We raved about our mutual love for all things wings (especially flats), and he suggested this place. He's a local, born and raised in Toronto, so I figured his opinion on the best wings had to be accurate. And boy was I right!!! Appropriately named, Crave Wings unlocked the key to my heart with the first bite! As I take a gulp-sized swallow to avoid drooling at the memory of the deliciousness I experienced here. Both the wings and fries were phenomenally yummy! I decided to dine inside because I wanted to experience everything fresh and hot! By the time I was finished, there was nothing left except bones and the container they came in. I look forward to going back, again and again. And AGAIN!!

I personally love dry rubs when it comes to wings. - Garlic Cajun: flavourful and crispy - Salt & Pepper: ordinary, nothing special - Kansas BBQ: tangy and slightly spicy Highly recommend Garlic Cajun and Kansas BBQ. Service was friendly despite they're always busy. They do takeouts mainly but there are about 20 seats for dine-in. On the left side of restaurant, you see a wall in yellow with their logo on. On the right side of the restaurant which is the table side, there are walls with different popular mangas, from One Piece to Naruto to Demon Slayer.

The chicken was a little tough, portion was decent. But because the flavour was a little, mild. The garlic parm was a little heavy, and too creamy. We weren't able to eat the entire order. Chicken tasted a little over done. Poutine - too much gravy, not enough cheese curds. Fries were crispy, and was just ok. Loaded Parm fries - creamy, way too heavy to finish. Wasn't a fan. Overall, tried to give this place a chance but wasn't a huge fan. Not sure if I'll be coming back.

The Hot Honey Wings were crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly sauced, balancing sweet & spicy flavors in every bite. I also tried their Buttered Cauliflower, and it was a game-changer--crispy outside, buttery inside, and packed with flavor! Beyond the food, the service was amazing--Balu and his girlfriend made me feel right at home. They even offered bottled water & a glass of ice--a small but thoughtful touch. Onto the wings now - ordered super hot as I like spicy food. These were actually hot and had my nose running by about the 3rd wing. Wings were not small, but not large either - it was good regular sized - got about 9 wings in the one pound order. It was drenched in sauce which I liked. The fries were nothing extraordinary - seemed like these were frozen fries (1 star off for that). Overall - I would go back.

(Eating experiences before or after crossing the international border between the State of New York…read moreand Canada - 2 of 2) I needed to eat and this place - St. Louis Bar and Grill - was in close proximity and among the few open late. I saw what they have to offer front and center and it's neither the product nor the ambiance I seek: ribs, wings, a loud sports bar with big TVs everywhere, and alcohol, thus perfect for backslappers. I figured they would have something I might like to eat. Before walking over to St. Louis Bar and Grill, I had spotted fish and chips on-line. I went in, the look was true to form to what I was expecting, and was greeted and seated right away. The big TVs do dominate the locale and deal with the local religion - hockey. The resto-bar was clean. A menu was brought over quickly. The server immediately made me aware of the nightly specials. It changed what I would order. I appreciated that. I settled on a burger platter, to which I added cheese. With it, I had a root beer. (The special that night was the burger platter and one could have it with their lower cost domestic beers, or something without alcohol.) Rounding out the platter was a nice serving of fries ... the kind with the ridges ... and they were good. The platter took a while to come to the table. However, given how good it was, this didn't matter. They got it right. The final tab was to my liking. I added a tip to reflect how welcoming and good natured the service was. Note that, even though later hours are kept, the kitchen closes a little earlier. Not knowing the landscape, it then became apparent that St. Louis Bar and Grill is a chain, albeit a sports bar that would, in my opinion, channel wings and ribs from places in the U.S. Lastly, it's less than 2 large blocks from the terminus station of TTC Line 1 up at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.
