I've been going to Elements for some time now and have always received exceptional care! Hillary is absolutely amazing. She's not only incredibly skilled but has this wonderful ability to make you feel genuinely cared for. She remembers your preferences, listens to your needs, and greets you with authentic warmth while maintaining complete professionalism. Every visit exceeds my expectations. If you're looking for outstanding service in a relaxing environment where you'll feel truly pampered, Elements is definitely worth it. I can't recommend Hillary and this place highly enough! read more

Such a good place! I can't even deny it! Definitely recommend!! Again and again lol I love a good massage being I'm 8 months pregnant

Things that are awesome: - The twins getting laser hair removal as one of their graduation presents from a set of grandparents. - Working with a staff that is truly kind, answers questions, calms fears and is altogether so sweet and wonderful to work with. - How peaceful the environment is of the spa, itself; you'd never guess it was dead center 6th street. - The fact that the super sweet esthetician that worked on the twins was very calming, super explanatory and said "let me know how this feels and we will go from here" that ended with a "that's it?! That's nothing!" - the lady that came in that (poor dear) can't handle pain well and, between gulps of tequila, told us of her inability to handle the pain and just not being able to do it sober. (this was hilarious and she was too cute!) Things that are not so awesome: - The parking and that's it. So, yes I would recommend Elements Spa, as well as asking them for the "Groupon price", for any of your laser hair removal needs. Just set your appointment time during a time period where you'll be able to find close street parking - which will cost you, so bring meter money. :) read more

I've been coming to Elements for about 15 years, this place is always so welcoming! The staff is always amazing and the owner is great! Carly and Hillary always take great care of me and make me feel comfortable. Elements Laser is amazing and getting lasered to eliminate unwanted hair is the best thing ever!!! read more

BURNS & SCARRING is what you may get if you choose Elements Laser Spa for laser hair removal. Polite technicians but they're young and they lack training. The certificate of registration for Elements Laser Spa that on their website expired in June 2019. Owner and Laser Safety Officer Paul Jones pretends to care but as soon as reimbursement and comp is requested he goes MIA. I've seen two dermatologists since this incident occurred and both said permanent scarring is likely. Treatment to try and fix the damage costs more than the laser hair removal itself. What started out as very painful red burns turned into brown scabs and hyperpigmentation all down my legs. Please do your research and avoid this spa (both locations). read more

Just at 6th street. I guess while people get drunk along the street, they can stop by for a laser hair removal. This place is more like a spa with several floors. The whole package is not cheap. But staff are very friendly. read more

I can NEVER EVER find parking nearby since this is literally right off 6th street.. however, the walk to Elements Laser is totally worth it. I am greeted promptly when I arrive, checked in, and I never end up waiting for more than 5 minutes. They use a cool touch laser which definitely eases the pain (think flaming rubber band hitting you over and over again... )They use top-notch equipment and are very knowledgeable. Aside from the parking, my only complaint is that they don't include the top of the feet when they do full legs. This is usually included at other laser places such as Alite. I would have to do a "full feet" laser but I only have about 4 hairs that grow right under my ankle. Not worth it. Their prices go up and down on the website all the time. You need to do some research before you come here to make sure you're getting the best possible deal. read more

I have been waxing for a long time, but I had always thought I would eventually try laser but had put it off due to the intimidating pricing. I bought a Groupon for Elements and have had a GREAT experience. I initially went for Brazilian (which is life-changing!) and have gone back to Elements for full leg hair removal as well. The salon is very clean and spacious in an old downtown building. I have never had trouble finding metered parking. The techs all are courteous and knowledgeable. read more

I have been coming here since more a year now and I am very happy to say that I love this place. I have been getting laser done for my underarms and upper lips and believe me I Love the results. I am so happy I no longer have to suffer through that pain of waxing , dark patches etc. The staff is awesome and cool. They are very accommodating and if you want to reschedule your appointments it's hassle free and quick. I found out this place through groupon (But they offer better deals than groupon) and I am glad I selected and trusted them. they have pretty awesome deals going on always so do check with them before purchasing from any deal sites!! Planning to get laser done for couple of more areas... I get my treatments done form Cory and I love her !! Thanks always !! read more

Love Elements! I've been going to the downtown location for the past year for hair removal on full legs. I tan easily and have pretty dark olive skin with black hair. After 9 treatments, my hair is either gone or super fine. Although I would love for my legs to be completely hairless, I've heard that that is impossible, and you'll always have a few patches or some fine hairs. Appearance-wise, you can't see the hair (unless you are searching for it), but sometimes I still can feel it in certain patches. Overall, I'm quite happy with the treatment. As for everything else, the place is super cozy and nice. The people there are amazing! Clarissa is my usual technician and she is easy to talk to, which definitely helps when you're being zapped with a laser. For legs, it doesn't hurt too much, comparable to a rubberband snap, but certain areas like the ankle and knee hurt more. I also think that the personnel and atmosphere make the Elements price worth it, as it can be a little bit on the higher end, if you compare it to all the other laser hair removal offers. read more

Excellent experiences with Carly and the rest of the Elements team! Their new location near Hyde Park is clean, spacious, and homey. I am always comfortable with my technician and have great conversations. I appreciate how quick and relatively painless the process is - so far results are good! They also run amazing specials. Highly recommend. read more

Carly James was a gem and an expert at her craft to say the least! I've been coming here for years and she's now my favorite! I highly recommend her and her knowledgeable background for your skin and laser needs! read more

I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Elements Laser Spa! Carly J is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Her sweet personality and professional attitude put my mind at ease. I couldn't ask for a better technician! read more

Michelle is as good as it gets! She's extremely knowledgeable about treatments, she's not a doctor but feels like she possesses so much knowledge she's could be. Carly is the best. Very professional and friendly. Clearly explained the procedure (IPL Photofacial) and realistic results expected. I can't wait for my next session with her next month. read more

I've been coming to Michelle for years. She is the best. I've had laser hair removal everywhere, Chemical peels, IPL facials, IPL on the back of my hands, and done injections. Michelle is great at it all. I loved when they had the location off congress, bc parking was easier, but if you come early enough they do have some commercial spots right out front of their downtown location and they have magnets upstairs inside for you to use on your car! it's a huge help!!! read more

Just did the Brazilian (thanks to my adult daughter's advice) and really, it's a whole new experience, eh hem. BUT, now that I've done it, I'm so glad I did. Now that I'm mostly hairless, those cute little Lululemon and yoga pants don't make me look like I'm carrying a package and no one will mistake me for our illustrious Leslie the Transvestite. I will say that I didn't do *quite* the entire Brazilian....little did I know that ppl pay so much attention to their Netherlands that hair at the, oh boy, anal area (oh yes I did say that) is even a freakin issue. Really, girls, if you ever get even the slightest remark from a man about hair there, then you need to tell him that he can forevermore limit his gaze your cheeks since it is obvious that he only likes smooth, shiny, and hairless thangs. Damn, gotta draw the line somewhere! (on a related note, in the recent movie Bridesmaids, they referred to actually *bleaching* the area!!!! O.M.G.) So, I had to put the brakes on when Clarissa suggested I turn over for the *rest* of the laser treatment. I'm sure the walls were thin enough for all the others in the place to hear me retort, "Heeeeyyyyyy-al no!" She put me at ease during the process, and treated me gently, acting like it's no big deal to have someone laser- zapping you, at your request. I have a high pain threshold so the stinging didn't bother me, but I can imagine that a more sensitive gal would prob begin to wonder, "Is it a sadist OR a masochist who is the one who requests pain?" Perhaps a pain reliever before the procedure would be a good idea; followed by a drink afterwards...Bess's down the street starts happy hour at 2:30, FYI. Come to think of it, isn't the name Clarissa like the name Clarice, as in Silence of the Lambs? You may recall the part of the movie where Miggs, in the nearby jailcell, remarks that he can smell her. To that issue, I warn you to be fully prepared before arriving at Elements. Do the gals a favor and be clean. Bless those tech's hearts. They do provide wipes, just in case. And, you are supposed to shave the area being treated, which leads me to wonder how the heck someone is supposed to shave that *other* area--squat over a mirror? ask a friend for help? ug. In the end (pun intended), it was well worth it. As a more mature client, I can say that grooming back in my day wasn't quite this intense. I thought that a man who likes a woman with this treatment was likely a pedophile, but I was wrong. There are practical reasons why doing it is good (cleanliness with little to no hair is awesome after sweaty workouts!), and fun (I'll let you discover this one on your own). Thanks, Clarissa, for putting me at ease and treating me gently! read more

First ever laser hair removal today at Elements. I purchased the Groupon several months ago and finally decided to use it on my under arms. Having never had laser hair removal before I wanted to start with something in a less sensitive and compromising area. Rose was the technician who performed my procedure. She was very personable. She spent a good amount of time explaining everything to me and going over the evaluation forms. My questions were answered assuredly. The procedure was very quick, which was great because it wasn't very comfortable. It felt like a bunch of tiny litte pinches and of course the smell - not from sweaty pits - but from the hair burning. yuck. They are running some excellent internet specials right now. The place was clean and smelled nice. There was no 'hard sell' on treatments or products. Next appointment and review in 6 weeks ! read more

Save the planet! Get lasered! With no hair on my legs or underarms, I save so much time in the shower. If you spend any amount of time on hair removal, lasering is worth your while. I was the kind of gal that would have 5 o'clock shadow two hours after shaving. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if you don't like it, you have awesome options now. I haven't used a razor in a couple of months! Make an appointment with Rose and get started--I adore her. She is professional and thorough. She takes time to educate you on the dos and don'ts of the process and really makes you comfortable. There are tons of laser places in Austin. Why Elements? Well, they are certified by the State of Texas to perform laser hair removal. Did you know many other places are not? Have you heard horror stories of burned, scarred skin? It won't happen at Elements. These people care. Rose, Clarissa, Nicole and Michelle make a great team and they are all very personable. They take your concerns and comments seriously. How often can you vouch for every person working for a company? They all rock. And now I am off for more! read more

I don't really have a lot to compare it to, as this is the first and only laser spa I've been to, but that says enough, doesn't it?! The technicians are super friendly and make you feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I'm also amazed by how fast it is and is exponentially less painful than waxing. The facility is always extremely clean and on time--I've never had to wait on my appointment. They also offer some rad specials, so be sure to check their website regularly and you might just get a great deal! Seems like some people have had parking issues, but I've always been able to park in the commercial zone, right in front, just fine. Simply park there, throw the magnets (just inside the front door) on BOTH sides of your car and you're covered. read more

I love Jessica at Elements Laser Spa. She's friendly, knowledgeable and most of all, very gentle. She seriously deserves a raise or better yet, a promotion. After three laser treatments by her, I feel and look like a brand new woman. I've been to a few other laser clinics and they have either been too expensive and/or yielded poor results. So not only do you get results at Elements, they're also affordable. *WARNING: Those with light skin and dark hair get the best results - which is my case. Look out for their great specials on Yelp and on their website. Right now is the best time to get what you need done because come spring/summer, the deals will be few and far in between. After I get into better shape, I'll be ready for swimsuit season! woo-hoo! read more

After stumbling upon their Groupon deal, I decided to give Elements Laser Spa a try. There were plenty of glowing online reviews already and I can see why... they did an excellent job on my underarm area. It has been over two years now. With the exception of some fine baby hairs, my armpits is virtually hair-free. No longer will I have to pick up a razorblade on a daily basis and deal with ingrown hairs. Not to mention, all of the staff members are extremely friendly, courteous, and well-trained. The only downside is the lack of parking. That's why I took the bus instead to arrive at my sessions (six total). Inside the reception area, there's plenty of seats and a free coffee/tea machine. You never have to wait long for someone to assist you. As for the actual laser hair removal, each session only takes a few minutes. The zaps of the laser are only mildly painful, nothing an average person can't handle. Afterwards you apply some aloe vera and anti-itch cream to the area. The itchiness, redness, and swelling should go away by itself after a few days. read more

Love this place. Have been going for a couple years now for laser hair removal, I drive from San Antonio! Have been with different aestheticians and always good experiences. Their prices are GREAT and they have sales for various procedures all the time. They have the YAG laser for black skin/darker skin tones, which is what I need and why I went there in the first place (my sister was the first to go). My only problem ever was I've had issues with them keeping track of my Lockbox purchases - the staff was helping in trying to figure things out and getting me in touch with manager (honestly I still need to do this so pending) read more

I went to Elements on the recommendation of my sister and one of our mutual friends. I opted for the full Brazilian because I had been getting the entire area waxed, why waste time with something less and they were running a special. The laser treatments are faster and less painful than waxing, and it's PERMANENT. WOOT! Thankfully they accept care credit so I purchased the recommended eight sessions using line of credit. It was totally worth it! The techs are all great, made me feel super comfortable in an otherwise *uncomfortable* situation and the hair is virtually gone. There were a few pesky resistant areas so I will have to go back eventually. I had little to no irritation afterward. Best of all, it actually took care of some rather terrible in grown hairs I had developed as a result of waxing (the laser kills the hair follicle so eventually it grows out, problem solved.) Plus you can shave between treatments, major bonus. read more

I've been to Elements several times for Laser Hair Removal and always had a great experience. All the girls there are great! I ask a lot of questions and they help me understand how the process works. And by the way, it does work. Appointments last 15 minutes, sometimes less so parking is not an issue since there is 15 min. parking right out front. Even when I'm there longer, parking has still never been an issue. Overall, I highly recommend them! read more

Wow...even if laser treatments are slightly painful, I love going to this place. Everyone working here is super friendly, it has the atmosphere of a spa, and they work FAST! I have NEVER had to wait more than 5 minutes. Highly recommend this place. read more

I finally entertained a groupon for laser hair removal and checked with place out. I called and scheduled my first appointment, then went ahead and scheduled the next 6 out so I could have a more consistent schedule. My friend had already had all her sessions completed here and was quite the fan, so I went in with good expectations. My expectations were right on the money! The only thing that might have you questioning yourself s that the location is ironically placed right above a tattoo parlor; however, once you walk in you and head up the stairs, you know you are at the right place. The staff was excellant about explaining out the situation and what the dos and don'ts are. The entire procedure literally takes 5 minutes and I was on my way home. read more

I've been to several laser centers over the past 12 years - some dermatologists offices and some chains. I'd put Elements at the top of that list as far as customer service, pricing and facility. Since this is not my first go-round with laser, I won't go into detail there, but will say the technology is on par with places that charge much higher prices. This is not a new technology, so Elements is doing great because they're not pricing out the middle class! A few things I really liked: - Very nice, clean and well-kept office. This is not just some room with a laser machine slapped in the middle. There's a real spa-like feel and you can tell they've put time and effort into making guests comfortable. Did I mention CLEAN? - Customer service. From my first email (couldn't reach anyone by phone, but they got back to me from the website form) through to checkout, everyone was friendly. - No hard sell. Some places make you feel obligated to buy the packages, which is fine if you have a couple of thousand laying around...but for those of us that don't and don't want to rack up the credit card - Elements doesn't push, judge or repeat the sell over and over again. Will definitely be going back to see Rose! She was so nice and I'd highly recommend her...but given my experience at Elements, I wouldn't be hesitant to go to anyone there. And finally to reiterate what other have said: DO NOT LET THE LOCATION PUT YOU OFF! Very professional, CLEAN business establishment. read more

They are the worst laser spa. Their technician at the 38 1/2 location is very rude and mean. she uses her boss name to scare & threat clients and I would never go back to place like this where I felt technician will hurt me or do wrong laser to me just because I was Late at the appointment. The technician was keep telling me our boss says, our business is not doing well and we must charge you extra money. she also said you are lucky we offer you laser services. like they are giving me free service. I am no longer their client because I would they are rude and mean and who knows if they do the right treatment read more

I have a low pain threshold (can't stand waxing for that reason), so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to handle the lasers, but it's not bad! Plus, after just a single treatment I saw a significant decrease in hair and could wait a whole week in between shavings (previously I was a daily shaver). I was worried about parking since I go to the downtown location, but it's never been a problem so far (and the parking meters all take credit cards now which makes it much more convenient). Also, the treatments don't take too long so you can make it in/out on one meter feed. The interior is nice and the staff is very friendly. My tech, Dawna-Lynn, is incredibly nice and shows great attention to detail. Request her and you're guaranteed a great experience. read more

If you're looking to have an IPL laser treatment done I highly recommend Nicole located at the north location. I was pretty nervous going in, but she made me feel right at ease. Not only does she have an awesome personality, she is SO knowledgeable about skincare and treatments and her enthusiasm for what she does really shines through! It's refreshing to see someone so passionate and in love with what they do. I was admittedly skeptical about IPL results but after the treatment I was amazed. Nearly all of my freckles and redness in my face faded after just one treatment. Since then I've been in for a second and plan on going in for a third in a couple of months and making IPL treatments a yearly ritual. If you're on the fence about getting an IPL book with N, you won't be disappointed! read more

Elements is great! Rose is so sweet and never pressures you into more services. The place is very quick and professional. I also like that they don't accept tips compared to some other places. The only reason I am giving four stars instead of five is because they told me originally I would only need a certain number of treatments and now I am going to need at least one more and possibly two or three more! And they are quite pricey... but I know in the very beginning they warn you that they can't guarantee 100 percent that you will be OK with a certain number of treatments.. but they make it seem like it is very unusual to need more than that. But if you are like me, I was kind of nervous to try it my first time, but the results are great!!! So much better than shaving all the time! read more

As for as customer service goes...this place deserves 10 stars (but could only give them 5). They are a really sweet staff and the manager Jessica really does a great job. Nicole is sweet and has been doing this for a long time. Always professional and friendly. They are always on their game and I have yet to see them have an off day. Was recommended to Elements and would definitely do the same. So here I am...go here people! There's a reason they are highly recommended and win CitySearch awards. Thank you Elements Laser Spa team! Other places in Austin definitely need to take a few lessons from you all. read more

I was really nervous the first time I came in to get laser hair removal, but the badass women at Elements put me right at ease. Nicole does a fantastic job of managing things, and Caitlin is the best new addition to the staff. Ask for her - she's quick while still making sure to be thorough, and she somehow manages to make the zapping relatively painless. To top it off, she's super cool and easy to talk to. I even catch myself looking forward to my appointments! Unfortunately, the comments about parking are true... it can be a headache. But I find Elements to be worth the inconvenience, especially when you can catch a Groupon. read more

These girls are amazing, I've had 6 or so sessions to get my bikini line done. I absolutely hate getting waxed, but this is nothing like it. No pain. Seriously. The lasers are state of the art and shoot a little blast of cool air so there is practically no stinging the whole process. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and the staff are professional and kind. I can't recommend them enough! Take advantage of the discounts and prepay for sessions, also refer friends and get a free armpit session! As far as the results go, I am so satisfied. I have realistic expectations and know that I will still have some hair, but it is so much more manageable. Texas in the summer is brutal if you're not constantly in the pool, and now I don't have to worry about bumps and I can go a few days without shaving. So glad I discovered Elements! read more

Hard to find your first time, yes indeed, but oh so worth it! I love the decor as soon as you walk in you feel like your in a private celebrity spa or something because you have to go up the stairs and you're not sure what to expect! Once there it's an adorable mixture of brick and paint. They always have the coolest artists works on display and fun retro furniture. There isn't ample seating but it's okay, I've never minded standing. My first appointment they were very thorough and even prevented me from making a huge mistake. I had been on medicine from having an allergic reaction to a bug bite. They knew that steroids would cause horrible ugly scarring so they rescheduled my appointment for a couple days later to be safe. I've been driving here from Houston for the past two appointments and they have been SO flexible with me. On my last appointment in, I called and said I might not be there at my 1:30 slot but that I was driving in as fast as I could. She told me that even though they close at 2 pm on Saturday's, she knew I was driving in JUST for the appointment so they would make sure they were still there when I got there. Fortunately I was wrong and got there on time, but it made me feel so good that they were willing to do that for me. They are always very helpful and honest with how it's going to feel. I've asked couple of the girls why they started working there and they almost all have responded, "because I was hairy." It makes you feel SO normal instead of embarrassed or weird. I never thought that I'd be so comfortable at a laser spa. I live in Houston and my appointments run out in November, but right now I'm really thinking that it's worth the 3 hour drive for the price and the expertise. read more
