That spicy chicken tika sauce yes!…read more Came here for dinner on a Sunday night and it wasn't too crowded. The restaurant is nice with a few tables for dining in but there is also an order at the counter for pick up and to go orders. My bf and I decided to order some veggie momos to start and decided to share the chicken tika and the chickpea masala. The waiter was very nice and attentive and quickly took our order. The momos came with a yummy sauce which we enjoyed as we dipped each Momo with ever bite. When the chicken tika came out it was sizzling and smoking and it was so loud because it was on a hot cast iron dish and it smelled so good! The chicken tika came with this super tasty, spicy dipping sauce which I had never had with this dish before, and it really blew us away! I wanted a bucket of this sauce on all my meats! ASAP! The chicken was super tender and juicy and the sauce made it irresistible! We really liked this dish and quickly finished it. We each should of gotten our own order of chicken tika! The naan bread with the chickpeas masala was perfect and our rice was nice and fluffy. We thought we were going to have leftovers but we literally wiped our plates clean! Everything was delicious, savory and so good! We will definitely be back for that chicken tika and spicy sauce and this time I'm not sharing! Hahaha!

The curry is rich and buttery with perfect spices. Lamb Saag: the lamb is incredibly tender, it's some of the best we've ever had. Again, the saag curry is really tasty and well spiced. Samosas (Veg. and meat): both samosas are delicious, and it's nice that they have a crisp flavorful wrapper that's not greasy. The interior of the vegetable samosa is full, warm, and spicy. Garlic Naan: soft, garlic-y, and the perfect accompaniment to the curry. Mango Lassi: the perfect treat to go with any meal. Its sweet and cuts through the warm spices of the curry. We're consistently impressed with the quality, flavor, and timely preparation of our food.

My husband always goes for the chicken tikka masala, which is so aromatic and flavorful. And we can't forget the Vietnamese coffee! The ube and pandan flavors are both so good. I really appreciate that even though Aama Lama is a Nepalese restaurant, they incorporate Vietnamese flavors and influences into the menu. As Vietnamese people, we love that fusion and how naturally it comes through in the food. Everything feels thoughtful, comforting, and full of flavor!

This is like a store front locale, so the ambiance is pretty much what you make of it. Small inside but, it has some tables to eat inside, and we did just that. I ordered from Curry Express, via GrubHub, based on good reviews. The good reviews are a lie…read more I tried contacting GH support. Even their AI bot was concerned. Was transferred to some "real" agent named "Jester" who definitely lives up to his name Order was a little late, but that's no big deal. What *is* a big deal is that the driver called to say he was here. I went to meet him and there was nobody in sight. I went into my house a few steps to grab my phone and call him back, and as I was about to go call from my porch, dude was ENTERING MY HOME. First he wasn't there, then he was entering my home. What the heck?!?! I explained all of this to the chat, and the AI bot IMMEDIATELY said "this is a very concerning incident. I am transferring you immediately to a live agent" 15 minutes later, this "Jester" clown says he is sorry my order is late and please give him a moment to call for an ETA. I told him he clearly had not read what actually happened, and I copy and pasted the conversation with the bot for him. Then he says something else completely irrelevant about the order being wrong, and so I again pointed to the previous chat with the BIGGER PROBLEM of the DRIVER ENTERING MY HOME, and he told me I "need to be appropriate" (I called him illiterate and he deserved it) I told him I am totally appropriate to be shaken up, as a disabled person whose house was just entered by a stranger. He disconnected the chat and asked for a rating. If I could give zero stars, I would give negative 85 stars. The package wqs tampered with, so nothing is edible, and the tea wasn't even there. Also no utensils. Probably because he used them to eat half of my food. I want my money back. I am poor, and was trying to order something because I don't really have anything in the house right now, but as someone on a fixed income $48 is a lot for me to lose EDIT: CURRY EXPRESS IS LYING SCUM. They just replied to this review (ceoss-posting here on Yelp from Google) at 3am claiming that they have no order from me, nor any order including tea. They also said that GrubHub handles delivery through their app, which is NOT the case for Curry express. They also completely ignored the fact that THEIR DRIVER ENTERED MY HOME. As in they came in through my porch, through my hallway, and into my living space, which is absolutely NOT OKAY. Here is absolute proof that I ordered from them, that it WAS via GrubHub, and that the RESTAURANT handles delivery. See also: i ordered tea.

Server is nice and friendly. Service was a bit slow due to their staff lunch hours but food came out within 15-20 mins. I ordered their mango lassi, chicken pakora, and lamb rogan josh. Mango lassi is refreshing and retains its mango taste. Chicken pakora is tender and juicy with a strong cumin taste. The sauce is runny but rich. Definitely excellent. Lamb rogan josh is awesome too. The lamb was nicely cooked. It's not gamey and the broth was rich and thick. Definitely a good substitute for lamb vindaloo.
