I purchased an item on the weekend that was marked down by about 20%. After trying it at home, I needed a smaller size and I took it back today, but they would NOT exchange it fir the sale price. I asked for a manager who then said that the different size came in at a different date than what I purchased. I have not in my 25 yrs of shopping with Marshall's had this kind of poor customer service. Generally the Mgr makes things better or offers the customer some explanation that is acceptable. I've been a loyal customer for Marshalls for many many years! But not anymore, like for real who hires people and make them mangers when they don't know anything about management, I was there to return an item I bought for almost 300$ that I had couple days ago, she wouldn't return it, when I had the receipt with me. I would've agreed with her if she spoke nicer, but she was rude she thought she owns Marshall's for a second the way she treated me looks like I'm begging her for money! And what's funny is my receipt total was above 600$ like I mean I have the right to like and dislike my purchases and return it, ( she literally told other employees "if they come next time, they can't exchange or return any items") is this a customer service??!!!!! This place was alright. Got a couple mugs and a Christmas tray. I felt like there wasn't much in clothes though. Clothing section wasn't as big as other locations I've been too. Everyone was really nice though and went when it wasn't as busy so I guess that was a plus. Otherwise not my favorite location. read more

Been coming here for years, it's always hit or miss with clothes, purses, perfume, shoes, home-stuff etc. - I love the variety, the name brands and the great prices. That's not my issue. You walk in, you're greeted, and there is hand sanitizer right there, with a person or two offering you a cart. It's nice. That's not my issue. I was here two weeks ago and I noticed that even through my mask, the smell of old pungent urine permeates the women's restroom. It's SO BAD!! I feel bad for the employees as well as the consumer. I stopped in again tonight and the smell was some how worse. And there was no soap, no hand sanitizer....nothing!! Luckily I had some sanitizer in my purse. This is a health concern, and I won't be back. So nasty! read more

Marshalls in Orland Park is a store that you have to carefully take your time to sort around the junk and trash. This store is always messy, especially in the beauty/ hair care aisles. Sometimes you can find a great, brand name conditioners and hair products and purchase it for cheap. But normally their shelves are understocked and unorganized. The floors look dirty and need to be redone. The clothing and purses are all old and outdated so I feel that they are overpriced. The Matteson store is a better location. read more

This store is kind of a mess. Like, no organization whatsoever. The home section was really bad, with lots of merchandise on the floor. That said, I wound up with a nice over the door rack for coats (winter is coming people) for only $10. The cashier was very nice. A better bargain shopping experience can be had in nearby Nordstrom Rack. read more

I went there (and to its sister TJMaxx in Tinley Park) and both stores have no inventory on the floor. My first thought was they're going under, but who knows? I did read that the parent company fared well during covid but you would never guess it from this store. I don't know why it took 10 min for a manager to come for this poor worker who had been threatened !!!!! Harassed!!!!!! And spit on !!!!!!! Bullied !!!!!!! Had to endure religious racist comments about her hijab By an ignorant customer !!!!!! The manager didn't even call the police !!!!!!!! The other customers did !!! What's the issue you might ask ? Simply because this ignorant customer is asking the employee weather she should pay with a credit card or cash?! Why I'm the world would you ask a complete stranger what type of payment you should use ?!!!!!!!!!!! I walked into Marshall's about 10 minutes after opening and the store already looked dirty and disorganized. I went in to look for a winter jacket and after picking out 3 I walked over to the dressing room where the elderly female worker was giving me a dirty look. I walked up to her and politely said "I have 3. Thank you". She proceeds to tell me in a rude, sarcastic way "Winter coats are to be tried on outside of the fitting room. That's why there's mirrors everywhere." As I already had a larger jacket on I couldn't try the coats over it. I understand if this is store policy but the attitude and sarcastic pointing to the mirrors in the store was unnecessary. I will not be returning to this location if this is how employees act. read more

Meh. I don't know. That's really the best way to describe it. However, I am a woman, so I'll find a way to add a lot of words... My counterpart had to make a stop into the CompUSA which is right next door, so he dropped me off here and I went in for the first time. Not that impressed. I kind of thought that it was a total shit show. I know that stores tend to have different layouts, but I just felt like this was particularly disorganized. Do they even have a juniors section? I just found the selection to be weak as well. I ended up finding some items, but I was not fond of my experience. Not to mention, I was looking at some last minute items by the register and I heard a "next person go to counter 3" and I walked passed it accidentally, and the snappy black girl behind the counter goes "IT'S RIGHT HERE, 3, IT'S MARKED". EW. Maybe you need to have them marked in a way that's not IN BETWEEN two registers. Turned off. Never going back. read more

I enjoyed this Marshalls. It's not as conventional as the other Marshalls I've been to, but it was still nice. It was decently organized. I only had trouble finding items because it was the first time I'd been to this particular Marshalls. I ended up spending more than I originally planned, but that's what happens with usual Marshalls trips. This Marshalls' entrance is somewhat odd though, as it shares a building with a Bed Bath and Beyond; the entrance area smells like a pool for some reason. The checkout lines were fast and efficient. Nothing spectacular in the form of customer service, however I had no major complaints. read more

I tried the Orland Park Marshall's thinking they would have a wider selection, but all I found was extreme disorganization and a dirty store. Clothing thrown on the floor, things like throw pillows had stains on them, some beauty products such as makeup were open and used, and a few items were actually damaged. I know they receive a lot of foot traffic in this store but something has to be done to rectify this. I wish I could say I found what I was looking for but it was a waste of time. I actually had better luck at the Oak Lawn Marshall's location which is cleaner and stocks more unique brand name items. read more

You really can't go wrong with Marshall's. I was there today and was able to get a father's day gift, three birthday gifts, and some running capris for myself for $80. They always have brand name stuff for cheap and the staff there is friendly. read more

I wouldn't recommend this store at all. I had a discriminatory experience here. I paid for my items via Samsung Pay. The cashier denied the charge (I know this because my bank provided me proof of this). The cashier then began to state loudly tgat my card was declined and I needed another form of payment. The bank charge had already eent through but the girl insisted my card was denied. I paid with a separate card for the same amount. After I left the store, I came back to speak with a manager and ended up speaking with a front end associate. She laughed at me. Along with the manager I spoke to when I called the store later that evening to report that I was doubly charged earlier in the day. Corporate is no better as they claimed someone would contact me regarding the issue and I have yet to receive that call from the store manager. I promptly returned my entire purchase and will never shop st Marshall's again, especially one located in areas like that. They discriminate and seek to embarrass people when they are in the wrong. I hope no one of color supports this particular store, as you are sure to be stereotyped and discriminated against by ill-prepared employees and management. read more

This store is decent and they usually have pretty good stuff at a pretty good deal. That's not the point today. I went with my mom and I had some of my stuff from before in a plastic shopping bag. My mom set it down on the floor and then walked away without noticing. When my mom went to ask someone about the bag, a girl apparently tried to help her find it but didn't really seem to care that much. After that I was furious and got into a line. I see someone Turing in the bag and I asked them for it and they just look at me and completely ignore me. That's great top notch right there and then I go to check out and ask this other lady for the bag and she tries to ARGUE with me and tell me that no one turned in a bag when I literally watched someone do it about 30 seconds prior. She told me that she was a manager as well. I had to keep repeating myself and tell her that someone gave it to the other girl. She didn't even seem like she believed me though. Even when she found the bag she seemed like she didn't want to give it to me. She has a serious attitude problem and I didn't appreciate that at all. read more

I have been going to this Marshall for 5 years. Every time I use the dressing room it's dirty and dusty. I come out of there with the bottom of my pants dirty from the floor. I'm allergic to dust so as soon I enter the room I start sneezing. I brought it up to one of the manager, she gave me some lame excuse like I don't know what I'm talking about. But I did took some picture for the next time I'm there. Better yet maybe I need to hold their hands and actually point it out to them. Maybe I just need to go to the one in Ford city mall Marshall. I just arrived from a horrible experience at the Marshalls located at 101 Orland Park Pl Orland Park Il. The store had just opened so it was empty except for me and my two boys. We picked out some clothes for them and went to the dressing rooms. That is where we met with Carolyn, the worker that forgot how to treat customers. I have two boys, 12 and 8 that don't undress in front of each other anymore. This Carolyn worker actually tried insisting that me and my sons not take up 2 dressing rooms. Again the store was Empty!! Wow my kids are trying to buy clothes at the store and she's asking me to move one so as to free up a dressing room? Carolyn needs a vacation or needs to be trained on how to treat customers so that they want to shop at their store in the future. read more

I went into this store and had a very bad experience with the workers after they had me travel an hour for a shoe that they supposedly had on hold for me after another store called to confirm that they had the shoe, very disappointed once I got there not only was it the wrong shoe I did not receive and apology at all. I decided to call corporate in which I have never done in my life and I'm glad I did. The store I would rate 0 stars but for Mrs. DEBBIE SMITH when I say she was awesome and very upset that I was truly disappointed in Marshall's she made me change my mind. Mrs. Smith went out her way personally and contacted every store that could possibly have the shoe I wanted and she found them, had them to ship it to a store of my choice and also had the manager ONLY to receive them and was told to keep them in the OFFICE until I arrived to pick them up. Unbelievable, and not to mention a gift card for my travel expenses. I give Mrs. Smith 10 stars for being so awesome and caring this was outstanding customer service.
