I got the spicy chicken sandwich with tater tot's a little pricey for combo but the sandwich I would say out of all the fast food places I would say this is the best fried chicken sandwich out of all the fast food place, the tator tots were really good nice and crispy little bit expensive but overall really tasty fried chicken sandwich. read more

Decided to try this place because of its reputation for using high-quality chicken. The chicken preparation actually reminded me of KFC; the batter wasn't as crunchy, and the meat was a bit dry. But their potato wedges completely won me over! They had a crispy, creamy batter and a perfectly seasoned, mushy interior. Hands down, their wedges are better than the chicken. This is the first Mary Brown's I've ever had and the food was good. You get large pieces of chicken, including the drumstick, thigh, and chicken breast. The chicken is juicy on the inside. The outside is crispy, flavorful, and well seasoned. The taters (aka potato wedges) are also tasty, but they're not my favorite. The staff here is quite nice. Sometimes you may not get the quantity of chicken that you ordered and the staff will make it right. Mary Brown's is a welcome addition to the food choices in this area and definitely gives the KFC across the street a run for their money. read more

A new Mary Brown location opened up recently at Keele & Rutherford and it has become a regular lunch spot! The location is always clean, staff are extremely friendly and food is always made within a reasonable amount of time while still being nice and hot. My favorite go-to menu item is the 5-piece tenders, paired with their honey dill dipping sauce (pictured above, for $9.49 plus tax). It's great to know that they cut their real chicken in store and the breading is light. We've also tried their snack-size chicken pop-ins which are a little more on the salty-side as it's mostly breading and less chicken but has a nicer crunch ($3.79 plus tax). read more

Great value compared to other chains. Pieces are huge compared to KFC. Better flavor than Popeye's and Jolly Bees and nearly as crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Their chicken combo is amazing, the place is clean and relatively new. Their fries are delicious. This is truly competition to KFC and Popeyes. Their staff had amazing customer service and extremely friendly and helpful. Next time I visit I will try the both the Big and Little Mary Chicken sandwiches. Perfect! Now that I have your attention, this has to be the BEST chicken and tater place... EVER! Before this was a Mary Browns Chicken, it was a Country Style Donuts, which got burned down and then a different owner shuttered the place down. Then, Tosta moved in and didn't do well. Mary Browns is going to be part of the Vaughan and surrounding communities for a long time! The chicken is crisp, not greasy, served hot and the batter is delicious! From the beginning, when the franchise opened here, I was at the front door before they even had doors open to the public! A lady came out, greeted my kids and myself, and gave her business card with a free chicken sandwich offer. We definitely went back and were beyond impressed and satisfied! We went several times after that... We were NEVER disappointed. Canadian company, fresh and hot chicken and taters! The gravy too... full of flavor. Now, the best part! Spicy chicken is available now. I tried spicy from other places... It's never spicy. However, I decided to give this a try. OMG OMG OMGGGGGG This is incredible! It's not overly spicy.
