The saleswomen were extremely nice and helpful without being pushy or clingy. They let me do my own thing but did offer lots of nice suggestions and assistance when needed. K&G was recommended. Placed a few pair of pants in my car and stopped in after work. I went to the back of the store and spoke with the tailor. He was very nice; had me try on my pants and made the soap mark at the desired length. He said I could pick them up in a few days. I did. Happy to say that the prices for my alterations are affordable, I am pleased with the end result. I have even dropped off a few more pairs of pants. With that being said, I have found my tailor.

The shampoo was never opened. It sat in my car so that I can return it and when I got there, I guess because it sat in the car with hot temperatures, it leaked a little well. Lori explained to me that it had been opened and they weren't sure if they could take it back I reassured her. I never opened it. It never came out of the bag. Well, I don't know. I'll have someone go to the hair salon to open up another and see if there was a seal that was on it as she asked another employee to do that. I told her it was never opened. It never came out of the bag well, I don't know that well, I'm telling you it didn't come out of the bag so if it wasted, it may have been due to the heat, but of course well I'll have someone do it this time. No thank you no smile on the face just nasty attitudes and I'm wondering is because of my melanin.

After I told her no she continued her pitch for me to get a credit card that I do not want. And even made her unwanted pitch a third time. Why does the word annoying come to mind... She rang up the socks at a higher than expected price, so I said I thought they were on sale. She said no they're full price, $22. When I got to the car, I decided to check the price online. $5.50 less. I decided to go back inside and I told her they are on sale online, can't you honor the price? Let's be real about JCPenney's situation. It was 7:00 p.m., I don't think I even saw five shoppers in the whole store. She said "No, that's an online price". That's all she had to say, she couldn't bother to say anything such as "I could ask my manager". I told her, get a manager for me. He came up front and adjusted the price for me. So what is the problem with the young brunette at the checkout who showed no regard for a customer satisfaction with her short and unhelpful answers? But, she was very willing to use words when she was trying to talk me into a credit card I have no need for. And not once or twice, but three times. I hate to see this story go out of business because there are few brick and mortar retail stores like JCPenney. If their prices in the store were as advertised online, wouldn't they bring in more traffic? And if they had something that resembled friendly and helpful customer service more people would probably shop here also. She had plenty of time to help me, there was no one in line behind me.

I took them into the store to exchange them for a normal pair of pants. They offered me $9.99! I have spent hundreds of dollars online and at that particular store and that's all they'd do for me. The lady haughtily stated, "Oh that happens sometimes." They can sell defective clothing and think that is just fine! My advice is shop elsewhere. I have to question where their clothes are made and by whom? Children in China? Who knows? Very tacky of them, I think. Terrible value; terrible service

After a while, you realize how expensive some of the items are there, but it's worth it for some specialty items and that's why I still go. Also, the sales floor and cashier experience is friendly. The only negative aspect of this store is the space. It is very difficult to move around, especially when there's a crowd.
