My first Time going here . There inside & outside patio area . We were seated quickly at a table that I grew quite fond of . I got an appetizer Queso w/ pickled pepper relish on the side Lord that relish was BOMB ! My daughter got the Avocado Bomb it was a salad and they both were DELICIOUS ! I ordered the Cheeseburger & fries and my daughter ordered the chicken and biscuits and I give a 9/10 rating ! Our server was mediocre not attentive , seem tired and nonchalant not enthusiastic at all . This is a kid friendly establishment and if you plan on dining in bring a sweater it was FREEZING. I would definitely go back I enjoyed myself . None of the staff was wearing mask so if that's a requirement of yours , don't go there read more

Unique location with a southern pub flare. Our favorite thing here is the moonshine flight where you can pick and chose your flavors (it's their most unique offering) and highly recommend it if you'd like to explore this drink. We have also dined in for brunch and lunch and they have a varied menu with a fun atmosphere specially for watching games. It's location is great with proximity to a large shopping area which makes it a good stop by during your shopping spree read more

Update********Sarah from Mash'd reached out and did two things. She apologized for the service issue and invited me back and she let me know that the Pot o' Goat that I adore is actually a discontinued dish, which absolutely explains why no one seemed to know how to make it. Apparently they still make it by request, so no one told me these past couple of months that it was discontinued lol. I'll miss it as it was a dish that I couldn't get anyplace else, but those wings y'all....those are what sexy dreams are made of! Stopped in for a quick bite before class. I thought about getting rocked out drunk before class but ultimately decided it was probably not a good idea to get belligerently drunk before a quiz. Turns out the outcome would probably have been the same as if I'd been lit out of my mind, so my bad. I do think every restaurant should have a pressure test that involves a person eating alone (yeah...I'm that person. Don't pity me. I don't have to share crap this way.) and it needs to be dreadfully slow. I say this because service typically craps out when you are just one lard ass and it's 2 in the afternoon. This was most definitely the case at Mash'd yesterday. I ordered a dish that isn't on the lunch menu. Why I don't know....it's on the dinner menu and it's an appetizer called Pot o' Goat. It's my last meal request but yesterday I really thought that dish should be put out of its misery. All it is is creamy goat cheese topped with a raspberry jam. It comes in a cute cast iron cauldron because typically (when done right) it arrives bubbling. Yesterday I ordered it and it took 22 minutes to get it. My server was working a bigger table outside so that bubbly goodness died in the window. It arrived cool and not hot and while it still looked bomb, it tasted blah. I asked for it to be reheated and it took 12 minutes to do it. It still arrived lukewarm. I felt like going back there and tossing it in a microwave but felt like that would be unpatron like. The saving grace here are the wings. You can get them a lot of different ways and I chose siracha ones. They arrived super crispy and very lightly covered in a sauce that had zero kick, but still; these are some of the best wings I've had. Service needs to step up but I will of course be back to make love to those wings. read more

Mash'D has been in my bookmarks for quite some time now. We finally decided to give it a try one Sunday and to be honest, the pictures look better then it taste. Don't get me wrong, the food was satisfying and tasty, but compared to the pictures and the name of the dish from the menu, my expectations were definitely set too high. I wouldn't blame the restaurant, but more from us just not ordering right. We ordered the hotdogs, chicken tacos, mash'd tater eggplosion, and chicken and biscuits. The quality of the hotdog was just your classic hotdog, however the chili on the dogs was amazing. A pretty meaty meal of course, The tater tots had absolutely not one single tater tot to be seen. It was just a plate of loaded mashed potatoes, which is never bad, but very heavy as an entree. Overall, I would say it's worth trying at least once. Learn from my review about the food and you could possibly have a 5 star experience if your ordered the right food. read more

Y'all let me tell you. I was born and raised in Virginia so I know so good shine when I had it and this place has it. Now granted it's not the real stuff I'm used to coming from a sketch looking guy in overalls but was for sure good. The menu selection was awesome and everyone enjoyed their food. I was with five other people and no one left unsatisfied that night. I got the burger, my friend got the chicken and biscuits, another got the ribs, and someone got the tacos. (I forget what the other person got). They all looked great and I was able to try the chicken and biscuits. It was a little on the salty side but still good. The burger I ordered was perfect and they have some amazing fries. A suggestion for those of y'all in a party. You can play something called shot roulette there. Basically tell your server how many shots you want and they will pick them out and randomly assign it. We did it and it was fun to see everyone try to guess until the check came and confirmed it. Their mixed drinks and some of the best out there. That knockout punch was awesome and I can see why they will only serve two to one guest. Also they have two happy hours. So even if you are going for a late night dinner you will still enjoy the happy hour prices until close. I can't tell you how much I loved it and that you should really go check it out! I'll be back ASAP. read more

Siracusa Garlic butter wings were soooooo good! The flavor was hitting. They were a great size and came freshly cooked. It was a total of 6 wings for $10. Worth the extra on your bill! Chicken and biscuits $15.49 is my favorite. lol literally get it every time I go. It's not your average chicken and biscuits at all. Very filling. I love their "gravy sauce. I always ask for extra even tho I don't need it at all. The chicken is tender enough to only need a fork to cut it. Not spicy at all so no worries on that. Meatloaf - $15.29-tangy abd thick! Lots of meat. Will definitely fill you up Agave Heat (Alcoholic drink ) $12- Fresh!! Very refreshing. Small glass tho. Our server nick was on top of it. Very polite. Quick. Made suggestions. Savvy with the menu. This is not my first time here. Just my first review. Each time I've come, the service has been the same. I will ass that I has The Knockout Drink. I had 2. Don't get 3! I think they limit you to 2 anyway lol. That's all that you need. Trust me. It's served in a solo cup which is cool. So definitely. Go to Mash'd! read more

Ok so the food here is excellent and worthy of a 5 star in itself. However, I'm not a huge fan of the atmosphere. The restaurant and its patrons give off a pretentious vibe, similar to what you would find in a brunch restaurant in one of the upper class LA communities. There were also a few obnoxiously drunk people there at noon time on a Saturday... I decided to give this 4 stars because I very much enjoyed my meal and thought everything was great! I wouldn't frequent this place because it's not my scene but I could definitely come back in the future to explore more of their menu. read more

It's been awhile since I've eaten here! My friend really has been wanting to try it out and I was curious to see if the menu had changed. We've been here many times and always leave satisfied. They have a great patio with plenty of open spacing, lots of greenery, misting fans, heaters, and huge table umbrellas. Can't go wrong with the fried chicken sandwich. I opt for hot sauce and add coleslaw to make it Nashville style. They have bbq, buffalo and several other options. Their fries are an upscale shoestring style which I'm not typically a fan of, but these are good. They keep a nice rotation of craft beers and and if you are a fan of moonshine and unique cocktails, look no further. read more

I really wanted to like this place. It's close to home, menu looks good online, great reviews. Ahhh but it was a total let down. Pros: 1.Good decor 2. Ample parking. 3. Strong drinks 4. Burgers are decent Cons: 1. Smells like cheap floor cleaner 2. Tables felt sticky 3. Menus were sticky and I didn't want to touch them 4. I got the bowl with the quinoa and I thought it tasted funny. But I figured it was a new type of dressing. Took a few more bites and I was like nope, can't do it. Had someone else try it and they instantly said it was SPOILED!!!! They served me super rotten food. The lights are low in there. I'm not able to see it well. I was so absolutely insulted. Like I know the chef saw that and said, "nah they won't notice, send it out anyway. ". Why would you do that?!! These people don't give a damn. That's why the restaurant was empty on a Sunday. The manager gave us a coupon to come back for $20 off. She said they tossed the whole quinoa supply in the back. I would have been happier with $20 off my bill. I am NEVER coming back. If you do go here, please be careful. You could end up with major food poisoning. This is not ok. read more

I absolutely love coming to this place whether it's for happy hour (which is 3 to 6 Monday through Thursday) or brunch (which is all day Sunday until three). For happy hour I love getting the knockout punch and for brunch I love getting the two dollar mimosas ! For brunch we got the omelette which slapped !!! And the french toast sandwich. Both were served with potatoes. They came out cold however we still ate them. We asked our server to bring us some ketchup to eat with them. However she seemed really annoyed and brought us some that was clearly already used. It had smears of ketchup all over the container, so we asked for another one which came out very clean. She seemed really annoyed with us and wanted us to leave. She brought out the check right when we finished our meal and did not even ask if we wanted more mimosas. We did so we told her we wanted a couple more. We got an eye roll at that point. However I have never seen this waitress here before. She probably will not last long. I will continue to come back because I will not let someone who clearly does not want to be at work effect a place that is so good ! read more

Yeah the aesthetic is cool w hipster type vibes but the food is nothing to call home about. I feel like they're trying for a organic type creative spin on brunch but it just wasn't good. Potatoes were cold. I had a French toast sandwich and it was clearly a chicken strip w a slice of American cheese slapped on it. At a steep $15. I ordered iced tea and it was overbrewed w that syrupy heavy taste. I will not be back. read more

This place is a favorite for my wife and I! Great casual place with good food and drinks and it's very reasonably priced. I normally get a an old fashioned. This is one of my favorites in town. My wife gets the knockout punch a lot of the time but it packs a punch. They have beer on tap and bottled too. Then many other drinks that are pretty good. I can say I have never had a bad meal here. The pizza is awesome! Bulgogi tacos are great! Oven backed chicken thighs are tasty AF. Great meatloaf. Service is pretty good too. Usually have great service and everyone working in there is pretty on point. read more

Really cool bar and a must try! I went out here with a girlfriend to meet up for drinks during the day. Since it was during the week and a little early for happy hour the place wasn't very busy. The set up inside is really cool but it was nice out so we sat on the patio. I ordered the jolly rancher and it was so cute, they bring the drinks in a mason jar and open them in front of you. The menu is amazing and I ordered the turkey burger. Our waitress was really sweet and kept coming by even once the place got packed for happy hour. She made great recommendations on drinks and the food. The food was excellent and we ordered a couple more drinks. (There is one that is a two drink limit). We will definitely be back again to this location. read more

Taylor and Kaeley (sorry if I misspelled it) along with a perceptive bareback made our experience notable. They were quite attentive! I enjoyed their personal commitment to excellence in service! I came here at the recommendation of a friend-thanks Heather! She said they had the best craft beer and really good moonshine although I will have to take her word for it since I just had water tonight. I found my entire experience to be extremely positive from the service to the food to the ambience. Lauren was our server and she was friendly and even asked if we planned on eating dinner or just having drinks so she knew how to best meet our needs. I appreciated that she took the time upfront to ask that and then check in with us accordingly. I ordered the turkey burger and fries. Holy kittens was it good! The flavor was amazing-seriously, I'd eat that turkey burger over a regular beef patty any day. And whatever seasoning they put on the fries I would buy in bulk if I knew what it was. I guess I'll have to come back to try the moonshine. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while! The blueberry mojito was my favorite drink, which was actually my friend's drink. I tried the pineapple bomb and organic berry smash, and the berry drink was a little too sweet for me. I loved the wedge salad! The lettuce was very fresh and crisp and the bacon and croutons gave it a delicious crunch. They do have a gluten free menu for those who are interested!! The spinach and corn dip wasn't bad but I do love their chips. Next time I'd like to try the queso. I'd go back again! read more

We've been to Mash'd several times and have always enjoyed our time, staff is always friendly and attentive for how busy they are. Drinks and apps are quick and light, the hot honey that comes with the fried pepperoni is so good! Drinks are good and it's what most come for. Happy hour. I was there for dinner. Been twice and I found service was really good and food was decent both times. I think the only thing that got to me was the atmosphere. It's really geared towards adult drinking. Not a family friendly vibe I wanted. Bathrooms are way too dark. Overall I don't think I'll come back but I did like the food for the most part. Maybe good for a date night sans children read more

I had been here before and thought I remembered liking it, so I took my parents for a late lunch. First off, when we walk in the music is blaring like it's Friday night at a bar, then the service was soooooo slow and when we finally got the food it was cold. I will state that the mashed potatoes were good...even cold. Probably won't be going back. :( read more

First time at this restaurant and there were some really cool things that will probably bring us back. I really like the atmosphere as there was a 70's and 80's theme in the bar with a lot of familiar characters from my childhood. I don't remember the name of my drink but it comes in a red cup and the limit is two. It was really good and flavorful. My wife has a Mule of some kind that was more ice than drink but they fixed it. The chicken fried pepperoni was amazing, I would highly recommend it. I went left and ordered the hot dogs and they were really good. I was very impressed and will probably order them again. The star of the show for me was the Caesar Salad, the dressing was great!! I will definitely check this place out again. read more

I met up with my brother for brunch on a Sunday. Upon walking in I immediately felt the really cool vibe, the music was blaring, the restaurant was full of people sitting inside and on the patio, it reminded me of the restaurants in L.A. type of vibe. We sat at the bar which also has bar seating on the patio. My brother initially ordered a beer and then switched to an infused bloody Mary consisting of vodka, tomato, garlic jalapeño house bloody Mary mix, he mentioned that it had a great taste. I ordered a mimosas ur rather champagne with a splash of orange juice lol (see picture). I wasn't very hungry so we shared the chicken and biscuit-cheddar biscuits, gravy and your able to add 2 eggs your way. I decided on the fried eggs while my brother chose scrambled. Overall we loved this dish, the chicken was juicy and flavorful, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the biscuits very tasty, fluffy and light. I have been in again to try the pizza which I wasn't a fan of due to the dough being to thick. read more

I have lived in Frisco for a while now and just gave this place a try. I am honestly upset I have not been here sooner because of how amazing it was! We arrived around 8:15 pm on a Friday and were greeted and sat promptly even though it was pretty busy. Our server Caroline was so sweet and attentive. Caroline made sure we had everything we needed and was super quick. Now the food was absolutely amazing. I had the Outlaw Burger but substituted the impossible patty with the side of fries. The burger was good and the garlic aioli is what made it special. Now the real show stopper was the fries and the house made ketchup. I love shoestring fries and these were great with the seasoning. The ketchup though is what made the fries even better. You can tell it's made fresh and I would go here again solely just for the ketchup and fries. My friends had the wings with the tx hot honey sauce and they said that it was the best wing sauce they've ever had and would most definitely do the 12 count next time instead of the 6. My friends also had the Caesar salad and added chicken to it and they liked it as well, but in the end it was just a salad and nothing to brag too much about. Overall I would definitely come back and recommend this spot to anyone in the area looking for a great spot to eat that will not break the bank! read more

We decided on this place after deciding against a restaurant across the street. As we walked in we were overtaken by the smell of pine sol. We were seated in a booth and noticed a foul odor which we uncovered were coming from the menus. It smelled like they were just wiped down with a dirty rag. I was starving so we stayed and waited it out. I'm happy we did because outside of those two items, this place is phenomenal. I had the reject burger and my friend had the swole bowl. Both were absolutely amazing! So amazing that we stopped by the following day for lunch and ordered the same thing. My friend added the grilled shrimp to his swole bowl this go around and he couldn't stop talking about it. This is definitely a must if you're in the Frisco area. read more

You definitely don't have to worry about having the same old thing here as you would from other places. This place offers a spin on the items they offer. Very well decorated restaurant..love the display of all the moonshine glasses! The service was good and the food was good as well. We had the "legit guacamole" to start and it was pretty good, when lime and salt were added. I like the pineapple they add to the guacamole. I ordered the Avocado Bomb salad and it was soooooo good!!! Perfectly dressed and all of the flavors complimented each other. My daughter had the Rustic salad and loved it as well! Headed here for a late lunch with a homie. I was so excited to try this menu, but our dining experience started off rocky. Parking: B- Location: B Customer Service: C Food Quality and Beverages: B- Drinks...Jolly Ranger; tequila, watermelon and lime. Sounds like a pefect combination until you drink it...YUCK!!! I can't begin to describe the taste, but it was very unpleasant. That drink was returned and exchanged for a knockout punch. Knockout Punch; Now this drink HIT THE SPOT!!! I was disappointed that there was a two drink limit with this drink. It was strong but not that strong to cap it off at two per customer. My friend ordered the queso which was extremely thick and greasy which left a gritty afterwards. So we returned that dish as well by now our table has probably been flagged as "COMPLAINERS SECTION FIVE" lol...so from there on out the manager became our server. He checked on us various times throughout the rest of our dining experience. Which I can say was more than our previous waitress Kim did. She tried very hard to come check on us, but she wasn't constant. We finally decided to order some food. She order the fried chicken salad with a side of mashed potatoes. I opted for the 6 pc wings with garlic broccoli. Now we didn't have any complaints with our food, everything was EXCELLENT. If you like bar food or light quick snacks this is differetly a spot to check out. I wouldn't really recommend their mixed drinks, however they have plenty of wine and beer to choose from. I won't be returning here, but I am glad I marked this location off my "TO DINE" list. read more

I didn't realize that this establishment specializes in moonshine. It's different from the traditional alcohol options, which I liked. But, hey, this might be super common in Texas. I really have no idea. After realizing that it's a moonshine-ery, I ordered a fruity moonshine flight. It came with apple pie, coconut, peach, and blackberry (I'm not positive about the last one). I took sips of each of them and realized that they were not the "sip" kind of drink. They tasted pretty strong. I'm a lightweight though, so I wouldn't say that for everyone. They ended up giving me a pretty good buzz. "Constant companion" and I also ordered the chicken fried pepperonis to share. Who comes up with that? Seriously. And, they serve them with "Chuck Norris gravy." It's orange and has shredded chicken and corn in it. Again, who comes up with that? Despite being really creative, the fried pepperonis and gravy weren't mind blowing. Honestly, I enjoyed telling people that I ate chicken fried pepperonis more than I enjoyed eating them. CC also got a really cheap beer. Is $5 cheap beer in Dallas? Also, can I call Frisco "Dallas" or is that blasphemous? The whole metro blends together to me currently. We decided to just get the drinks/app (partly because the menu is a little confusing and mostly because nothing else popped out at me). I don't think I'll go out of my way to ever come back here, but it's a cool place. read more

My husband and I came in for lunch on Saturday around 12:15. We were given brunch menus. Their brunch menu is tiny. Not a ton of options and nothing gluten free. I really dislike the menu set up. They try to be cute by doing a newspaper style. However it grossed me out. Black ink rubs off on your fingers and there's no way to clean/sanitize the menu so you have to read off the same paper menu as the person before you. I asked our waitress if there was a regular lunch menu since I couldn't eat off the brunch menu. She brought me their lunch/dinner menu which has a lot more options and the ability to edit food for a food allergy. For my meal I ordered the turkey burger with a Caesar salad. It was by far the worst turkey burger I have ever had. It was so dry and tasted like it was loaded with salt. The menu said the burger came with a aioli sauce on it. However mine had absolutely none. I was given just tomatoes, avocado, lettuce and cheese with my burger. Service was decent. Our waitress was very sweet but never came to check on us between when we ordered and after we were finished. A different waiter dropped off our food. Overall an ok place. Do NOT order the turkey burger. It's horrible. Anything else on the menu has to be better than that. read more

These kinds of restaurants remind me of chain restaurants that never actually becomes chain. The menu is a bit random with no central theme, the inside also has no central theme, and the food is great but not outstanding. If you're going with a group of people for a quick bite, then this is a great location. The Avocado Bomb salad was great although I asked for an add on of salmon and didn't receive it, it wasn't needed. I couldn't put down the queso which I unfortunately didn't grab a picture of but I do recommend it.
