I just had an amazing experience at the JCPenney store in Mokena, IL. I had photos taken by an…read morephotographer there. I wanted photos of my mom and I as well as couples photos of my husband and I . The photographer Rachel was very thorough by explaining packages and pricing options and also making me aware of any promotions and offers that are currently available. I was pleased with the photos and the options she offered in addition to receptiveness to some of my ideas that I wanted to capture in some of the photos. The photo shoot was very enjoyable and now I have some beautiful memories of important people in my life thanks to the photo representative.

I used to shop Joe Bank's haberdashery a lot pre-COVID before COVID nearly destroyed the business; however, it looks like guys, at least some, are buying business and business casual wear again (cargo shorts just not cutting it). I stopped going for a long, long time. The merchandise had really gone down hill compared to former quality (See my review for the Deer Park store.) I was pleasantly surprised at the now value for the money as the product seems to have taken a step up. Sure some things are up there in price and sourcing is more concentrated off-shore but there was a nice range of price points from casual to Tux--and with plenty of accessories including shoes. I picked up a couple of great additions to the wardrobe at a nice value. So, for this location and this visit, four stars. If Joe keeps this up, I just might make it a regular stop again.

I wish there were more items to choose from and then I just feel like it's so disorganized but I think that's because of the lack of inventory. K&G was recommended. Placed a few pair of pants in my car and stopped in after work. I went to the back of the store and spoke with the tailor. He was very nice; had me try on my pants and made the soap mark at the desired length. He said I could pick them up in a few days. I did. Happy to say that the prices for my alterations are affordable, I am pleased with the end result. I have even dropped off a few more pairs of pants. With that being said, I have found my tailor.

I don't love it because everyone and their mom and THEIR moms all shop here, so you're not getting anything super unique. I bought an owl sweater at the Oakbrook Terrace location because I have an owl obsession. The way that it was displayed in the store, it had a collared shirt underneath it and it looked super preppy yet stylish. I ordered the sweater one size up, assuming that it would need to be a little bigger to put a collared shirt under it. When I finally found a collared shirt to match, the sweater was still too huge so I had to bring it back. Let me also note, that I'd bought this sweater 3-4 weeks earlier and it'd been hanging in my closet until I could hunt down the perfect shirt to go underneath it. I'd since lost the receipt, because everything always gets thrown out at my house. I was super nervous bringing it in that they would hassle me and I'd be stuck with this huge sweater. I came in this past Sunday and the line was horrendous--so horrendous that I contemplated just hanging my sweater up and grabbing the right size, but since I could never do something like that - I decided to wait it out. The line went really fast though. When I finally made it up to the register, I explained my plight to the nice lady and she told me that they didn't have anymore of the owl sweaters but I could pick out something else. Disappointed, I ran back to find something else and ended up with a brown/black and grey plain sweater. When I came back up, the lady told me that since I paid with my debit card, they could find my transaction. I handed over my card and in less than 15 seconds, she found my purchase. Lucky for me too, the sweaters happened to be on sale, so not only was I walking out with a sweater in the right size, but I was walking out the door $8 richer. Overall, my experience this weekend was a good one. The store was organized, the line moved quick and the cashier was friendly. I'm giving 4 stars because the team were great but don't expect me to start shopping here on a weekly basis!

When I finally wore them, they felt odd and then was told by someone that one leg looked shorter than the other. Turns out this size 2T pair of pants (tall)) has one leg at 31" and the other is 29". I took them into the store to exchange them for a normal pair of pants. They offered me $9.99! I have spent hundreds of dollars online and at that particular store and that's all they'd do for me. The lady haughtily stated, "Oh that happens sometimes." They can sell defective clothing and think that is just fine! My advice is shop elsewhere. I have to question where their clothes are made and by whom? Children in China? Who knows? Very tacky of them, I think. Terrible value; terrible service

They asked my name as I was browsing the racks. When I had a few things on my arm to try on, I was escorted to a personalized dressing room. How special is that. Shopping in the store was a nice experience. I was very happy with both my service and my purchase.
