I am motivated to do an update! I'm STILL going to this place nearly four years later, and I think that's worth writing a new review for. I have had several massage therapists help me since I first started coming here, and every single one has been fantastic. My main reason for changing is that my availability does not always match what each therapist has for their schedule. My Wellness membership has been well worth the monthly price. I don't always make it in, but the credits roll over and I can use them on elevations or time extensions instead. The parking garage has changed since, you drive in, download the app (if you don't have it already) and then you can drive out. There's no scanning or paying at the gate, this place has a QR code that you can scan and that will validate your parking, and I love that. You can also give the front desk your license plate number and they'll handle it for you. It's good for about two hours which is great for when I get a 90 minute massage. You'll have time to peruse some of the rest of the area and maybe snag yourself a snack. read more

I have had several massage therapists since I first started coming here and am currently seeing Tristan on a monthly basis. He is professional and consistently provides a thorough deep tissue massage, and I always leave our sessions being able to feel both of my hands (I have an old spinal injury). I deducted a star because of the high turnover. I am very picky on who works on my spine and am tired of having first dates with new therapists. This is a nice massage parlour for a regular, no frills kinda massage. I wouldn't count it in the luxury category. The masseuse did a nice Swedish massage but I just missed some aesthetic vibes I have felt at other places. The massage bed and room were very cold that made my feet freeze even under a blanket. I don't know if they have heated beds, I was not asked if I felt comfortable with the temperature in the room or not and I'm not the kinda person who would bring it up if not asked. I also felt like enough lotion was not being used during the massage which made it a slightly uncomfortable experience, like being rubbed against dry skin. The face massage elevation felt really good though, especially with the heated towel and fragrant lotion. They validate a 3 hour parking at the nearby McBee garage. read more

The management only concerns themselves with bottom lines and making sales. You might have a wonderful experience; but remember that the front desk is being held to unreasonably sales expectations and are being WATCHED 24/7. Managers use their personal cell phones to watch these establishments constantly even from their homes.It's beyond micromanaging; I would even say harassment. As a guest; are you comfortable with being watched unknowingly?? On going stress and issues within the retreat have driven multiple therapists to leave over the past few months. Ranging from suspicions of mold to disrespectful "raises". What was once a busy and wonderful spa is now a corrupt and sickening atmosphere. Melanie, at the Mueller location, is the most talented, kind, thorough, professional, and intuitive massage therapist that I have ever worked with. From one service to the next, she remembers what I like, and she's STRONG! I have a stressful and physically demanding job, so nothing less than deep tissue works for me. I love that I don't need to ask Melanie for more pressure over and over. She can also sense where I need a lighter touch. She's perfect! The whole staff is sweet, parking is easy, and the place is clean, so it's a great experience all around. read more

I tried Massage Heights at their introductory rate, which was a great way to experience their service. The location in the Mueller area is very convenient, with free parking at Macbee, and booking an appointment was easy. The staff was friendly, though the intake process felt a bit long. As for the massage, it was just okay. I think my therapist's style didn't quite match the firm pressure I was looking for, but to be fair, I've only had one therapist--there may be others who are a better fit. The lounge, where they do the intake, isn't particularly relaxing, and there doesn't seem to be a locker room--you change in your assigned room. The introductory rate was a good deal, but I'm not sure I'll be signing up for regular sessions. read more

I've been going to Massage Heights for the past year and a half, and every visit continues to be a delightful experience. From the moment I walk in, the front desk staff is friendly and welcoming, which really sets the tone for a relaxing session. My massage therapist (shout out to Jerezareth) does an amazing job listening to my needs and customizing each session to focus on exactly what I need that day--whether it's stress relief, working out tight muscles, or just some quiet time to reset. Gabii was amazing. I had cancelled my membership but I reenrolled after seeing her today. Massage was really good and she gave me some follow up tips as well. She took time to understand what my pain points are and really helped me. The front desk staff are also great. I would say if you get a massage that's meh, ask specifically for Gabii instead. The other therapists that didn't work out well for me aren't there anymore. I have also had 2 facials, and those were both excellent. 6 months ago I was experiencing horrible pain in my neck and shoulder area. I decided that a massage could help-- and boy, did it. Leon (Luz) was incredibly effective. He honestly cured all of the tension I was feeling after two sessions. I've been going back monthly ever since, and truly believe each massage is better than the last. Not my kind of place. It feels all about the sale. They make you sit and do a five minute intake session with someone who is not the massage therapist, claiming they will pass the notes on, but then they don't and you have to retell your preferences and special areas to the massage therapist after wasting the intake time. The "hands on" massage is 10 minutes less than the time you sign up for so they can do this intake and try to upsell you on add-ons. Then they actually use the notes at the end for trying to convince you of why you should sign up for a monthly membership. I don't really appreciate the intake person referencing my "stressful lifestyle" as a reason I need monthly massages to make a sales. That's not why I gave her that information. The massage itself was fine but I didnt find the experience relaxing or personalized, yet it was spa-level prices. read more

The therapist are wonderful but the new manager is only interested in the bottom line and treats the front desk people with such disrespect that it bleeds into the whole spa! The whole family has been customers here for several years and generally we have really loved getting our massages here. Big shoutout especially to Susan. She is fantastic!!! But after working for months to get out of our memberships because we are leaving the country, I can't recommend getting one. It's incredibly hard to untangle yourself from this place without losing money, hard to get exact information on how to do it (multiple people at front desk don't know and don't go out of their way to put you in touch with someone who does) and how to use your remaining credits within the allotted time frame after you cancel. It feels scammy and the whole experience which had been great for years ended up being something I can't really recommend. read more

So sad that after a couple years of being a loyal client, I am having to burn this bridge with this company. I am moving to round rock and have to end my membership with Massage Heights. I was very sad. When I reached out, Jamie, the manager, told me that I owed money on my account and couldn't use my remaining credits until I did. I had no idea I owed money until I asked to end my contract and how many credits I have on my account. Magically, I owe them money. They have $474 of my money. I haven't been in months due to conflicts, and wanted to use as many of those credits as possible only to be told I couldn't because I need to pay to use the credits I ALREADY PAID FOR. Then, that would add another freaking credit that I cannot use because I won't be able to. I lived right down the street from this place and didn't have time to go. What makes you idiots think I can use the credits when I'm in round rock??? I have asked for my money back since this is too difficult for me to schedule anything, plus I don't think it's right to have to pay for something to access money I already paid, but unfortunately due to the agreement, they get to keep my money. Now I keep getting texts from Jamie telling me to pay so I can use my credits. I'm so over this. So not only do you have my $500 for no services rendered, I get stupid text messages even though I told them to cancel my account. Read the agreement before you sign because you don't get your money back. read more

Have been going here for a little bit over a year for massages. Mueller location is very easy to get in/out of with the parking garage (no charge). They have the best massage tables I have ever experienced. The sheets are super soft, and the table has multiple adjustments so you are very comfortable while getting worked on. Highly recommend booking with Melanie for your massage therapist! She is the absolute best! She works absolute magic and balances relaxation and getting all the knots out. Oh, I got a Groupon for a massage and elevation here. I knew it was the kind of place where they have a massage subscription/membership service. I thought to myself, "one and done. I will not get roped into a membership". Then I received my massage. Phillip might be employing magic. Like, after, my whole body feels not just better but good. He also seems to care about people stretching and taking care of their body, which isn't always discussed by massage therapists. Genuinely, he can use less pressure than most therapists (at my request), and have far better results. Can you tell how this story ends? I got a membership. I've been back twice since I signed up for it, and at first I thought, "this is too much pampering", and now I feel like, if you can afford it, a membership is a lovely thing you can do for your overall well-being. read more

Completely agree with 'Zen G's' review except my experience was worse. I specifically asked for deep tissue on my neck and shoulders plus a hot stone treatment. Had to (re-answer) all their stupid questions ("How often do you think you want to get a massage?"). Went into the room and the masseuse told me they didn't turn the stone warmer on, so would I be okay with hot towels instead. When I checked out and said something about it, the clerk said he just didn't know how to use the stones. After the hour was up, he had only worked on my right shoulder!?? So the massages here are pretty good when they are available. The problem is the membership. It's a little scammy. You can't cancel. Like period. You have to block the vendor payment on your credit card. I kept a membership for about a year. Decided I didn't need it anymore and was told verbatim that you can not cancel the membership, they just "don't have a way to cancel it". So unless you plan on paying for this for the rest of your life I'd say just get the massages on an individual basis or check out one of the other local places like massage envy. read more

I booked an introductory massage through the website. I answered multiple questions and specified that I wanted a deep tissue massage. When I arrive I'm asked to answer many questions again and specify areas that need extra attention. My masseuse was sweet but she said she couldn't do a deep tissue massage and the one I received did nothing for me. I don't think she received any information from my questionnaire like which areas needed extra attention. When I noted the lack of a deep tissue massage at the front desk on the way out, they offered to book me a real deep tissue massage at the introductory rate. That isn't enough a discount to make it worth risking another useless massage so I passed on the offer. You are probably more likely to get the massage you want if you book over the phone. read more

Took my boyfriend here for his first hot stone massage. We prepaid for the hot stone elevation and told the front desk staff that we were getting that too. Afterwards my boyfriend told me that his massage ended and the hot stones were never used on him. I was disappointed and provided feedback via email survey and was never acknowledged. I also found my masseuse to be oddly brusque for what should be a relaxing and enjoyable experience. She called my name, and when we went to the room one of the only things she said was "I'm not going to touch your face or scalp because too many people are sick. And you're getting a facial so they'll touch your face anyway." I had highlighted my scalp as a spot for the massage, and I had also highlighted my feet which weren't touched. After my massage I was taken to a different room for my facial....and after 10 minutes waiting around in the room, my facial lady found me and said it was the wrong room and then asked me to move to a different room. All the moving and having to wait lying face up in a bright room was not relaxing and ate into the time for receiving treatment. My facial lady was nice, but the treatment was very simple. This was the only facial I've ever received that did not have more advanced technology beyond simple hand tools used on my skin. I just had masks applied, a skin roller, and extractions. I was also surprised that there was no scalp massage. It was quick. I was hoping to love this place and sign up for a membership because I live so close, but the service/treatment was not relaxing or thorough. I also chose this place because of the Groupon deal for the hot stone massage and my boyfriend didn't get that. read more

ANGELICA my massage therapist was phenomenal! I walked in with a 9 rating Pain and when she applied the deep pressure throughout the session... I immediately felt relief... by the end of the hour session, I was PAIN FREE! I shed tears of joy ... and the front desk immediately extended their support! Massage Heights Mueller has great massage therapists and aestheticians. I have a membership and alternate between a massage or facial each month. It's very relaxing and just the right amount of pressure, and leaves me feeling healthier. The spa is clean and uses aromatherapy if you want it. I've always been able to get hot stones when I ask for them. I've even gotten free elevations, like a foot scrub, as compensation if an appointment is unexpectedly cancelled. I recommend this location since I haven't been to any others. read more

Loved the massage! It was my first time getting one and I was a little nervous. But as soon as I walked in and was greeted;some of that nervousness was alleviated. Plus the woman who did the massage was chill and relaxed as we eased into the massage. In turn that helped me relax. It all started with a Groupon. I had been self-conscious about my skin for sometime now. My face wasn't completely swollen with acne per se, but over the years I had noticed hyperpigmentation and a tendency for pimples to show up in the same places. I would constantly use concealer whenever I could. But even then, I just wasn't confident with my natural skin as I had been in high school. I'd been curious about getting a facial to see how it might help, and actually called several places to schedule an appointment (pre-pandemic), but none of the places I called gave me a call back. So I bought a Groupon with Massage Heights at Mueller, and had I known what would follow afterward, I would've bought it sooner. I got paired up with Ashley as my esthetician, and was immediately comforted by the fact that she specialized in treating acne. At first I was embarrassed by how bad I let many years of makeup/improper skincare mess with my face, but she reassured me that my state was normal, and not as bad as I believed. She made it her mission to help me regain my glow. I heeded by her advice after my first appointment and purchased the appropriate products for my type of skin. She also encouraged me to get the membership, because routine appointments would help bring my skin back to its natural glow. Upfront it seemed like a lot of money, but I considered it to be an investment for myself. And I knew what Ashley said was genuine. She wanted to help me. So over the past few months, even with the adjustments that had to be put in place due to the pandemic, I've been getting facials with Ashley, and I am BEYOND happy with the progress my skin has made. I have a more even skin-tone and it's hydrated. My relatives have noticed the changes too. With every visit, Ashley's been transparent about the products she's applying to my face, what they do to the skin, and why certain breakouts happen where they do. Any question I have about my skincare regimen she's answered quickly (and I have a lot of them). I've done several chemical peels with her now and she's always followed up asking how my skin is faring. Now that I'm one of her regular clients, booking appointments with her is something I always look forward to. She's not only my esthetician, she's become my friend, and I couldn't be more grateful. All that to say, give this woman a raise. She's absolutely hardworking and is passionate about helping clients feel comfortable in their own skin. Scheduled a massage here and 3 hours before I was to come in, they called me because their website doesn't cap the number of people allowed per time slot to allow for social distancing. They also acted like they were doing me a favor by waving the same day cancellation fee when this was clearly not my fault. Need to edit your website to ensure that the max number of people cannot be exceeded - other businesses can do this no problem so I don't see why this can't be done? Either way, super unprofessional. Wanted to try this place out as it's so close to my apartment, but not if it's this unreliable. Update: A manager called me to reschedule with one of their most popular masseuses. It was an amazing massage for a great deal - normal rates are very high, but may continue to go because it's so conveniently located. read more

I visited Massage Heights this past Sunday after seeing it on Groupon and realizing it's right in that new strip in Mueller and super close to where I live. They had a special for a 60 minute massage plus add on, and a 60 minute facial plus add on (they call it elevation). I booked the two appointments back to back. The spa itself is lovely- clean, organized lobby with all their products on display, and water stations. The front desks girls were awesome and talkative while I waited. They took me in promptly at noon. First up was a massage with Devon. She talked a lot to me about what was bothering me, areas i wanted focused on, pressure etc. She did an awesome job working out all my bad areas and helping me with breathing during the massage. However, because the elevation (add on) happens within the allotted time, we sort of ran out of time on the massage and I never even got to flip over. They clearly state on the Groupon that the add on will happen within the service time, but it just felt weird getting a massage where my back or legs were never even touched. In hindsight, I wish I had foregone the foot scrub and had been able to get my back done and not just pectoral region. While that's not necessarily massage heights fault, having my back done was in my initial treatment plan and it would have been nice in the session if she had updated me that we wouldn't be getting to everything we discussed versus just saying "and we are done"- and then as I was being walked to the next room I asked if my shoulders had been bad and she said yes that's why I didn't get a chance to get to your back. Had I not asked, I don't think it would have been acknowledged and I just think if something is determined to be done and the masseuse decides to alter the plan a bit to just communicate it. But I would absolutely return for for another massage here! 4 stars for the massage. The facial part left me less than impressed. I would give it 2 stars (hence my 3 star rating, an average of the facial and massage). Tiffany was my facialist. Now, this has nothing to do with her skills, but when I got in the room she asked me about what add on wanted and mentioned one I didn't know was an option. When I said, oh, I didnt know I could choose that, she asked if the front desk girls had told me about the add ons. I mentioned yes on the phone they did, but that one option wasn't mentioned. And she goes "okay well I'm just checking, because the girls at the front desk don't always know what they're talking about/don't do a good job at explaining". Now, maybe that's true, but don't tell a client that! If you have problems with your team, take it up with them privately and don't trash talk to the clientele (esp. since I found the front desk staff to be a lot friendlier and no where near as brusque as Tiffany). We started the procedure, and she began with putting some different products on my face (although there wasn't really any facial massage technique just general rubbing in) and then she got to the add on service first. This service ended up taking 2/3 of the appointment. And when we were done and she left the room, I looked at my phone and the time was 1:49. Assuming we started the facial on time (1 pm), that means my hour long facial was 11 minutes short (plus some time is spent talking and changing) and I can't help but think, what would have happened if i didn't have the add on? That was by far the majority of the appointment. I get a facial every month, I recently just left my membership and am shopping for a new place, and the one thing I really pay attention to is session length because facials aren't cheap, they are a luxury to me and every minute counts. She mentioned that because of my add on they don't "do steam" which in hindsight I assume means extractions (which weren't done, so putting two and two together) and so that's fine if that's your policy except one thing I love about facials is having all the sebum and stuff extracted from your nose and mine is still there. It was just an underwhelming experience and while my skin looks nice today, it doesn't have the post facial shine and glow that I am used to. So really not sure if I am up for giving them another shot which is too bad, because it's a facial membership I am looking for. Tiffany just...underwhelmed in every sense. Super bummed. They do validate parking which is nice, and the front desk staff did a great job of talking about memberships and giving me some literature :) read more

This place gave me life! I went for a couples massage. The customer service was amazing! Before the appointment I called 2 times with questions about parking and the appointment time. The ladies at the front desk were so sweet and helpful! When I arrived I immediately felt relaxed and at ease. Now about the massage! Oh my Jesus... I saw Heather I just wanted to ask her Rockne home with me. It would have been entirely inappropriate and I'm it would have ruined my partners massage... lol.. Heather was amazing! I fell asleep...
