This review is based on my communications via email with Gary Rickenbaker…read more I was in the market to buy a new car and I like to do all of my communications via email. I reached out to Gary and he got back to me quickly with a solid OTD number for a new vehicle. We went back and forth several times his price was very competitive but unfortunately not the lowest I received so I went with another dealer instead. Their pricing was VERY close to a competitors but they did the best they could. However, Gary was very responsive the whole time and was great to work with. I never once felt pressured or rushed to buy a car and my process took about 2-3 weeks of communication. He responded almost immediately every time and answered all questions that I had. I hope to work with him again in the future when I search for another new vehicle. Thanks Gary!!!

What they told us was that the wiring harness under the passenger seat had been chewed by a dog and needed to be replaced for $975. Looks like one of his toys had rolled under the seat and he had been trying to get it. All of our interactions with Gerald Jones have been very good. Just a warning if you have this car and a small dog.

My husband and I purchased a vehicle from here for his work commute. During the time of our…read morepurchase and test drive there had been no mechanical issues. Two months ago the check engine light went off and we fixed what the issue had shown through the series of codes. Then the check engine light came on once again and we again fixed what the issue was through the different series of codes it showed. For a third time the check engine light has come on and we were not able to see what more codes there were and it became where the car felt unsafe to drive. My husband scheduled an appointment to discuss that we no longer willing to pay payments on a vehicle that was what we believe to have been deceivingly sold to us. My husband had gone in with the intention of discussing the situation of issues that seemed to be continuously popping up and dicuss a possible trade in. The salesperson was very understanding and was doing the best he could as just a salesmen and of course he'd need to speak with the general manger and the service department. Now this is where our experience went VERY downhill. When the car had been taken into the service shop MORE codes showed up that I quote "multiple codes that were not there and hiding behind the other codes.". Which seems to my husband were codes that had been hidden or erased. Then the General Manger came out to speak with my husband, honestly he didn't even speak with my husband. What my husband encountered with this employee was absolutely unprofessional, disrespectful and arrogant. Not only was my husband not be able to directly share our needs with this employee but was denied a handshake when he went to introduce himself, had LAUGHTER and SMIRKING thrown in his face when I quote the GM stated "You can either go test drive the car you need and be flexible with your payments or leave in what you showed up in and hope it doesnt break down on the way home.". The GM didnt even have the decency to even SHAKE my husband's hand when my husband decided to leave. My husband himself had to reach out and shake the employee's hand. This dealship on the Subura side is being managed by a very disrespectful and unprofessional GM that finds it appropriate to LAUGH, SMIRKE at a customer, and not shake their hand when they came to speak about trading in a previously bought vehicle that didnt even last TWO MONTHS before throwing out code after code after code. As a customer that came in with a calm and willing to work with them to trade in a car that they bought from them with of mechanical issues and asking for a solution but instead was met with the above encounter is..honestly dont even have words for it, especially when the customer tried to end the whatever the hell you'd call that appointment by simply reaching out for a handshake and then was refused that handshake.

I only knew it was in the body shop because I pulled up at Lexus with no notice, then tracked my car to Rick's Paint and Body. I took my car there 3 Fridays ago, and gave my key to Chris, for a 15,000 miles service. I wasn't getting a call back from, so after 5 days I went to get my car. He did not come talk to me but texted someone else to tell me my car was not ready. After a few more days of no call backs, no car when I drop in, I asked for the manager. I voiced my complaint about the poor communication from Chris and the slow service. I want my car back but I have been getting the run around for 2 weeks. I asked Mickey point blank, I said the last time y'all gave me the run around about getting my car back it was because y'all wrecked, did you wreck my car again? Mickey the service manager said no. He said it does need a tire. He had the tire and the tech to change it, it won't take long. Monday, they said my car was not done, no one was available, but they would call me back . Tuesday same thing. Wednesday , I pull and demand my car. Then Chris says they scratched your car. I said I asked and yall said my car was not wrecked. Then Chris says it just happened this morning. I talked to the service manager Mickey, he told me he took my car to the body shop himself yesterday. So there is another lie, Chris just said the "scratch happened today," so why did Mickey take my car to the body shop yesterday? Why didn't Mickey call me before taking my car to the body shop? He knew I was already upset because Chris wasn't communicating. Then the service manager says he didn't know whose car it was he just got an estimate and took it to the shop. That is another lie, there are tag on the key and the mirror, and my registration is in the glove box. So they were stalling hoping to fix my car before I noticed it. This is the second time they have crashed my one of my cars. I have been a customer for more than 20 years, but I am not buying another Lexus from them because their service is terrible and all they have to say is sorry. Yeah their customer service has gotten to be very sorry over the last couple of years!
