Review is for Orland Park store only, not J.Jill merchandise…read more I had a disappointing experience here because the staff was much more concerned with reorganizing the store displays than they were in assisting me. I selected quite a few pieces and went to the dressing room to try on. No one came to see how I was doing or if I needed different sizes. I came out of the dressing room. The sales lady eventually found me. I said, "Everything was too large. I'd like to try them in a smaller size." She said, "Oh," and walked away. No offer to help me find replacements. I did eventually purchase the one thing that had originally fit, but would have probably bought more if I didn't have to search to find all the right sizes.

I went into J. Jill after I admired a dress worn by a friend. I was not aware that they had…read moreextended sizes until that time. I went in the very next day and the saleswoman found me a pair of pants for work that I ended up purchasing (and ordered a second pair in another color). I love those pants. So when I needed a dress for my nephew's upcoming wedding, I went back to J. Jill. The same saleswoman remembered me and started bringing a variety of items into the dressing room. I walked out of there with not only one, but two dresses, two sweaters, a little jacket and three pairs of pants, all items that fit me properly and look great on me. The next day, I saw online that there was a 30% off sale. Last night, I went back with my receipt and received the discount with a smile. This is now my go-to store when I need to update my wardrobe!

VERY high pressure sales. I just want to browse! I feel like I can't do this at this store. If I…read morecome in here just to see what new selections they have for the season, the employees literally hand me 2 or 3 pairs of jeans and beg me to try them on. Even if you say you're just looking, you can see the employees watching your every move. HOWEVER When I do come in here wanting to actually buy something, the employees are a great help. I would go to them, tell them my budget (budget at least $80, preferably $100), and they'd help me pick out a great outfit. They're like your own personal shoppers. I often have trouble finding clothes that match perfectly, but the employees help me find outfits that match, and even give me a few options that our out of my comfort zone. If you're looking for a new look, the employees will help you. The clothing selections vary from stylish to extremely douchey. Make sure you tell the employees "no Affliction, no American Fighter," or they will push those brands on you. The BKE brand is usually pretty good. The jeans fall apart a lot, though. Buckle is good if you have money to spend. If you just want to browse, go somewhere else. The employees won't leave you alone. If Buckle employees/management read this, please be less pushy on customers, especially if they are avoiding eye contact with you. That usually means they want to be left alone.

#13/2025 This Macy's in Orland Park is still a decent one…read morefor the most part. I came in with only one thing I needed to do I want to look at some dress shoes. I went to the men's section for the dress shoes I was looking at the rockports because I've worn rockports for quite a while and they didn't have my size in stock. I wanted to slip on style loafer for I didn't want to lace up shoe. I wasn't worried about the price. Rockports for about 120 bucks. But the nice sales lady guided me to this company from Denmark which I never heard of they've been around for a while I did a quick Google of them they were pretty quality company they're about $50 a pair of more $170 bucks each Ecco But I did notice the craftsmanship the leather is definitely a lot thicker and a better quality I was quite impressed. She brought out a size that she thought would be good for me after measuring my foot and said even though they didn't have a wide I didn't really need it I just buy it for comfort. But I tried these on and holy cow they were great. So I wore for about 15-20 minutes wandering around the area. The only difference was I had White Sox on I won't have those on with those I'll have on more darker dress socks. But I was very very impressed I hadn't bought a new pair of dress shoes and over 15 years at least. But I decided credit card was paid off for Macy's so I bought two pairs LOL. Compulsive impulse buying no willpower yeah that's me. So I bought a pair of black and brown. Hopefully they're going to last for quite a few years the quality seems really good I was very impressed. I'm going to look into this Ecco company more maybe.

Picked up an online order of the cutest Bar III black lace dress. It was on sale and worth every…read morepenny, service was fast and semi-friendly. I want to note that the handicap button upon entry does never works (at the entrance by the shoe department on the lower level near Cheesecake Factory) but it did work when exiting.
