Masala Heaven is a delicious Indian food place in Cicero. I have been there twice so far and will include both experiences. Right off the bat, this is the kind of place to go to dine in at. I preferred my dine in experience, finding the takeout experience to have a different quality, less food. Dining in was fantastic, the naan arrived warm, and I couldn't finish my food. There was a ton of lamb in my curry, and the flavors were exceptional. Two unique things to Masala Heaven are their fusion pizzas and unique ice cream. The tikka pizza is really good and super well priced, it also worked well for takeout. The service was really great for dine in, with a comfortable and quiet setting. It is a great option to have for dates or being able to talk to someone easily.

When I die take me to Masala Heaven!!! This location is unassuming at first. The big open parking lot, the trampoline park next door. When we drove up I wasn't sure I picked the right place for dinner. Then we stepped inside. Immediately we are greeted by our waiter who was so friendly. This is a big restaurant with plenty of seating, a view into the kitchen, they also have TVs. We start with the Samosas and Paneer pakora. Omg... delicious doesn't even begin to describe it. Honestly the more impressive part was the lineup of sauces they brought out for us to dip our appetizers in. FOUR unique sauces, all bursting with flavor. Then we get to the entrees. I have had lots of butter chicken over the years, and I don't know what they did with this one that made it SO good, but whatever it I am so glad I got to taste it. If you're in the area I would highly recommend this place. And no need to be afraid of a little spice, they ask you what spice level you want so it's customizable to your taste. ;)

Went for the buffet. The owners were very nice. They had a great variety to choose from. I liked the chicken biryani. Kadai chicken and goat curry. Very pleasant atmosphere. Would go again

As soon as I walked in I was welcomed with decorations and an environment that filled me with warmth and comfort. Previously the location was a Modern Malt and I didn't see many changes to the inside apart from new decorations that were more in theme with the food being served. the service I received was excellent, they were very attentive to what i wanted and every now and then asked if I needed anything, and I had no problems whatsoever. For my food I ordered a shrimp appetizer, the Shrimp Manchurian and Chicken Madras, as I had heard good things about it but never found any places that served it until now. There was also a buffet available and I was given a plate incase I wished to go up and get food, but I didn't try it this time. The appetizer was delicious, with a bit of a kick to it from the spice, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly and served with plenty of sauce. As for my Chicken Madras, it was astounding! I felt like I was eating a nice soup from the comfort of my home as the flavor of the chicken and curry melted in my mouth. The curry itself was also well seasoned, and creamy, with a subtle spice to it that didn't ruin the flavor, but added onto it. Also included was an extremely large bowl of rice, which felt overwhelming as I scooped some into my Chicken Madras, but the bowl seemed endless. Overall, I had a great lunch, and an awesome first impression to a new restaurant in the area. I definitely believe if you like Indian food, or want to try it that you should definitely consider checking out Masala Heaven!

Had to leave a review since the current rating is not a proper reflection of the food, service and ambiance of this restaurant. As a decades long Indian food obsessed person, this is the best Indian food you will find in this area. Yes, I've tried the others around here, no, they are not better. I had the clearly freshly made, properly spiced Malai Kofta with Naan and basmati rice. Papadums with various chutneys to start. Service was attentive, the place is very clean and nicely decorated. I'll come back to try the buffet but as far as a la carte, it's pretty good.

The service was fine, I did the buffet and they brought out water with lemon and gave me a menu to order drinks. The interior was bright and very clean and the booth was comfy. The buffet had a nice variety including vegetarian dishes. The samosa and tamarind chutney were not that good in my opinion. I have had better. The other dishes had a good flavor but some dishes had tough chicken and it wasn't tender. My main issue was none of the food on the buffet was hot. It was lukewarm at best despite me going right when they open. Maybe if you order off the menu the dish comes out hot and fresh? With so many great options for Indian food and Indian buffets I probably will not be back.

The food is so flavorful and service is great! We ordered the Chicken 65, Butter Chicken, and Biryani Chicken. All was delicious

Love this place. I go almost every week for the buffet. Good food selection. Fresh and delicious. Very clean.

NOW!…read more Don't be fooled by the looks of this place, I promise you, you will receive some of the best food you've ever had in your life! I stopped in on wing Wednesday, and boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat. On Wednesdays, their wings are .75 cents per wing, a minimum of 10 per order. So, in true foodie fashion, I decided to order some for "now and later." I chose their Val wings, Salt & Pepper, and Korean BBQ. We also ordered a Cheesesteak, I had been told by 2 people that this was the best cheesesteak in town, and I just had to try it for myself. Let's start with their wings. Are they a great value ? Yes! Were they amazing? Also, yes! These wings were simply great. Great size, great flavor profile, just great across the board! I can't imagine coming here and not ordering their wings. So good! You're probably thinking, well, what about the cheesesteak... well, I can assure you that the 2 people who suggested I try it did not steer me wrong. This cheesesteak was delicious!!! Full of tender steak, toppings, and loaded with cheese just how I love it. To make matters even better on Tuesdays, you can order a loaded cheesesteak & fries for only $8. The Old Ledge is truly a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, amazing bar staff, and a phenomenal cook!

They were also so kind to give me a complimentary glass of prosecco to celebrate my birthday. Wednesdays are $2 off all cider and wines so my friends enjoyed that deal as well. The Wedge changes their menu on a weekly basis so I was excited to see what was on this weeks menu so naturally we had to get multiple dishes to share in order to try as much as possible. We ordered two pasta dishes, truffle fries for the table, and brussel sprouts to share family style and we didn't leave a crumb behind! All the dishes were more unique than a typical pasta dish you may find elsewhere which was extra fun and soo delicious! The brussels were so soft and topped with so much flavor. I would love to come again to try their brunch menu and continue coming throughout the year to try many new items as their menu rotates. I really wanted to try their mac and cheese so I am determined to come back at the right time for that one!

Cocktails were imaginative with a wide variety. Personally tried to Ceasar Salad Martini for something different and the Berry the Hatchett for my favorite kinda of of cocktail. Spicy! Loved both. Ceasar Salad Martini truly tasted like a light ceasar salad. All the food was fantastic, shrimp bisque, poached pear salad, steak with fabulous mashed potatoes, and one of the best lava cakes I've ever had and a shockingly good combo of Basque cheesecake and blood orange. And not to mention their cheese platter to start the night! Staff was friendly. Inside is cute and cozy, feels like an upscale Cafe with adorable artwork. Great place for a special occasion or just a catch up date night. Cannot wait to go back.

I didn't let that deter me and was led to a table by the hostess who greeted me immediately upon my entrance. (I actually got to pick my table). She told me my server would be with me shortly which gave me time to look at the screen and pick a beer. There were happy hour specials and a full range of cocktails from the bar but I wanted a beer. When my waitress arrived soon after, I chose the Talking Cursive Rhubarb Raspberry Pie as I like the sours. It was a wonderful choice. It was tasty and had a sharp taste that I really like. While she went to get that I decided on the Lemon Garlic Shrimp dinner. I ordered that and it came with a salad that was out quickly, on a cold plate and crisp and fresh. I had time to enjoy that prior to the arrival of my entree. All the while the restaurant/bar area continued to fill up with people for the private party. This didn't take anything away from the diners though as the pace of the food was excellent as was the service. When my dinner did arrive, it was the perfect portion, and served with garlic bread. The shrimp were large and the lemon garlic was flavorful but didn't overwhelm the linguine. It wasn't a pasta dish drowning in sauce or juices. It had just the right combination to be tasty but not "sloppy". My waitress continued to check on me and as busy as it was for a Monday I never felt rushed, hurried or forgotten. As a bonus, there was spring training baseball on two of the TVs which is always a win in my book. After this solo outing, I chose to go back a few days later when a friend and I went out for dinner (and loved that meal as well)

The wife and I stopped in on a Saturday right at opening time. We were sat and given menus immediately. We decided to share a burger and fries and an order of tenders. We ordered the blue suede shoes - a burger topped with cheddar, bacon, lettuce, tomato, carmelized onions, pickles and house remoulade and an order of hot stuff buffalo tenders. Our food was brought relatively quickly and we enjoyed everything. Fries were fresh, crispy and seasoned, burger was cooker perfectly, the tenders were fresh, crispy, saucy and had just the slightest kick of heat to them.
