. read more
