I have been coming here for years. Massage Circle is a good regular Massage spot. Today I received a massage for lower back pain from Shi Shi. I asked her not to walk on my back and she used her elbows instead. She found knots in my neck and scalp that I didn't know about. I did the deep tissue complete massage. It cost $60 for an hour plus a $2 fee for using credit card (which is pretty standard at most massage businesses I have used). I actually prefer to use credit card as I can budget the transactions easier and I have a date of my last massage to make it easier to go monthly. read more

Why the two starts you may ask ? My answer is that it could have been one star. I went through and researched a lot of massage places in the area and this location struck out the most. It turned out into a big disappointment. I've chosen to give an additional star only for the fact that I called in same day within 30 minutes I was able to come in immediately for my girlfriend's birthday. We chose the massage circle special that included 90 minutes + hot stones. Honestly everybody there was really nice , just the massage was really uncomfortable. The odd part was that we did aromatherapy and we got to choose our oil that was from Tj Maxx... The masseuses asked how much pressure we wanted and I said medium not too rough. I just felt like the whole time she kept on rubbing the same area on my spine. The upper joint on the spine by the neck was repeatedly pressured and it seemed like that was her go to spot. She primarily focused on the neck and the shoulders and went in deep tissue. Like no, I also have a back.. My girlfriend felt the same way as well. We both did not feel relaxed at all and throughout the week we've experienced and felt our bodies feel unaligned. When I was turned over they put me on the side and made a weird twist to my body. Also I felt uncomfortable when they started massaging my face.. is that included in this package? What's going on? It was really disappointing and a felt like it was a lack of experience. read more

I've tried here a few times previously when my other place wasn't available but that other place had became inconsistent. So have came here about four separate times and each time has been great. There have been 3 of the times where I went and it was three different women and they all did an amazing job the knots in my back worked out. They can feel where muscles are tights and can work where needed. Always come for the 90 min special, great amount of time in my back where I hold a lot of my stress. They are always professional and if anything is an issue just let them know and they will assist differently. It's consistency, price and great hands they have is what keeps me coming back. This is my new regular spot and I am trying to come once a week to workout all these knots and help with recovery from my workouts. Give them a shot, I have not received a foot massage so I wouldn't be able to speak to that but the 90 massage circle special is great. read more

My girlfriend and I got a couples massage here and the price was agreeable, not too high and not a deal either. But the massages, WOW. Massages were painful. I'm not sure if this is the massage style practiced at this joint, but if you're expecting a relaxing Swedish massage this ain't it. Imagine a lot of elbows, and sharp points, digging deep into your muscles and bones. I admit I was trying to man up and not say anything - that was my fault. But midway I couldn't take it and I asked my massage therapist to please go lighter. It was STILL painful after that and I had hella bruises the next day. Pretty sure her nickname is The Rock, since she was tenderizing me and straight up hitting me with the People's Elbow. In fact, everything short of yelling "CAN YOU SMELL-L-L-L-L WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN" Mind you I took a few massage classes and almost got certified, so I know what's normal and what's not. read more

I've been going to Massage Circle for a few months now and feel that I can finally make a legit review - Massage Circle is one of the better/more affordable massage places in the OC. I was surprised to learn how pricy massages were in the OC overall. At Massage Circle, prices are less than $50 (for the most part). I usually get the 60-minute combo full body massage (45 minute body / 15 minute feet). Best way is to give them a call ahead of time / set a reservation time and come in. They do follow-up if you don't come on time so make sure to keep them posted. Once you're there, you choose what you want / whether you want a female or male masseuse and you're given a room fairly quickly. The rooms are good (the better ones for me have oddly been the single rooms) with small baskets for you to put your clothes and belongings. Most of the masseuses have been great. They usually ask how strong you want your massage. The medium level is strong in my opinion but one of my friends liked the hard level if you really like it strong. The masseuses are also pretty responsive if you need them to lighten up or strengthen the pressure. I believe most of the masseuses are Chinese but do speak English. I've had the hot stone (which are super hot) and the feet wash as well which are also both comfy. My one negative point is that as the timer gets to the last five minutes, the massage gets rushed. I get that there are other customers but the masseuses shouldn't feel like they need to rush to finish up which usually neglects the feet or shoulders at the end. If you use a Yelp check-in, you'll also get a free add-on like hot stones which is a nice add-on. read more

It's a hit and Miss with this place. When they are off it's bad. I had GC and only used park of it. I thought they would issue and a new one with the $40 difference. But no. And I gave cash tip. Also I made the appointment and she made it seem like I didn't. They kept taking others in. It was til I said I wanted to cancel they brought me back. I don't think they like taking the CG. I got looks and of course they were talking in a different language. But I also had 2 real good experiences. It's ok if you don't want to spend a lot of money. read more

Massage places are tricky for me to find because reviews are so extreme of really good or really bad. My overall experience with Massage Circle, good service and good massage. i made an appointment a few hours before and they were able to fit me into the time that i wanted. I would recommend you to let them know what type of pressure you want going in. Even though I said medium, i felt like the person doing my massage went light. I know coming back that I will ask her to apply more pressure. I am giving this 4 stars only because i went in with a really bad and stressed back and felt like the person went over my knots but always missed it by a little bit and wasn't able to get my knots out all the way. I walked out relaxed but an itching knot that was wanting to be unknotted. I did the 90 min massage and i still felt like time passed by sooo fast! The cool thing about this place is that they do have a stamp card! i'll be coming back if i want a destressor. not so much for getting those stubborn knots out! read more

This is THE place to relax and get a perfect massage at an unbeatable price. I have tried so many places in OC from Thai Massage, to Hand and Stone, to Massage Envy, and this is by far the best. First of, an hour massage at $35 is kind of amazing. Second, the massage therapists know what they are doing. I didn't have to tell them where to focus on; my therapist could simply sense the tensed areas and focused on those. Third, Love the extended hours so that you can get a massage pretty much anytime. I come here often and have been since moving to Orange last year. They are a quality massage place. My typical therapist is Carole and she is simply amazing. I always pay in cash and always tip 40-50%. The massage therapists work hard and I recognize that! Today my massage was 10 minutes short. I was taken back to the room around 7:07, waited a long time, and looked at the clock when the therapist walked in the door to begin. It was 7:16. I looked at it when she finished, and it was 8:06. I pointed this out, very kindly and very gently, and the therapist and the front desk manager were extremely disrespectful. I simply told them I had been keeping track via the clock, and both told me I was wrong. The front desk lady kept saying, "I brought you back at 7:07! You got one hour!" I explained the circumstances, and reassured them I was not angry, but rather simply letting them know it was cut short. But both continued to yell. Both raised their voices at me in a waiting room full of people, called me a liar, and told me they would look at the cameras to prove me wrong. I had very respectful tone, reassuring over and over that I was not angry. Instead they insisted I was lying and made a fool out of themselves in a room full of (no longer) customers. I love this place! And I love Carole. It's so sad that this new therapist today and the front desk manager were so incredibly incompetent and disrespectful. Was holding on to some tension in my shoulders and neck area and wanted to get a massage to release the discomfort. When I first saw the prices for Massage Circle, I thought they had to be promotional or with some strings attached, but to my surprise, they weren't! Based on other reviews, I called and made an appointment ahead of time and showed up later that day. When we arrived, we were promptly greeted and given a menu of services to choose what we wanted. I went with the 45-minute body and 15-minute foot for $35 (which I should have known better since I'm ticklish) and Jaime did the full body for $40. Since we came together, they asked if we wanted a joint room and we were fine with it. You undress to where you're comfortable, lay down and they get to work. The masseuses were great about asking if the pressure was too much or if we wanted more - they didn't ask a ton of questions, but they were really making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the experience. Pro-tip: If you check-in on Yelp, you get an additional add-on... I did hot stones and that was an interesting and amazing experience! I left feeling real good and euphoric - we'll definitely be back on a more regular basis since you can't beat those prices! read more

The folks here are nice. They're trying to make a good impression, but some of the therapists could use some pointers of massage. My husband and I came in and walked out slightly uncomfortable. The therapists here use their elbows to get more leverage...which is normal and a technique taught in schools, but their elbows where super bony and sharp. It was almost like getting sliced by knives. Asking them to lessen the pressure would result in a super mild massage...not ideal when you know that you're tight...better to not even try to get a massage. If you're looking for light pressure, this place will probably be work for you. If you're looking for a deep tissue-style massage, I would come here only if I had enough padding on me to absorb the sharp elbows. read more

I called ahead for an appointment for a couples massage at 8 pm. I love that this place is open until 10 pm during the weekdays so I can get a massage after work. I had slept wrong the night before, so my upper back and neck were sore. We arrived at 8 pm and paid at the counter before going back. The lady said cash was better because they charge $2 to pay with card. I thought this might happen so I planned ahead and brought cash with me. We were then taken back to the first room on the right. There were 2 beds and the room seemed clean. They have little shelves in the corners that you can put your belongings on. We undressed everything except for our underwear and laid on the beds. At first the beds seemed hard, but when we were getting massaged I barely noticed. The ladies asked us if we wanted hard or medium, and we both opted for medium. It still felt a bit hard to me, but too bad. It was like she knew where I was sore because she kept rubbing the troublesome spots deeply! It hurt sooo good lol. My boyfriend liked his massage as well. We both LOVED the foot massages. Apparently I fell asleep for 5-10 minutes because my boyfriend said I was snoring, lol. My back was really hurting and I know I needed a massage really bad. My girl had mentioned that they had come here this past weekend and said it was amazing, so I decided to try it. Called and made an appointment today for 1:30pm. Wasn't really sure what to expect as it was my first time. My masseuses was Mia and left me to tell you....my girls where right!! Mia knocked, came in the room and introduced herself. She asked me if there was anything specific I needed work on and I said my middle back was hurting a lot. She then asked me if I wanted Medium or Deep pressure, I said Medium Deep. She began and let me tell you, it was painful not because of Mia, but because I was really tight and had a whole lot of knots. Mia worked her magic and after my two hour session I was feeling amazing!! Not everyone will agree and you will see some bad reviews, but I have to tell you, please give this place a try. Are their other place like big franchise companies that you can go to and get a so-so massage and they will give you a "free-be" to keep your business, of course. But let's support our local businesses and little businesses in Orange!! Mia was amazing and left me feeling like new again. I absolutely love this place. I've only been twice, but both times have been AMAZING. They were able to take me within 30 minutes both times I called. The rooms seem very clean and lots of privacy. Doesn't look or feel sketchy at all. The masseuses, I feel like they actually KNOW what they're doing. This place is horrible! Even after communicating with the masseuse about how she needs to be gentler and softer with her touch, she didn't change. I cringed through my entire massage. After my massage, she had the audacity to follow me toward the exit and ask for a tip! How unprofessional is that!!!! Her massage was so bad that it aggravated my sciatica! I left this place hurting!! I have gotten many massages before from different places, always requesting medium pressure. I feel like the guy that did my massage was not a real, certified (or trained) masseuse just based on what he was doing vs the massages I am used to experiencing. After weeks of complaining about back pain decided to go here with a friend for a 1hr full body massage (only body, not feet-- $50). It was pretty easy to find and is in a plaza that has a lot of parking. It's a little strange because you pay before service but they got us in quickly. The room wasn't super nice or anything but considering your eyes are closed the whole time it really didn't bother me.
