Palos Heights is very fortunate ML and it is definitely worth the trip to the southwest area.

She went above and beyond to box my gifts and make them look so special. She was super personable and pleasant and just an overall great person and employee! I have noticed that Von Maur employees are always very pleasant, courteous & helpful. The store itself is always clean and neat. The piano player is a nice added touch. I will always continue to shop here.

I selected quite a few pieces and went to the dressing room to try on. No one came to see how I was doing or if I needed different sizes. I came out of the dressing room. The sales lady eventually found me. I said, "Everything was too large. I'd like to try them in a smaller size." She said, "Oh," and walked away. No offer to help me find replacements. I did eventually purchase the one thing that had originally fit, but would have probably bought more if I didn't have to search to find all the right sizes.

I went in the very next day and the saleswoman found me a pair of pants for work that I ended up purchasing (and ordered a second pair in another color). I love those pants. So when I needed a dress for my nephew's upcoming wedding, I went back to J. Jill. The same saleswoman remembered me and started bringing a variety of items into the dressing room. I walked out of there with not only one, but two dresses, two sweaters, a little jacket and three pairs of pants, all items that fit me properly and look great on me. The next day, I saw online that there was a 30% off sale. Last night, I went back with my receipt and received the discount with a smile. This is now my go-to store when I need to update my wardrobe!

I have not come here for years due to its steady downward slide. The interior is clean, bright, with virtually no dark storefronts. The place was actually packed. There are the name brands you will recognize, some newer names but all seemed vibrant. If you haven't been here in a while, give it another shot. It's good to see physical locations again.

I was the only customer in the store and the cashier did not speak to me. It's a well lit store packed with clothes that scream Shein vibes.....fast fashion, made in China, and super budget friendly. You can get a whole outfit for under $20 if needed. Is the quality amazing? Absolutely not! But if you're trying to buy a full vacation wardrobe without breaking the bank, this store will definitely do the trick. Unfortunately, I don't wear cheap clothes so this store is not for me.
