The ambiance is clean lines, black walls, white tile etc. Patrons leave napkins/straw wrappers, things can be a bit sticky, and it doesn't seem like this is attended to all that quickly. And it's not like it's busy - every time I go in there it's empty of people. There are 2 self service kiosks to order at and thus you're not really greeted or acknowledged when you enter, which is mostly in line with the nyc norm. The tea itself I think is just okay. It is a bit pricey; everything will run you close to $8 before any substitutions or add-ins. They have some fun flavors like the raspberry hojicha. I do think that the standard bubble milk tea that they offer highlights that the tea itself isn't great quality - it's either oversteeped or just not great quality tea being used. Still, it's better than not having boba in the area.

((3.25 stars))…read more stopped by here to grab a cold brew on warm afternoon. it's a small quiet modern coffee / tea drink shop. very clean bright well-maintained interior. not much seating as it is a fairly small space--a few seats to be had. there is a touchscreen to order as this location seems to be a one-person operation as there was a single employee on-shift. ordered a cold brew with no ice. several minutes later the employee came from the back with my drink. took my drink and noticed there was a fair amount of ice in my cold brew...i mentioned to the employee that i ordered the cold brew without ice as it was an option in the order process. since the cold brew is "cold" because it is pre-batched and refrigerated, not sure why ice would be needed. she replied that this is how they make/serve it despite my order preference. it made no sense to me, but whatever..."the customer is always right" is truly dead in the touchscreen ordering era lol. the cold brew tasted fine, but i really hate when places employ these tactics to serve less cold brew and save $s by pouring ice into the cup. just use a smaller cups etc. and let the customer make the choice instead of doing tacky stuff like this. anyway, this Nitro Tea location doesn't serve a typical coffee shop menu (drip, Americanos, Cortados, etc), so you're limited to its menu of signature coffee and tea drinks. this place is fine if Nitro Tea's drinks are your jam. however, NYC is a competitive coffee and tea landscape especially in the East Village, so this place would not be my first choice in the neighborhood for caffeine. nothing is wrong with N25 Nitro Tea, but it isn't quite "my cup of tea."

When businesses are trying to market a product, they give out samples and work hard to get children excited about it. But once they have regular customers, they shouldn't start using cheap tactics to cut costs while charging people full price. Some seating are found inside ~ high stools or benches. There's no restroom for customers here. Soft serves don't have any gap in the middle. The size isn't skimped either like the Flushing location. There's no option for no ice in the drinks, you've to get it with ice. Matcha flavor isn't just green, actually tastes like matcha. Affordable + refreshing. Apparently, they sell Mixue merchandise at this location too. I'll always come back whenever I'm in the Union Square neighborhood.
