This is not a review of the practitioner, as she did an excellent job. This has to do with the business structure. They will try to sell you on a subscription plan. I told them I live in another state and they still tried to sell me on it. I declined. They have attempted to charge me for the subscription plan 6 months later. Luckily my card had expired. I booked an oxygen facial through classpass - I'm not sure if that was the reason, or because I got there for a 4pm appointment, but when I got there I felt a little unwelcomed. Once I got past this feeling, I had a great facial - it lasted 40 minutes and all the products smelled amazing. No problem using the Groupon, actually they were very accommodating when they couldn't get me in by my Groupon expiration date and honored the Groupon after expiration when they could get me in. Brandon always makes it a point to work with me and my schedule to get me in when I need and have been great when I have had to cancel appts and/or reschedule. I would give this business zero stars. I have been going here for many years and have had a great experience. However, this business was apparently bought out by a new couple. They hired a person that said she was accredited and could work with plastic surgeons. When I went in to get an IPL treatment on my chest, the technician said she was qualified to work with plastic surgeons and that she had more experience than any others. This made me feel confident that my treatment would be great. However, during the treatment, there was more pain than I ever experienced. I told her that, but she kept saying it looked great. After the treatment, the IPL treatment burned. When I saw the results after a couple of days, it was clear that I had second degree burns. I expected the normal IPL lift of damages, but this was more than that. I called BodyBrite and told them I had burns. They asked that I send pics. I did and they said this normal. However, I have had IPL many times and raised blisters were NOT normal. I asked for a refund, but was told the owners were out of town and I could pick up some cream with lidocaine. When I said I was out of town and could they send it to me, they said no. I again called to talk to the owners and was told they were unavailable. They never returned my calls. Went to BodyBrite for teeth whitening a few weeks ago. The process is pretty cool and it really did do a great job on my choppers. It takes about an hour of sitting under a blue light (see selfie) but you're in a well-air conditioned room, reclining in a comfortable chair. I killed time by listening to a podcast (don't forget your earphones). The facility is very clean and modern. The staff are very competent and friendly, always checking to make sure you're comfortable etc. This process actually caused less sensitivity for me than the bleach I previously used. read more

I finally decided to try laser hair removal after I purchased a Groupon deal that was too sweet to be passed on. I was terrified at trying laser hair removal because a lot of people said it hurts. I want to say it has been the best decision of all summer. I have fairly light skin with dark hair, therefore, the tech tells me that I am like an ideal candidate for this type of treatment. 1st session: 2 emotions overwhelm my body - Shyness and nervousness of what to expect. The tech made it extremely comforting for me and kept up with every face reaction and gesture I would do. Its true, it felt like rubber band snaps. And as rubber band snaps, you feel it 1 second, and the other its gone. My legs were a little bumpy after the session and you could see red dots were the hair follicles had been zapped. That lasted only 1-2 days, by 2nd day they were gone. They do tell you to apply lots of aloe vera gels to keep skin cold/fresh to avoid irritation. Its been 2 weeks and I can barely see a hair line is starting to grow next to my chin area. Legs feel smooth and soft. 2nd session, much more comfortable. Felt the zaps a little more, but it was a much quicker session. Was in and out within 15-20 minutes. Same skin reaction, minor bumpiness that went away within Day#2. Its been 5 weeks and once again, my legs are incredibly smooth and soft. Minor hairs growing at a very slow rate. I have to add that I had 3 scars on my legs from a dog bite I had 2 years ago and they are starting to disappear too!!! How cool is that! 3rd session, the intensity has been increased and I can feel the zapping intensity increase with it, however, very manageable, one second you feel the snap and the other its gone. This time the bumpiness was gone by that same night. Its been 4 weeks and no hair. Legs are softer than ever. Definitely worth the money. read more

The facility is clean and they have a nice space. I have had to reschedule a couple times and I the receptionist is always friendly and polite, working to accommodate my schedule. I am going back for touch ups from a previous laser experience 3 years ago so I can't say with 100% certainty how their results compare. I get photo facials here and have for the last six months. The front desk lady named Rowan is really helpful and so sweet. She's always right there to help you with whatever you need as far as scheduling or explaining options for your services. I started with Jean-Marie Shea and she was really nice. She moved on to continue her education. Now her new replacement is even more super talented and knowledgeable too! I only met her once but I am sure I'll be back to see her. I don't see the doctor guy ever- but I never really needed to. Make sure you want this option. It's really for people that know the results or the procedures and don't need the dermatologist assistant doing this for much more money. If you're not sure- go to a derma and try it and if you like it- come here. I don't wear makeup anymore if I don't want to. This has helped my skin so much. At least as much as my regular clinical facials. The deep groves under my eyes have smoothed and the mom dark circles are almost gone completely.
