Store is clean and organized. I get that it is Nordstrom Rack but, the selection very much feels like the merchandise that didn't sell at Nordstrom. Hey if you like looking for deals, you may find it here. Service is what you may expect from a big store like this, employees are busy at register, putting out merchandise, and putting back merchandise that people tried on and didn't want. read more

Was shoe shopping for an upcoming wedding. While I didn't find what I was looking for, I found a great pair of Nike's I'd been wanting. I bought them and then found them for $15 cheaper at a nearby store. I came back to return these and it was super easy. Was greeted upon arrival, but there weren't any salespeople on the floor, the first time. Both times the cashier's were super friendly and professional all. Always great service! read more

I came into this store on 3/29/25 to do some shopping and was immediately helped within 5 minutes of my coming through the door‼ After coming into this store and almost immediately realizing that I really need to get a shopping cart for more reasons the obvious because I'd just recently gotten out of the hospital recovering and needed some support walking around as well as the obvious which is shopping‼ I spotted a young lady by the name of Anylah Williams whom at the time was busy working on something when we spotted one another, and I asked her if she could please go and grab a shopping cart for me as I was in pain and needed assistance, Anylah immediately without any hesitation said of course, stopped what she was doing and rushed off to assist me after bringing the cart to me, she asked me if there was anything else she could do for me before she return to work‼ After finishing up my shopping, I then was cordially assisted further by Josh N. who was stellar in customer service‼ I really like this store in particular as well as the one on Chicago Ave off Magnificent mile are among my favorite two Nordstrom Racks to go to they're always clean, great value for your dollar, good sales‼ One thing Nordstrom Rack truly needs to work on is taking off the censors immediately after you make your purchases because I have had too many times where I as a consumer for whatever reasons that I have had to make a return upon arriving back to the store to find censors on my clothing and the way I was treated at what used to be my favorite Nordstrom Rack in Oakbrook (now I don't like going there, although I still shop there from time to time only because of what they have NOT BECAUSE OR HOW I WAS DEVALUED MISTREATED AND DISRESPECTED EVEN AFTER SPEAKING WITH MANAGEMENT HOW A MANAGER CAME TO TGE DEFENSE OF A CERTAIN EMPLOYEE THAT WAS INCREDIBLY DISRESPECTFUL‼‼‼) I could have given up entirely on the Oakbrook location entirely and I'm not recommending that location now, although there have been plenty of times where certain employees in at the Oakbrook location, these awesome employees are the single reason why I returned to the Oakbrook location. I have experienced at the Schereville location: after making my purchase walking out the front doors having the alarm go off more than a few times and then I have to return back and have associates go through my bags when I absolutely did nothing wrong, only for associates to find censors on my purchases that they missed taking off‼‼‼ THIS HAS TO STOP, YOUR ASSOCIATES HAVE TO DO BETTER AT GETTING ALL THE CENSORS OFF OF CONSUMERS PURCHASES because there's nothing worst than after one have made their purchases to then have to reenter a store, sometimes after associates have been rude towards you as a consumer, to now have to show and/or prove your purchases‼‼ This is disconcerting, to say the least‼ It is always a pleasure in this day and time to experience such amazing customer service by associates at a time when many lack that special touch and many times, can make customers feel almost as though they are intruding on them when they, "when we" enter their space as consumers‼ My how much times has evolved. Very nice and clean store. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful when you need assistance. I enjoy shopping here for dress clothes when I need them, since you can get them at a discounted price. They also have an nice selection of beauty, home decor, and even toys. read more

Today i felt uncomfortable from management upon picking up my order 01/23/24 @1300. I order online from Canada Goose at check out I was given the option to pick up in store at other locations Nordstrom rack was an option that I selected for convenience. There was a worker at the register that call for a manager to assist me with my pick. The manager asked for my order number upon given her the first three numbers she said that's not a Nordstrom order number and I said I know that's because it's from Canada Goose right away I felt assaulted by her next question which was "Why did you have your order shipped here, this is Nordstrom". I was shocked that she asked me that question I looked her in the face so she if she was joking but she was serious. So I replied I sent my order to Nordstrom rack to pick my order up and that it was an option and I selected. She said this is the first time someone came to Nordstrom rack to pick up an order from a different store. I informed her that this is my fourth time picking up orders from other stores at Nordstrom rack (but the other times went smoothly) I also mentioned I have another order that will be there in February for pick up from another store. I did no wrong but received poor customer service due to no one of Nordstrom rack inform her. I should not have been questioned as to why I had my order sent there if it's not of Nordstrom rack. I wish that someone correct her so that when my order is ready for pick up I don't have to deal with that poor customer service for management. Update 01/25/2024 When ordering on other site with PayPal check out they have Nordstrom rack listed as a pick up location (not a customer error) no one should be questioned as to why they have an order sent to any store read more

This store is much smaller than other Nordstrom Racks. I think their purse and women's shoe sections were great. Lots of good name brand finds there! However, all other sections are not as plentiful. Both men's and women's clothing sections are small. Intimates and house wares are relegated into corners. There are still cute finds, but the selection is noticeably smaller than other stores. Definitely will be back to check new stock! read more

I tried to exchange a pair of defected boots today at the Rack today with the Store Manager, SUSAN at the HIGHLAND store. She was unreasonable and unwilling to accept my exchange. So, I ended up here to inform everyone of my experience today. SUSAN, did not.handle.this exchange correctly She was so focused on not making the exchange than having a satisfied customer. Love this location. How a wide variety of shoe selections. Designer labels such as Tory Burch, Uggs and a host of others. The prices are 30 or 40% cheaper than the regular price. Now are the going to be the same designs absolutely not but you still can find some great selections to fit your budget. Also I prefer out here because the taxes are cheaper than Chicago so win/win. read more

I expected better... they had a few nice items but a lot of what I saw was cheap clothing, think quality worse than Walmart at double the price. Like I said, you might be able to find a couple of "Nordstrom quality" items but not worth the 30 minute drive, I will stick to online shopping. read more

I read the last review and remembered that I had had a similar experience with a cashier at Nordstrom Rack. I found my receipt and yes, Andrea was at the top of my receipt. What am I missing? I don't get it. I think it's for women, the men's store here is bad, full of junk and mismatched merchandise. Where do I start! Well, I took my daughter in for some more school clothes. She found a dress and wanted to try it on. Went into the Try-on room. Came out to show me how the dress looked on her. This took all of 60 seconds. She went back in the Try-on room and the door was locked. She knocked on it and no one answered. So I told her to go in another room and take off the dress. She took the dress off and we waited (the attended, my daughter and myself) until the person came out of the room. Her clothes were not in the room. Her clothes were gone. Management were called and needless to say nothing happen. They look around the store and didn't find anything. The store manager didn't offer any alternatives so my daughter could leave the store with clothes on. I was forced to buy clothes for her to leave in. She showed no consideration and was not compassionate at all. After going home and speaking to my husband we were not happy how things were handle and he wanted to return everything. So we did! Now the first day with all of this, the Manager said they could not look at the cameras because they were too busy. When we took everything back the store was just as busy, but she found time to look at the video. The Manager return my daughter shirt but nothing else. And told us it was in a looked Try-on room. So where's the other clothes. This is what we've come to. My daughter clothes were stolen out of the Try-on room. The person who took them realize in the store the clothes wasn't worth taking. So the shirt was left in the store. The Manager lied and they never found it in a changing room. She just didn't care enough to tell us the truth. Also she showed no compassion and no concern. I will continue to shop at Nordstorm, but not at this one. Because this was not about the clothes. It's about the lack of customer service skills from the store Manager!!!!! read more
