Sam took the time to listen to what I wanted, patiently answered every question, and never made me feel rushed. We discussed my vision for transitioning from tile to wood flooring, and he immediately put me at ease by explaining it wouldn't be a problem. Even after the visit, I had more questions, especially about floor preparation and the contract language. Having a construction attorney in the family tends to make you read every word! Sam continued to answer my questions and worked with me on the contract until I was completely comfortable moving forward. Even though paying 50% upfront was difficult, I felt confident I had chosen the right company. That confidence was rewarded on installation day. Tony and his crew were outstanding. They also worked fast and left everything very clean. For reference, they ripped up old carpet and placed new hardwood in 2 bedrooms and 1 master closet. It took a little time to get the closest match but Bob was nice enough to come out twice to drop off two different floor samples. However, I was craving a bit more communication on their end. Bob is very responsive to messages which I appreciate but this was a job at an unoccupied home (belonging to my parents) with a hidden key so I did want more updates (especially with my folks constantly asking me). I did not receive notification of job start or finish. I had to reach out to get that. I didn't find out that the job was completed until the following day. I received an immediate reply to my messages which is nice but like I said, I'd have preferred more proactive communication. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.
