We came back and had such a delicious korean food fix! Loved the spicy tofu soup, and ttkebokki! yummed!

Can't even explain how great this place is, first of all, its always clean, the owner Kate and her family are so helpful and very hospitable. They make sure you are serviced with the 100% all the time. Love the food, taste really good and fresh. I come in the restaurant most of the time but we always doordash, the service is always fast. Def recommend!

Great new Korean place in my neighborhood. Food is fresh made to order super fresh and tasty. The server lady was very kind and attentive. Very excited to go back love the place. I tried the bibimbap very good it stayed hot through the meal. They serve side dishes with it. Did not like the fish cakes, but everything else was great. A must try if you are in the Anaheim Hills area.

The kind of hunger that hits after a gymnastics meet isn't subtle, and we walked into Masito ready for something warm and filling. It was a late lunch crowd, but the room still felt relaxed, and we were seated and settled quickly. We ordered the Cupbap Ribeye, kimchi fried rice, and a house ramen to share around the table. The ribeye cupbap really delivered on comfort -- tender pieces of beef layered over rice, savory and satisfying without feeling heavy. The kimchi fried rice had that familiar tang and warmth you hope for, with a good balance between spice and richness. The house ramen was exactly what we needed after a long morning: a hot, soothing bowl with deep broth flavor that felt restorative more than flashy. Midway through the meal, they surprised us with complimentary dumplings, which was such a thoughtful touch and honestly made the whole experience feel even more welcoming. Service stood out just as much as the food. Everything came out quickly, and the staff checked in at the right moments without hovering. They were genuinely friendly in a way that felt natural, not scripted, and it made the meal that much more enjoyable. Masito is the kind of place that understands what comfort food should feel like -- generous, flavorful, and served with care. If you're coming in after a long event or just need something satisfying and warm, this is a solid stop. Come hungry, and don't be surprised if they go the extra mile to make you feel taken care of.

Kimchi Fried Rice....yummy!

Tried Masito Korean House Tofu for the first time this past Sunday around noon, and I was surprised to see only one other table occupied--especially during what should be peak lunch hours. That was my first hint that the place is still new and getting their footing. We were quickly greet by a very cheerful and friendly hostess/server. She was very cool so positive energy so made the time enjoyable. One we placed our orders, the banchan (side dishes) were quickly delivered and sadly just four small items but refillable. Even the most modest mom-and-pop Korean spots I've been to typically serve a more generous variety (like 5-7). Banchan is such a big part of the Korean dining experience, so this felt like a letdown but hey onward to main course. I ordered the seafood tofu soup, which is usually my go-to, but unfortunately the broth lacked flavor. It felt like it was missing that depth, spicy satisfying taste. To make matters worse, the shrimp in the soup were tiny baby shrimp--not exactly what you'd expect or hope for in a seafood tofu stew. There were generous amounts of tofu. Now on the BRIGHT side, the kimchi fried rice with spam is delicious!! The fried tofu bimbimpo was awesome too with the sauce. Service was polite and the space is clean, but overall the tofu soup felt can improve. There's potential here, so will come back end of year to try something else. Got to support the mom and pop shops and restaurants.

One other Korean restaurant in Yorba Linda and was so excited to try it. It's a little similar to BCD but home style. The food was good, but with some pros and cons. The soodubu was flavorful. The bibimbap was kind of oily and the black bean noodles were just ramen noodles, not jajangmyeon. The galbi was pretty little for quantity to price. The guys serving us were pretty nice though! Definitely a go to place if need some quick fill Korean food without going to LA or the OC.

I don't know why this place isn't packed out the door 24/7. It's so delicious! Our favorites are the Bulgogi and Japchae but we haven't had anything that wasn't amazing. The owners are beyond sweet and you can tell they put their heart and soul in this business. It really feels like eating a meal lovingly prepared by a friend. I genuinely cannot wait to come back.

I came here with my partner to try it out! The service was ok and the ambiance was a bit quiet! Not too much people were in, so I'm surprised it wasn't too packed! Short rib: juicy, flavorful, marinated well! Well seasoned! Definitely recommend! Japchae: simple and light flavoring with soy sauce and sesame oil. Light veggies such as onions, green onion and carrots! Tofu Soup: Not too much meat in the soup, nice spice and kick! TIP: Parking was ample and near the gas station! I believe there's a restroom in the corner of the restaurant (not too sure)! They do have a lunch special menu as well!

Restaurant closes at 9:00 pm per posted signage; but cut-off for dine in is 8:30 PM, sort of. First time finding this out was when I arrived at 8:45 pm. No biggie. I found out it's sort of 8:30 pm, when I arrived just before 8:30 pm and was turned away. I am happy for this establishment as it does not want or need my patronage. Best wishes to their continued success.

Came here around 7:45 pm. Plenty of parking and was seated right away. This is a small korean restaurant that mainly serves tofu soup. Service was great and everything came out fairly quick. This time we got the Galbi+ Pork Tofu soup combo and the Japchae. - Galbi 5/5: juicy, tender, and flavorful - Pork Tofu Soup: soup had a lighter vegetable flavor. Flavor of the meat did not get through in the soup 3.5/5 - Japchae(vegetarian): lightly flavored but still delicious. - banchan: was fresh and yummy 4/5 Finally a decent Korean place in Anaheim Hills. Definitely will go again. Too bad it closes a little early at 9:00 pm but most places in that area closes around that time so it's okay.

Such a delicious Korean restaurant in Anaheim Hills. I've eaten here several times now - the food and service are consistently wonderful every time. There's just something so comforting about this restaurant. I don't know if it's because the staff is so welcoming, or if it's because it's smaller and cozier than other Korean restaurants, but I keep coming back! My go to order is the original beef tofu soup. The BBQ beef short ribs are also delicious. The entree combos are a good size to share. Prices for the combos vary depending on if it's lunch or dinner & they also have a lunch special menu. Banchan options are a bit limited, but I don't mind it because they serve my favorites. They close for a short period during the day, so I would recommend double checking the time before heading over.

I'm averaging the rating of the two times I've been here. Maybe it was an off chance, but if you come here I'd recommend coming during lunch. We came on two separate occasions (second time was much better than first experience). 1st time (2 stars): We came on Wednesday for dinner at 7pm. Upon coming in they had a crying toddler in the kitchen and were severely understaffed. We felt bad about this as it seems like the lady waiting tables was also doing all the take out orders while also carrying and calming the screaming toddler. We waited around hoping for things to calm down. All the empty tables were still dirty and customers seemed annoyed at the wait. We sat for 35 minutes with no one coming by to give us water or taking our order. Neither of the three tables around us received any attention either as it seemed that they were working on a to go order. I did feel empathy as they seemed very stressed but we ended up leaving as it seemed like it would be another hour or two until we would've gotten our food with how slow things were going. 2nd time (4 stars): we decided to come back and give this place another chance, but decided to come during lunch time to avoid the craziness. It was a much different experience, it was a different waiter who was incredibly attentive and good came out quickly. The bbq short ribs were to die for and had the perfect amount of salty and sweet flavor. The vegetable tofu soup was delicious as well, would've wished that they put a little more veggies other than zucchini and mushrooms but overall was yummy!

Masito is located in a very dark area across from Pep Boys. Because of how poorly lit the area is, I honestly thought the location wasn't open today but it was. The inside of the restaurant isn't huge but has a decent amount of seats. This place is definitely more of a to-go/takeaway place rather than a sit down restaurant. The food was pretty good, but the presentation wasn't great for a sit down restaurant, hence the four stars. Serving some of our dishes on actual plates vs others like kimchi fried rice served in a to-go bowl felt strange to me. The plastic water cups for dine in are also like the ones you'd get at a fast food place, yet a server comes and takes your order, so that was a bit odd for me in the consistency of a sit down dining experience.

It serves traditional Korean fare such as soups, stews, noodle dishes, and Korean BBQ. It's not an AYCE BBQ spot but they serve high quality meat. The parking lot is small but there is also some street parking. We arrived at around noon and waited about 15 minutes for a party of two. We got the prime non marinated Korean BBQ for two people ($123.95). Of the meats we got as part of the combo, my favorites were the brisket, boneless short ribs, and marinated short ribs. The meal also came with banchan, steamed egg, and tofu soup. The steamed egg was decent but the tofu soup was actually really good. It was seasoned enough and was one of the better tofu soups I've had. Our server cooked the meat and cut them into smaller pieces for us so the meal was easy. I also noticed he cut the fat off them so I appreciated the small details. The service was also really fast and they were quick on giving more rice paper, banchan, and sauces. The meal was pricier than even some AYCE KBBQ restaurants but you can really tell the difference in the quality of the service, banchan, and meat. I saw a lot of Koreans eating here (especially older folks) so I know this is the spot to go to. Note that there is a 5% discount for paying with cash.

Despite giving both red and white kimchi while dining in person, the white kimchi will always be my favorite. The white kimchi is not spicy, but still has the hallmark vinegar taste with the crunch I've come to expect. You come here for Korean comfort food, metal dishes of banchan, enormous bowls of soup and stone pots hot enough to continue cooking your dinner while you eat it. And that stone pot is where I'd start. The gondre dolsot bibimbap was fantastic. Gondre is Korean thistle and here it gets worked through the rice with the egg, seaweed and everything else until the whole thing becomes earthy, savory and deeply satisfying. But the best part comes underneath. Leave it alone long enough and the rice against the stone develops that beautiful scorched crust, nurungji, which you eventually scrape loose and mix back through everything. That combination of the greens, sesame, egg and crispy rice is ridiculously good. There are dishes you finish because you're hungry and dishes where you keep digging around the bottom of the bowl because you're convinced there must be another good piece hiding somewhere. This was the latter. The galbitang was more complicated for me. The beef itself was excellent. Generous pieces, tender, falling easily from the bone and soft enough that our kids loved it. Plenty of green onion, too. My issue was the broth. I prefer galbitang on the restrained side so I can decide where it goes from there. Same reason I like seolleongtang arriving almost defiantly plain, give me the broth and let me dress it up myself with salt, saeujeot or whatever else I want. Han Yang has already made those decisions for you. The galbitang broth was noticeably sweet and salty and eventually it became a little much for me. That's preference as much as criticism, plenty of people will probably love it exactly as it arrives. I just wanted the volume turned down. The banchan was similarly mixed but mostly good. The napa kimchi was solid and nicely balanced. The kkakdugi was particularly good. The mustard greens, however, were ferociously sour. I like fermented food. These had me physically wincing. The dipping sauce for the galbi was excellent, though and I kept going back to it. Rice was average and a little dry. It did its job. Service was good and the whole experience was easy. The room itself has some age on it, tables are fairly close together and depending on where you're seated you may find yourself with a commanding view of the bathroom door. Nobody has ever requested the chef's table at the restroom, but here we are. Somehow I don't particularly mind any of it. Han Yang feels like a restaurant that knows what it is. It isn't polished into anonymity. People are here eating giant bowls of soup, mixing rice in scorching stone pots and getting on with their lives. And when a restaurant can put something as good as that gondre bibimbap in front of me, I can forgive a dry bowl of rice and a bathroom with excellent sightlines. Absolutely coming back. And next time, I'm getting that bibimbap again.

It was 95°F outside, and the dining room at Mr BBQ was unbearably hot. There was a sign in the waiting area mentioning the AC issue, but the waiting area was significantly cooler than the actual dining room, making it difficult to judge from the entrance just how uncomfortable it would be once seated. We were told the AC was running but that the ventilation from the grills was making the dining room hot. Regardless of the cause, we spent the entire meal sweating and feeling sick from the heat. When we finally walked outside, the 95°F outdoor air actually felt cooler than the dining room. They provided handheld fans, which was a nice gesture in theory, but the fans were visibly filthy and covered in food splatters. The bathrooms were also extremely dirty, with a sign mentioning plumbing issues. Plumbing problems don't excuse poor cleanliness. I understand that equipment issues happen, but this felt like a situation where the restaurant chose to keep operating rather than prioritize the comfort and cleanliness of its guests. For a restaurant charging what it does, that's disappointing. I will not be returning.

The stir-fried kimchi with tofu was another letdown--the amount of tofu was very small for $36.99. The food overall was tasty, but the service was one of the strangest experiences I've had. Our banchan (side dishes) didn't come until after the appetizer, and only because we asked. We also had to ask for water. Our appetizer arrived without any sauce, and later they brought soy sauce with wasabi, which wasn't even for our seafood pancake or fried dumplings. After all of our food was served, no one came back to check on us--not even once. I'm honestly not exaggerating. The staff kept disappearing, and at one point we saw them all eating lunch together in the dining area, which made us uncomfortable interrupting them. When we were ready to leave, we needed to-go boxes and the check, but no one was around. We finally had to ask a lady who had just clocked in. Our bill was over $300, and honestly, we didn't feel the service deserved a tip. This place is a hit or miss. The food is good, and that's the only reason I'd consider coming back.
