What a perfectly amazing massage place hidden away in the most busy intersection in Orange! I stumbled upon Massage Circle when I woke up and couldn't move my neck. Being a passenger hurt, walking hurt, even sitting still.... yep you guessed it, hurt. I called when I checked the prices and saw a couple of brief yelp reviews. *Disclaimer: I really can't understand why this place had an array of weirdly bad reviews! They were incredibly accommodating. For example... 1. First I asked for a couples massage at 12:30. Then I had to switch it to a single massage at 2. They were so super sweet about it and didn't hassle me at all. 2. Upon being led into my room, I was told "someone" was going to be right with me. I assumed it would be a woman. ( I've had varying degrees of uncomfortableness and fear with a man masseuse.) I asked for a woman and again, no hint of annoyance nor did I get any black lash! The little asian woman made me feel comfortable and smoothed out the kink in my neck the best she could. Periodically, she would ask if the pressure was okay. I loved it. The rooms, were actual rooms! You are able to faintly hear outside noise but the calming spa music can bring you back. Once, finished I felt so at ease and relaxed, I could feel my eyes groggily wondering why I couldn't just take a nap there. The massage was $35 for an hour & with the yelp check in, you get a free "upgrade". The owner ( I'm assuming) in front even helped me pick out my upgrade, recommending the popular one. For $45 ( $10 tip ) I can say that this place is worth it. Now, I even have a stamp card from this place & let's just say, I plan on achieving the redemption coupon quite quickly. read more

I have been going here for quite a while now. Prices are good. The girls there work really hard, so I tip high as well. They always made sure I'm good with their pressure, always checking on me and knowing when to ease and to not. It's always a new girl massaging me, uniquely different but till good. After weeks of complaining about back pain decided to go here with a friend for a 1hr full body massage (only body, not feet-- $50). It was pretty easy to find and is in a plaza that has a lot of parking. It's a little strange because you pay before service but they got us in quickly. The room wasn't super nice or anything but considering your eyes are closed the whole time it really didn't bother me. The first time I ever came here- I experienced the BEST massage of my life. 100%. So I made this my go to- ever since then it has been a different person everytime- every massage is getting less and less skilled- and there is zero consistency between therapists. But my last visit.. my absolute last- was the WORST "massage" if I would even call it that- my cat my 6 year old or a back scratcher can do better. This massage was much needed and I just left feeling like I completely wasted my money- I almost stopped the massage 3x to just get out of there but kept trying to give the benefit of the doubt. I should have stuck with my gut. It was 60% elbow to my spine he didn't even TOUCH my lower back- and the hot stone was 3min at best. My neck shoulders and lower back have been hurting for like the last 2 weeks I can't handle it no more I was not able to go to work today I took a nap still hurting so I decided to look for a massage place I found this one on Yelp it had good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I called and a lady was very helpful and she gave me prices location and informed me that it was best to make an appointment so I did I got there like 15 minutes before they were ready for me they walk me to the room. Like a minute later the massager was there he started on me everything was feeling good I was feeling relieved I chose the $25 for 30 minutes for neck shoulder and lower back it was great I cannot complain I was falling asleep lol. I hope that by tomorrow I am like new fingers crossed . The person who was giving me the massage was an older man did not get his name everything was fine he was very respectful. They take debit credit cards if you do use it they will charge you a $2 fee so if you don't want to pay it take cash make an appointment and enjoy. What's that saying "you get what you pay for" that's the best description I can give this place. The facility is really clean and the staff is nice I just don't know where they learned to massage. I can't speak for all the masseuses there, but the women I had never touched me with anything but her knees and elbows and that was not the massage I was looking for. She walked in asked one question "do you want it hard"? Ummm I never heard that term before while getting a massage but because I'm a bigger guy I said yes I could use a little more pressure. Once she jumped on my back with her elbow diggin into my spine...it was at that moment I knew I F@&$ed up. I asked her to take the sheet off my back because it was creating friction that didn't feel good but she didn't listen. Needless to say I left massage circle feeling worse than when I walked in. Actual rating:: 3.5 stars I've been needing a massage after suffering from neck pain for several months. We usually go to another spot for a couples massage but I wanted to check out a new place. Plus we wanted to get a same day appointment. I found Massage Circle via Yelp with a nearly 5-star rating. I called them and they were able to take us within two hours. They are located in a small plaza facing Tustin Ave. The reception area is bright and calming. They even have signs that restrict loud talking or cellphone use. The lady at the front desk was nice and friendly. Here are a few tidbits:: **They open late 7-days a week and walk ins are welcome. **They require payment before your service which is fine since they may not be able to track who's coming and going. Payment via credit card is charged a $2 fee. **They offer a frequent customer stamp card. You'll get a $15 discount after your 10th visit. We had the Combo massage which includes 45-minute body massage and 15-minute foot massage. The massage room is cramp for the couples massage. The massage bed is old and squeaks. It was noisy in our room because they are next door to a dry cleaners. Overall the facility is clean. The male massage therapist was a bit rough and doesn't speak much English. He didn't even ask if the pressure was too strong. The female masseuse was not too bad. Although she did use deep strokes on my neck and made me sore for 3 days. Make sure you speak up or they will assume you want deep tissue versus light to medium strokes. The prices are decent as compared to other spots. We may come back if in need of a quick relaxation session. read more

Following my review of my initial experience about a month ago, the manager reached out to me, apologized for the inconsistency and explained the therapist my husband saw was new. The manager urged us to give them another try. Drawn in by the value, great customer service and convenient location and scheduling, we decided to give it another shot. We were really happy with our second visit. We had 2 of the $35 combo massages. We asked for really strong massage and both of our therapists were great and met our expectations. The location is pretty nice and clean and peaceful. It seems like individual rooms and rooms for 2 are both available. If you are in a room for 2, they will offer to pull a separating curtain. The massage beds could use a little upgrading. I thought my face towel smelled sweaty both times. Overall, this place is a very good, clean and convenient massage place. My wife and myself spend a lot of time getting massages at various places. We found this place and went to it because of the other good reviews on yelp. We got two masseuses named Carol and Angel. They are the best masseuses we've had ever. The hour massage wasn't long enough for us. The place is very calming and clean. They have a warm oil that feels very nice especially on the colder days. The receptionist is very kind and helpful. The $80 for the couple massage is worth every cent. The masseuses put A LOT of pressure if you need knots taken out - it's almost painful but much needed if you have chronic back issues like myself. The facility itself is very well kept and clean. The worst massage I've ever had in my life. I requested a two hour deep, strong massage ahead of time. I basically had some lady rub lotion on me and squeeze my skin for 2 hours. No muscles or knots were worked. She was putting pressure on my bones instead of muscles. Definitely didn't know what she was doing or even understand the muscular system and how they work. I'm pissed. Such a waste of a day off. Every time I tried to ask the girl to focus on a spot or use more tension. She just kept squeezing my skin.
