She is so patient, thoughtful, and truly is the reason I enjoy coming here so much. I can't believe how quickly she's managed to fade my two larger tattoos and Microblading. Though I won't sugar coat it, tattoo removal is ROUGH, Anita makes the sessions go by quickly by keeping me focused on the end result. I am a client since 2017 and I come here for acne scar removal and lasers. For fillers, whether it is Sculptra, Bellafill, or Belotero, Suzette the owner is the best. Warm and friendly, a patient listener, and a highly accurate injector. It is important as my issues depend on the right filler and getting the texture just right. Other injectors to include doctors, do not have the same skill sets she has, as the ones I have seen rush through procedures. With Suzette, she listens and do give suggestions if she feels that something is not correct or needed. She gives me a solid hour of her time. I keep thanking over and over again for changing me and my life. It takes years unfortunately as scarring is hard to correct. Other procedures have to be done in conjunction with fillers. However, Suzette is the one to go to if you have the issues like I do. Another practitioner will do lasers and peels but for fillers, Suzette is the one to book with. They take appointment requests via texts, and were able to squeeze me in when I had a last minute cancellation by another spa. I recently moved from New York City to Austin and was on the hunt for a new Med Spa that handled all things skincare. After a careful Google search I came across Austin Med Spa. The reviews were amazing and so I decided to give it a try. My sister (who came along to keep me company) and I arrived a few minutes before my 12:15 p.m. appointment. The moment you open the front door you can absolutely see the place is well kept and exceptionally clean. The waiting area has snacks and beverages for you to enjoy while you wait. I made an appointment with Suzette based on Google reviews and I was not disappointed. Suzette has been in skincare for almost 20 years and it shows. She is kind, detailed in going over what your expectations are and explaining what she thinks would work best. My sister came into the room with me and the three of us laughed and spoke about all things skincare. I was completely impressed by Suzette and feel lucky I have found a place I will be returning to for all my skincare needs. Baileigh at the front desk is incredibly welcoming. Her client service skills are amazing and every business should have staff as attentive with incredible attention to detail and caring as she is. Her knowledge of skin care products are next to none and at her recommendation I purchased an SPF face cream that I'm in love with. Wow. Suzette really is as wonderful as these reviews say. I've never been to an aesthetician, so wasn't sure what to expect. When I went in today, her warmth, genuine care, and expertise made me feel very cared for. I felt valued in my (rather basic) questions, when it could have been easy to look down on my lack of knowledge. She listened with full attention, way more time than the appointment was supposed to be, gave informed options, thorough explanations, concrete before and after diagrams, and firsthand advice on lifestyle and preventative measures. And zero pressure. Most of all, I felt supported and not judged in where I am in my journey. As my main interest was learning about a skincare regimen, she provided thorough explanations on products, and their functionality. The front desk was also warm and helpful in continuing to provide information on the brands and products they carry (that have won Allure awards.) If nothing else, you can go in for an initial consultation and see for yourself. No strings attached. I know I'm definitely sharing them with anyone with skincare needs. Thank you again, Suzette! After getting multiple laser tattoo removal treatments from a different provider and not seeing any visible results after the last few treatments, I did some further research and decided on making an appointment with the Austin Medspa. I made this decision not only because this clinic has a PicoSure by Cynosure laser, which is the best laser for complete tattoo removal, but also because the medspa has very skilled providers that know how to operate the laser to provide the most effective treatment. I live in San Diego and flew to Austin specifically for this appointment. I was supposed to be treated by Anita; however, she fell ill the week of my appointment. I was very impressed with how accommodating and flexible the medspa was in arranging for a different PicoSure provider to still perform the treatment for me as I had booked a non-refundable flight. The receptionist, JJ, was amazing. She was available after hours and was able to very quickly arrange for another provider to perform the treatment in Anita's absence. I was treated by Brendan Leigh, who actually works for Cynosure and trains others on how to use the PicoSure laser. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to explain the removal process and what to expect during healing. He also told me that this would be my last tattoo removal treatment for both my tattoos which I was not expecting given the other clinic had quoted another 5 treatments each. It was an amazing thing to hear! It is now two weeks after my treatment and I have full clearance of one tattoo and significant clearance of the other which is expected to continue fading for 3 months. I am updating my review since the owner, Suzette contacted me to offer a complimentary microdermabrasion to compensate for the Glo Minerals wait. Kudos to Austin Med Spa for recognizing and changing my customer experience. Heidi, again, was wonderful. I even tried some dermaplaning on a few areas. My skin is so soft! I especially like the gel mask she uses. It has a mild, fresh scent and is really soothing. I purchased the SPF 40+ GloTherapeutics sunscreen. I liked that it absorbs quickly and is oil free. It kept my skin nicely protected while outdoors this weekend... highly recommend it for summer! read more

I visited Austin Med Spa today after much research for the best of the best. I am a former med-spa owner, from another state and crazy picky about med spa procedures. Upon arrival I was pleasantly offered a sparkling water, diet or other beautiful beverage. I was the greeted by my aesthetician , Suzette. I called in to ask questions about a pico treatment and the front desk woman seemed uncomfortable. I guess because I'm a person of color, which I mentioned because lasers can be dangerous for our skin type especially if you're working with people who don't know what they're doing. So when I ask if can I come in for a consultation, the woman said the computer systems were down and would give me a call back; she never did. When I did call back to check in with her she never answered the phone. It was as if she was avoiding my number specifically. I know this because I made my friend call and she picked up right away. Of course as individual you can take your chances with them but I personally wouldn't after this experience but good luck to anyone who does! read more

I see Chrissy- I actually started seeing her at another spa and followed her when she moved here. I have always been very happy with how she does my injections; she is very gentle and has a natural aesthetic that never leaves me worried about whether I'll look overdone when I leave. I cannot rave enough about Heidi. She is one of the most incredible people I have had the opportunity to meet. You can tell she actually cares about helping you. I have seen Heidi 5 times. My first session, being new to Salicylic acid chemical peels, I had a number of questions and doubled our appointment time! She very informatively and calmly answered all of my questions with amazing knowledge and personality. She even spent time asking about my life. I was completely shocked after the second appointment she had asked me about something I had told her during my first appointment. I was touched she had followed up and remembered. On my third session, I was her last appointment of the day. She could have rushed me out the door so she could spend the beautiful rest of the Saturday with her family, but instead she spoke to me at great lengths about skin care and personal life and even touched up my make up after the appointment. Heidi has such a kind heart that it seeps through her every day work life. It is so refreshing to see someone who enjoys what she is doing. She actually tells you that she loves extraction (but then at the same time will apologize for inflicting you pain). I saw numerous other professionals to try to clear up my acne problem. I never felt any of them cared, and were only in for the money. Heidi is a diamond in the rough. Not only does she care, she is genuine. She sent me home with samples to try during my home routine. I trust any recommendation she has because I know she is not in it for the money, but to help. I have never met anyone quite like Heidi. And although I was seeing her during a dark and frustrating time, I was actually very sad when she announced she thought we did not need to make a follow up appointment, which was news that should have been ringing bells to my ears. If you are looking for a professional, that will take the time to sit down with you, Heidi is your gal. After nearly 2 years of struggling with acne, after seeing Heidi only 5 sessions, I was able to clear up my skin. I have been going to Austin Med Spa for a variety of treatments for the past six years. Suzette, the owner, is a sweetheart. She does not push *any* products or treatments and gives you a very realistic overview of results/pain level etc. So many places gloss over but Suzette tells it like it is. I've seen Chrissy before and she's terrific -- has a light touch and you will leave looking refreshed but not "done." She does a great job with fillers. Erica is my new love. I started seeing her for facials and photo facials after seeing Heidi for a million years. I thought Heidi was irreplacable (her energy is so good and she knows everything about skin) but I adore Erica just as much. She is a perfectionist and a very talented joyful person to be around. I first visited Austin Med Spa several months ago to discuss some skin issues I've had for quite some time. I called to make an appointment and they were able to get me in very quickly (within a few days). I researched med spas in Austin for a weeks online and found a lot of great reviews and a really nice write-up by a local on her blog "Locally Lisa". Suzette was extremely helpful during the first appointment. She listened to all of my concerns and was very honest about treatment options and results I can expect for my skin type. The best part of Austin Med Spa is they do not try to push products on you if you are not interested. The only mention of products was when I asked and she was happy to recommend a few of her favorites and some that would be great for my particular skin conditions. A few months later, I became interested in the IPL photo facial treatment. I was still very nervous after doing some extensive research online and seeing some pretty horrific results from people that went to other spas. Suzette was KIND and patient enough to meet with me for a second consultation to go over my concerns. I had a million questions, and she was so incredibly patient and understanding and went down my list with me. She even gave me her personal email so I could show her some of my research - again she was interested in my concerns and took extra steps to discuss them. After meeting with her a second time, I felt confident and safe to proceed with treatment. Again, they were able to get me in very quickly. I had the IPL treatment yesterday afternoon and I am already seeing fantastic results! There is no downtime or discomfort. There were absolutely no complications and the procedure was not painful. Suzette knows what she is doing and safety and patient comfort is her number one priority. I highly recommend this spa and Suzette!! I will definitely be returning for more treatments. read more

Every time I go to Austin Med Spa, it's such a pleasure. I love the old eclectic home they have turned into their world class office. Scheduling is so easy and they always seem to be able to work me in if I'm in need. Baileigh is absolute SWEETHEART and makes you feel very comfortable while you wait. She also helps me manage my reward points - HOW AWESOME IS THAT!?!? My gf and I have seen Suzette for various procedures and she always delivers perfection. She's an artist. If you have an interest in fillers or other treatments, keep in mind that not all providers are created equal. Personally, if I'm going to spend a grand on fillers, I want to have the BEST practitioner to go along with it. You have that duo with Suzette. What's more, she makes herself available for ANY questions you may have before or after. Finally, I've also had the pleasure to work with Krista who does some other treatments there. She is nothing short of stellar. She's super professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. There have been at least two occasions where I needed to come in unexpectedly and she made the schedule work for me. I think it's important to know that I live all the way in Round Rock and there are no shortage of providers in my area. I will GLADLY drive all the way downtown to get the 5 star service from Austin Med Spa where I know I'll always leave feeling like a million bucks. I have always wanted to try a peel but I have seen some bad results from peels and IPL on the internet and first hand. Burns and permanent discolorations seem not uncommon with these procedures. In my opinion there are people with little education, training or experience performing these kinds of procedures and that is where you get in to trouble and see bad results. Suzette, on the other hand, is a consumate professional. Because she is a Registered Nurse, you can rest assured that you are receiving your treatment from a trained medical professional with a high degree of education and experience. She will patiently explain everything to you. As mentioned in another review, she does not push products on you. And the spa is a lovely peaceful oasis on busy W. 6th. I had no difficulty in getting an appointment and the staff was even very helpful when I had to reschedule. I am so pleased with the results!!! My skin looks healthy and radiant. Blackheads gone and pores shrunk. I will definitely be returning with regularity. read more

I came in with concern of enlarged pores and blackhead, and heard that Microdermabrasion treatment might help. I gotta say, it was my first microder and I was but nervous, but it was so relaxing and not painful at all like I though it would be., I knew I fell asleep during the session. I left with less obvious blackhead for sure, but it was no miracles. I am giving 4 stars because, after all, I only had one session. I might change my feedback after a couple of more session. Like everyone else, I love Heidi! She was friendly and knowledge. I also like the location cus it is not too far away from the UT campus, I like that I can get a hour of relaxation after spend 8 hours in between classes and office. They do charge a bit more compares to other Groupon deals, but they also have the best reviews. Being a new comer, I prob will try other places, but this is def my to go spa! read more
