I bought a package of 3 for microneedling which was a VERY reasonable price, especially compared to other med spas in the area who are charge very high prices. I just finished my 2nd session and had to come here to sing my praises. Paloma, the esthetician who does my microneedling is so thorough, knowledgeable & caring. She does a great job during the treatment, and makes sure all my questions are answered pre & post treatment. I'm very pleased with my results so far!! Additionally, I've also seen Janel for dysport in-between my microneedling sessions and I feel the same way. She's is very thorough and knows what she is doing. I have some mixed feelings about my experience here. The pros: I see a difference in my hair growth and am overall pleased with the laser results. I was primarily waxing prior to starting laser, which was actually the same cost as my sessions at SEV, so laser is definitely a more cost effective options for me. The cons: you get what you get with your technician. My latest appointment, I had someone new (to me) and really liked them. However, all of my previous sessions have been with technicians who, honestly, have been quite rude. They have seemed judgmental, cold, and lofty - I don't have any other way to describe it. The front desk staff have also always seemed like they just want to churn clients in and out as fast as possible, and they also clearly just want to make as much money as possible. For instance, I checked in on Yelp and saw a pop-up about redeeming 5% on the appointment. I was just about to be taken back for the laser session, so I put my phone away and planned to redeem it at the end of the session when I was paying. Of course, the pop-up went away (just my luck...) but I figured I could just explain it to the front desk and they would understand. Nope. Without any remorse, they said I should have told them prior to the appointment. How would I have known to do that? Then, they told me that they weren't offering parking garage validations that day. The iPad was malfunctioning, so I had to wait several minutes for them to figure it out so I could pay. By the time that I finally ran back to my car, I had been parked for 33 minutes. The first 20 min in the garage are free, an extra 10 min (so 30 total) are $6, and then every half hour after that is another $4. They charged me $10. Although I've liked the results of the laser itself, I have not liked my experience at SEV and will likely be exploring other options. It's a shame, because I have recommended SEV to a handful of other people, but have had to share this experience with them, as well, and we're all going to explore other places for laser.
