I am thrilled to not have to drive downtown Chicago or to Oakbrook for a nice pair of jeans! I got to visit the boutique on it's opening day this past Saturday and found so many cute things. The store was packed, which is exciting as it means there are a lot of people who will be supporting it so we can keep places like this in our town. The owner was so kind and did an amazing job with the space. The prices are mid range, which is nice. It isn't over the top, but it also isn't cheap. I love the selection she has. She even commented on how she only orders a limited run of each item so that you don't see everyone around town in the same thing, so smart! If you are like me, keep your purchases out of reach from your pets as their cute little paws will tear through anything. The quality is not the best, but it's well worth it for the variety you can find there. I just purchased 2 sets of boot socks on clearance for $.99 apiece. Buy them anywhere else and you'll spend a MINIMUM of $5-15, unless you're shopping from an online retailer such as Grace and Lace and can spend $20-35 for the handcrafted work. I also found a SUPER SNAZZY, classic black jacket that was $16. The jacket was somehow both delicate AND fierce. All in all, if you're on a budget yet wish to dress trendy, sexy, comfortable, or classic, Discovery has all you need. If you're a Pinterest gal and find that you can't afford the outfits you like pieced together by the pros, you certainly can afford those pieces when you're shopping at Discovery. (I hate adding this in, but imaging buying direct from China but eliminating the wait time for shipping and guaranteeing that what you see is what you get. That's kind of like Discovery.) Shoes on clearance range from $5-10. Their full-price shoes are not much more than that. Bras are good quality, but then again I'm not as well-endowed as some. Accessories are very reasonably priced. You can always find something on clearance for a knock-your-socks-off price. Leave your own review on other products I've not yet tried out from them. Complaints about staff? I've never noticed any issues. But then again I don't pay close enough attention. They were very courteous and helpful while we were there. However, a little bit of respect, appreciation, and common courtesy go a long way if you find a person to be a bear to be around.

There's two customers that mistakenly stood in there returns line. There's NOBODY ELSE IN EITHER LINE. Just the two customers wanting to make a purchase. The cashiers would not sell them any bring until they walked all the way around the return aisle and stand in the correct line. There was no one else in line........no a single person but the two people wanting to make a purchase. So the customers walked back to the line and the cashier called on them. It's almost comical. I've tried this place a minimum of three times. The first it looked like they were going out of business because clothes were thrown everywhere. Second time was similar, this was the third. There's plenty of options in the area to shop elsewhere and I would not recommend this one.

We live in a world where that is the fault of those Consumers that only or mostly Shop online. She provided me the details regarding a great sale and everything was going well until wait for it................It was a humid day, and I stopped at Panera and got a large refreshing 1/2 & 1/2 green tea & lemonade. After a couple of minutes, I had to go to the ladies room and was advised in an abrupt manner that they did not have public restroom, but I could go next door to another store. Okay maybe it's just me but I find that tacky. You are a store, that has women coming to try on clothing, and you don't offer basic accommodations? Then worst you direct a customer to another store what happened to "Give the lady what she wants shopping concept" in this case "Give the Lady a Restroom" to deliver comfort, and a Great Customer Experience. When I returned from next door, the cashier Sofia was kind, super polite, apologetic and friendly but I do have to say the demeanor of the others were not as welcoming as before they sent me next door to the restroom. The only thing I advised them was that I did not think that was right, and after going next door, I will not be trying on the other item. You cannot tell me the 3 of them are going to Walmart or the store next door to use the facilities. Especially when the store next door just opened in March. This is only my second time visiting and I have lived in the Community for over 12 years. The store has nice things so I would visit again, but I just did not like the overall experience that is the reason for the two stars.

There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.
