Garlic Noodle with beef
Amelia C.

Parking was easy. It's been a while since I came here to eat and I love the fact you can pick the type of noodles for your dish! Popcorn chicken was amazing. A lot of seating.

Great noodle place with affordable prices. We got garlic chicken noodle and chicken mushroom noodle soup. Garlic chicken is sweet and sour with a little bit of spice. If you like sweet and sour chicken, this dish is for you. Chicken mushroom noodle soup was a little bland. But I was sick, and this was filling, warm and heartfelt. They also gave generous amount of black mushroom, which I really like. I would not get this soup if I am not recovering from cold or not sick. Chili oil was also tasty and you can tell it's made in house. But, if you are a vegetarian or don't eat a lot of meat, your options are very limited. Service was fast and you can even scan menu and order directly through the code. Vibes are cool and we went around 4. So it was quiet and chill. We will be coming back!

Food was filling and portion sized pretty large. The noodles were definitely hand pulled and soaked up a lot of flavor. Service was decently quick and ambiance was nice overall. Definitely similar to Lanzhou noodle shops in LA. :) I do wish there were more green beans in the green bean stir fry. The seats did have some crumbs but otherwise the place was pretty clean. I definitely see how this is a nice lunch spot for families and students on a break.

Stopped in here with the wife for some fuel after a blood donation. We loved it alot! You had the choice of either ordering directly from the table via QR code or waiting for a server to come to your table. The staff was very nice and helpful. We ordered the scallion pancakes, Sichuan wonton in chili oil and the Mongolian Beef entree. Everything was delicious! The scallion pancakes were a little bit thinner than I'm used to but the flavor was great especially with the provided sauce. The noodles were excellent just the right consistency that you get out of hand-pulled noodles. The restaurant was overall very quiet and laid back. With pretty artwork and a nice vibe. The window where you can see them making the noodles was a really nice touch. Parking was a little tricky (make sure to park in back) but if you can snag a spot you don't have to worry about street parking. We'll definitely be back one of these days for more noodles!

Very cute and cozy spot in Saint Paul! Hand pulled noodles? Who can complain about that! We ordered the sichuan wonton in chili oil as an appetizer, and LOVED it! For main entree, I had the Garlic Chicken Fried Noodles, and my partner had the curry noodles. I'd go back again to try more of their menu, there was lots of options! It's also a fun addition to be able to watch the noodles get created. A little insider scoop to the process!

Garlic chicken with extra noodles

I was temporarily staying nearby so ordered out from Master noodle. Ordering was easy via their website and it looks like they deliver (by Door dash ?) as well. I ordered the steamed pork dumpling and the garlic chicken with wide noodles and extra noodles for $4 more. Was well worth it. Portion is huge, noodles are perfectly chewy. Dumplings are small but delicious and priced well. I picked up and appreciated the parking behind the building as it's on a busy street that includes the light rail .

Taiwanese Tomato Beef Brisket Noodle Soup

I ordered online for a pickup order. Things went seamlessly: by the time I arrived, my order was awaiting my arrival. There was a small parking area behind in the back, which I appreciated. There was a small dining area if you wanted to dine in which looked similar to most Asian restaurants. We ordered: - Cheese Wontons (4/5) - Scallion Pancakes (4/5) - Pan Fried Pork Dumplings (5/5) - Moo Shu Fried Noodles (4/5) - Taiwanese Tomato Beef Brisket Noodle Soup (5/5) - Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles (5/5) The ratio of veg to noodle was off on the Moo Shu Noodle dish, and it lacked seasoning or any type of sauce. It just needed something more...it was just a pile of chewy noodles. Albeit, the noodles themselves were awesome, but I found the dish lacking. The pork dumplings were among my favorites. The beef noodle soup was amazingly good. I've been meaning to try this place for a long while; I'm glad we finally tried it. I look forward to a return visit.

You know a place is incredible when you can't wait to write your help review :) I was visiting a bookstore on the same strip as Master Noodle. I had heard excellent things about their hand-pulled noods so I was keen to try them. I went for a Sichuan wonton in chilli oil and then the Sichuan dan dan noodles. What can I say? I love spicy food. The server was excellent, polite, and straightforward. I asked about the plum juice, and he told me it was overly sweet. He even brought it out for me to see that it has 51g of sugar! Anyway!!! Wontons in chili oil are good, salty, and slightly spicy. The dan dan noodles were so so good. I didn't want to put my chopsticks or bowl down until I had vacuumed everything into my stomach. Fast service, it wasn't very busy around 5pm on a Wednesday. It was clean, and it has a private parking lot in the back. I look forward to trying more items on the menu.

King Pao Fried Noodles

I have been to Master Noodle several times and love the food. I always get the scallion pancakes, they are so yummy. I tried the king pao noodles this trip and was really satisfied. Filled with veggies, chicken and peanuts, plus a large serving of noodles. The flavor is great, I wish it would have been a bit spicier. I'll remember for next time! I also really enjoy the Thai tea. The space is typically loud, but that doesn't bother me. The only complaint I have is our booth looked like it was duck taped together. Service was quick and easy.

We had a girls night out and our friend chose this place for the month. The food was super tasty and as you can tell in the photos we were hungry that most of the food is gone...lol The scallion pancakes are my favorite and I could have the eaten the whole plate of them. We also tried two new apps to us; the Szechuan wontons and the pork mini buns. They were both good, the wontons had alittle heat but nothing we couldn't handle. For my entree I got the garlic chicken fried noodles with little heat since I wasn't sure how spicy they would be, they were yummy and was a huge portion. I also got a brown sugar milk tea to drink but forgot to take a photo. The service was great, our waiter didn't mind that we sat and chatted after we finished eating. They were able to answer any questions we had and the food came out pretty fast. I can't wait to go back and try some other dishes, everything looked and smelled delicious.

This place was really good!! I loved the noodles and the bubble tea was great. Our waiter was polite and great as his job. The ambiance was warm and comfortable. We had a great date night here. Will definitely be back sometime!

After living nearby for years (and since moving), I finally made it to Master Noodle, and I can't believe it took me this long! After hearing rave reviews from friends, my husband and I decided to use this chilly Sunday as the perfect opportunity to give it a try and we were not disappointed. We'll definitely be back, probably again and again. If you're a mushroom lover, the mushroom and chicken soup is an absolute must - rich, savory, and packed with flavor. My husband was initially unsure about the braised beef ribs on the bone, as the fat might be a turn-off for some. But once he dug in, he was hooked! The meat was tender, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the sweet-savory broth, which had just the right kick of spice. It would have been nice to have some of the meat pre-chopped in the soup, but it didn't stop him from finishing every last bite! We also couldn't get enough of the dumplings. The dough was perfectly soft, and the filling was a heavenly combination of well-seasoned, tender meat. Yum! We were so impressed, we were already recommending it to friends before we even left.

Camille C.

The food was cold. We needed to ask for more tea, continuously. The dumplings were hot and good! Parking around back was easy and accessible.

No, it's peeled.

Any vegan options?

Typically hand pulled noodles are made with just flour, water and salt, so the noodles themselves should be vegan by construction. They have some vegan options in the cold dishes (Sichuan noodles), it is worthwhile to inquire with the restaurant if…

Tons of outdoor seating, and lots of places where groups of 6+ can hang out together. The inside had beautiful red mood lighting and great seating options - perfect for date night or intimate dinners. We also went on a Monday evening, and the place was not packed but decently filled - another testament to the great vibes! We got a couple drinks, an app, 2 mains and a dessert to split. We loved the Georgian cheese bread - so cheesy and our toddler loved it as well! The pear cocktail was delicious, good fall vibes. The pork medallion covered in cheese was phenomenal and big enough to split between two, and we paired that with the vareniki with chili vinegar. The vinegar was great, but we could have used a bit more salt/ tang with the dumplings. Otherwise, fantastic. The tiramisu was also delicious, not too sweet and a delicious boozy end to the meal. The patio was child friendly enough, there were no other kids but luckily the space was loud enough that when she made noise, we didn't feel too out of place. Overall, we'll definitely return!

Such a cute, cozy and divey place. The bar is adorable. You can definitely tell this is family owned. Our server was fantastic and very obviously Russian. We tried all the food--from the garden salad with the sunflower vinaigrette to pickled vegetables, borscht and the homemade dumplings. I'm not typically a huge cabbage person, but the borscht was really good. And the homemade dumplings--you won't be displeased. Ask for the chili vinegar to kick them up a notch. Everything was so good, fresh, and priced well. The drinks---way too many fun options with house infused vodkas to choose from. It was too early for a vodka flight, but I'm sure that's a fun adventure. Next time. I ordered a martini that had chocolate and pepper infused vodkas (Red October)---so strong unique and flavorful. I believe I also did the Alexander Palmer. I could have tried almost every drink on the menu. I cannot wait to come back when in MN.

If you're looking to try a dish that is uniquely Khmer, this soup is one of them. Cheng Heng's version had green beans, round green eggplants, spinach, young papaya, and kabocha squash, plus a protein choice (I chose chicken). The somlaw was hearty, and very filling. The portion was more than enough to share. I can imagine myself ordering this on a cold winter evening. I was skip the cream cheese wontons because the wonton wrappers were still doughy near the crease/fold and wasn't very flavorful. The Thai Iced Teas were really sweet so be forewarned to let your ice melt in it a bit to make it less so. Our bill came to about $70 for appetizer, two drinks, and two entrees. In terms of food, there is a mixture of Burmese, Thai, and Karen dishes, and each one that my friends and I have ordered has been a hit. The tea leaf salad has amazing texture because of peanuts and fried garlic, which provide crunchiness, and has amazing flavor because of lemon juice, fish sauce, and tomatoes. The noodle salad has a light taste without adding the given lime piece, and then the rich nutty taste gets evoked and elevated upon adding lime juice. The zaap crispy has very well-seasoned fried chicken pieces, and medium spice level gives it a good amount of flavor. The shan khao soi is so creamy and tasty that even tasting the curry broth itself is a sensational experience, and the chicken leg included literally has "fall off the bone" meat. The boat noodle has a mixture of sweetness and savor, while the sweet flavor does not overpower anything at all. Finally, the mohinga clearly has fish cake flavor and texture fully infused, making it authentically delicious. We also ordered the knyaw iced salad, which was a mixture of ice along with crackers and other types of sweet ingredients. I thought it was very similar to a type of Vietnamese dessert called chè ba màu (three color pudding), and fully enjoyed it. The establishment only had one dessert, and I thought that was sufficient. While the street contains many excellent restaurants, I personally believe that this establishment stands out in terms of taste. I must also mention that since my friends and I arrived when barely anyone else was there each time we had gone there, we never experienced any service delays that some have mentioned in their reviews. I probably will give this place a 5 rating anyway even if I experience slowness, although I hope I don't.
