If a mini dress comes in a tall, and they have my size, I will purchase that for a more conservative length. Cropped pants are my go to in the warmer seasons, I think you know why. I can't even buy a jogging suit that doesn't need a cut or hem. I don't particularly care for the elastic band around my ankles. Searched high and low for an affordable option for alterations. K&G was recommended. Placed a few pair of pants in my car and stopped in after work. I went to the back of the store and spoke with the tailor. He was very nice; had me try on my pants and made the soap mark at the desired length. He said I could pick them up in a few days. I did. Happy to say that the prices for my alterations are affordable, I am pleased with the end result. I have even dropped off a few more pairs of pants. With that being said, I have found my tailor.

I have a love/hate relationship with Old Navy. I love it because the clothes are cheap and let's…read moreface it, I'm a pretty cheap person. I don't love it because everyone and their mom and THEIR moms all shop here, so you're not getting anything super unique. I bought an owl sweater at the Oakbrook Terrace location because I have an owl obsession. The way that it was displayed in the store, it had a collared shirt underneath it and it looked super preppy yet stylish. I ordered the sweater one size up, assuming that it would need to be a little bigger to put a collared shirt under it. When I finally found a collared shirt to match, the sweater was still too huge so I had to bring it back. Let me also note, that I'd bought this sweater 3-4 weeks earlier and it'd been hanging in my closet until I could hunt down the perfect shirt to go underneath it. I'd since lost the receipt, because everything always gets thrown out at my house. I was super nervous bringing it in that they would hassle me and I'd be stuck with this huge sweater. I came in this past Sunday and the line was horrendous--so horrendous that I contemplated just hanging my sweater up and grabbing the right size, but since I could never do something like that - I decided to wait it out. The line went really fast though. When I finally made it up to the register, I explained my plight to the nice lady and she told me that they didn't have anymore of the owl sweaters but I could pick out something else. Disappointed, I ran back to find something else and ended up with a brown/black and grey plain sweater. When I came back up, the lady told me that since I paid with my debit card, they could find my transaction. I handed over my card and in less than 15 seconds, she found my purchase. Lucky for me too, the sweaters happened to be on sale, so not only was I walking out with a sweater in the right size, but I was walking out the door $8 richer. Overall, my experience this weekend was a good one. The store was organized, the line moved quick and the cashier was friendly. I'm giving 4 stars because the team were great but don't expect me to start shopping here on a weekly basis!

I made it very clear I would be willing to even buy a new product and was just berated for even proposing such a question. I have seen plenty of people as for a bag while simply walking past a store without a purchase. And it was at MUCH higher end stores such as Gucci and Louis Vuitton just sad and terrible. I could not get a simple sure no problem when asking for a simple shopping bag after I have made clear purchase and it is a gift and I said I was willing to buy a new product if need be truly just sickening to be treated as such. My call was placed on April 5th 2024 it should be on record how my demeanor was altered by the rude remarks and criticisms passed down by a clearly spineless, arrogant, selfish, contradictory employee worker of the lowest level in the corporate totem pole. Truly sad I think I will let it inspire me to make a song. Thank you for the fuel as you was your driving home. Less than 1 star service from that "male" employee.

They said it would be here by June 7th which was kind of late because the wedding is June 13. I call back and ask them again a couple of weeks later seeing if it changed, they said May 30th. So may 30th comes around, I call them ask if it's there and they said no it's not coming till the 12. I ask them if there's anything they could do about it and they said they will try. I call corporate to see if they could do anything, they can't and ive been in hold with them for 40+ minutes before I have them call back. They call back 4 hours later not being able to help me. I call the store today (6-2) asking if there was any news, earlier it sounded very promising and she took my number to call me back. 2 hours go by and no call so I call them back at 7:00 (they close at 7:30) and they kept putting me on hold and then hung up on me after waiting the 35 minutes to ask the question. Never again going to David's bridal for anything. This isn't the first time David's royally screwed me over.

Im writing to express my dissatisfaction with my experience at your store. In November, I was…read moreinformed that a down payment for a wedding dress would be fully refundable. Based on that understanding, I proceeded with the payment. Approximately two weeks later, I contacted the store to cancel and was assured that issuing a refund would not be a problem and that a check would be mailed. In December, after not receiving anything, I was told there were delays due to the holidays and advised to follow up in January. When I called in January, a manager stated she would investigate the matter and follow up with me, indicating that the check should have already been sent. Unfortunately, I never received a return call. Since then, I have contacted the store multiple times, only to be placed on hold for extended periods--often up to 45 minutes--before being told again that the check has been mailed. It has now been four months, and I have neither received the refund nor a clear resolution. This level of service is unacceptable and has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Ordered online to be able to pick up - get in and get out of the store and that was not the case…read more There were signs telling me if I ordered online, to skip the line, I follow the signs and stand where the sign is. After five minutes, I finally ask the cashier if it's all one line, she says yes. Why couldn't she tell me that out of her peripheral vision? Or ask me if I needed help with something? I'm not God's gift to the world, but I work customer service and if I see a person standing outside of the line, I'd at least acknowledge them. So then, I have to go to the back of this long line and wait 15 more minutes because of an online order that I should have been able to pick up and go in at least five minutes. If this store is it going to implement online order pick ups, they shouldn't have it at all!!!
