Great place. Relatively quick (I just waited in the lobby for about 30 minutes and played my daily…read moreSudoku feed). they were very professional, friendly, intelligent and clean. Only complaint was that I specifically asked that they mount the new tires in front (front tires always wear faster because they are cambered inward to improve turning... check your front tires and you'll likely see the inner tread lower than the outer). Might also note that they installed a "Rocky Mountain" brand, which is of course an off-brand, but they seem very quiet, despite a somewhat aggressive tread. I think they're all made in Mexico these days unless they're Michelins (and who really know where those are truly made) so it's a non-issue. One more story... I went to another local tire shop in Augusta, GA (Marc Yount), and when I went to pay the bill the long-haired, rather large and fat blond-haired jet-ski hippie that owns the place told me "I'm not a fan of the tires you chose." And "you have an axle bearing leak, and I'm not sure what I'll find when we open your pumpkin" (the rear differential). The proposed charge was $2250 to fix these things. I do my own maintenance, so I checked the differential fluid and it was fine. They saw leakage of brake fluid, not differential fluid, which meant I needed to replace the brake server on one side, which I did on both sides. Total cost about $150. No axle seals needed (a major operation), and I'm writing this with over 100k more miles on the car. 4Runners are known for axle seal leaks, so they saw the brake fluid on the inside of the tires and assumed it was the axle seals without actually checking anything else. Beware of this kind of crap, and beware of Marc Yount if you're near Augusta (they're 'uber expensive) - they took me for an idiot, which I am not, but if I was an average guy or gal I'd sigh and pay that price - just to get some new tires mounted. Going back Monday morning to this Discount Tire location for the front tires. Highly recommend this place. They are quick, clean, efficient, HONEST, and won't try to snow you with BS (snow you is a Northern term). They are trustworthy. All the best to you, and thanks for reading this ridiculously long review.

If you have an EV, they can do your car, too. The people in the shop work together to get jobs completed quickly. The lobby was full, and it only took an hour to get to my car. It was estimated at an hour and a half. If you have the option, get the road Hazzard warranty. I saw a few people get their tires repaired for free because they had it. Good value and nice people.

However, when arriving to pay and pick up the car, $200 more was added to the bill for the service that was initially part of the original quote price. Needless to say, we voiced our disapproval and left. Upon arriving home, we received a call in which they apologized for not communicating the changes with us in line with their standard business practices. They explained this is not how they built their reputation and promptly refunded our credit card. Kudos for putting the customer first, it's that kind of excellent customer services in the face of a trying situation that will keep us coming back.

They are very honest and their prices are always reasonable. They never try to upsell which is honestly (for me), THE thing most people get so stressed about when visiting a repair/service center. The service team leaves our vehicle exactly as they found it with no worries about grease or dirt (other than ours, haha). We truly appreciate them and any time someone says they need tires or work done, we tell them to try this Tyler's location. Word of mouth recommendations beats out paid for advertising every time! Anyone who complains about them having the vehicle for more than a day, sometimes 2 - apparently watches too much Harry Potter! These guys are truly awesome, but they're not magicians. I would much rather someone take their time with my repair/install than to rush it because someone in the lobby is raging about them having their car for 3 hours and it not being done yet... just saying. Be reasonable - Tyler's sure is. :) We've also been to the one on Whiskey Road, but prefer the Richland Ave. location. The Dowda Family

Arrived on time, but did not get to service writer until 9:25AM, and told my vehicle would be next for the rack. After another hour and complaining, finally got my vehicle on the rack. However, person doing the alignment was not very knowledgeable and returned vehicle after 20 minutes with indication the vehicle "Failed" with the explanation the rear camber could not be adjusted due to the vehicle type. My vehicle had a lifetime agreement and on two prior visits, the adjustments were made, yet this visit appeared nothing was adjusted and a very quick and poor overall job. Mainly due to they were too busy and inadequate staff.

The young lady in the front had a serious attitude. I felt like I was interrupting their life by walking in the place. Honestly I would give them negative stars. Stay away!
