I know they have to pay for the racing team and don't want to pay for delivery but $200+ for an address that is 3 miles from the store or an address that's in Charlotte shouldn't be the same. Shop with caution. Store personnel is always knowledgeable here. That's the win. Pick up is stressful as it led me to go from 3 stars to 2 stars. Gotta have ID. YEP, this ain't Target nor BestBuy. Evergreen Plaza Shopping Mall holds many great memories for me. I remember shopping there when I…read morewas in high school. My cousin and I would take the suburban bus that ran down Morgan Boulevard and go straight to the Plaza. We would shop at Lerner's (where my grandmother bought us identical Nehru-type dresses with black fake fur collars and cuffs). We also shopped at Montgomery Ward, 5-7-9, Thom McCann Shoes and numerous other places. When I shopped with my sisters and mother for Easter clothes or clothing for church, we would split up and meet at Walgreens for lunch. I always had a club sandwich and a tall glass of iced tea. When I married and was expecting my first child, I registered at Maternity Vogue and won a free gift when I accurately guessed the date of my daughter's birth, July 4th! In 2003, I bought a Samsung portable television at Circuit City. I still have it, and it works just fine. I also loved the movie theater. I would take my daughters, nieces and nephews there during Christmas break. We saw too many movies to name. Years later, I knew the Plaza movie theater was in trouble when I slipped into a movie theater one afternoon and was the only one to view the movie. After this happened two more times, I was not surprised to learn the movie theater was closing. That hurt....a lot. Eventually, many of my favorite stores left the mall too, such as Lerner's (which became New York and Co.), Naturalizer Shoes, Evans, 5-7-9, all of the bookstores, Walgreens, Montgomery Ward, and many others. When Walmart moved across the street and offered good deals at great prices, I knew the Plaza stores were in trouble. How could their stores possibly compete with the highly respected discount chain store? A few more years went by. Then on May 31, 2013, Evergreen Plaza Shopping Center, with the exception of Enterprise Car Rental, Planet Fitness, Applebee's, and Carson, Pirie, Scott, finally closed its doors. I am heartbroken. It's like a part of my life has shut down or disappeared. What will they do with the mall? Some say a new mall will be built in its place. Others say it may become an apartment complex. What ever they decide, they can never take away the memories. I will keep them forever and cherish each and every one. They were an important part of my life.

She pissed off the lady behind me wouldn't even address her concerns. I reported her to her manager. The greeter at the door knew exactly why I was calling the manager. These young people are too entitled and gonna find themselves unemployed cause this is why people choose to go online so they don't have to deal with this type of bs. I hope this makes her act better the rest of the day. I have hard days at work too. I deal with sick people all day who have attitude issues and that is mostly because they aren't feeling well but I can't match their energy cause I'm there to help them feel better no matter how I feel. You know in the old days department stores gave you free gifts and samples but those are pricey and dwindling. My bottles at home dwindling and some old.... so on a shopping trip to Ross. I stood there looking up every scent in Google to see what it smells like. Google will tell you main scent, middle scent and underlying scent and if it lingers. It took me about 35 minutes to work my way around the shelf and they were all sealed and the real deal..not watered down. Senorita another great one. Perry Ellis 18 the bomb! Guess and many other great colognes all with my hints if sandalwood and lavender. I bought 12 bottles for about $150. Some pricier than others and beautiful bottles. They are all the lingering designer scents that are not cheap in department stores. It was a geek moment for me and I took those treasured bottles home that look like jewels on my dresser. That first spray and you know...it's a winner! The store is not heavily stocked, a mish mash of home items, broken and damaged furniture they will take another 10% off sales girl said, nice rugs, kitchen stuff, clothing ok, some items look worn. I go there mostly for home goods, pet supplies and other non essentials at good prices. You have to hit it just right to get the good stuff and I will have to ask what day the truck comes in for the future.

This Marshalls on numerous occasions has been the Marshalls I find the dress or shirt I am searching for in my size. I don't know why, but this one has a greater chance then most of having size XS, Small and size 4 in stock. Hooray for that. Now what I love most about this Marshalls is that their toy section, although small, beats the pants off any other Marshalls toy section in the area. I don't know why, but they just seem to have some awesome toys that I don't find at other Marshalls. They always have really cool Play-doh sets that my girls and nieces and nephews go nuts over. I just got a cool Sweet Shoppe candy maker Playdoh set for 14.99 and a cookie making Play-doh set for 9.99. It's basically half price compared to what you would pay in Target for those sets aaannnnd I haven't seen those 2 sets at Target. I've also gotten some very cool toys from here to give out as Christmas and Birthday gifts in the past. Like Monster High, Barbie, Melissa and Doug, Spider Man stuff and a ton of craft stuff like a tye-dye set, jewelry making stuff, art set. All at unbeatable prices. Also, for some reason...the stuff does not get beat up here which is a huge plus. I asked if they could hold tbe items while I continued to shop. "Sure" they said. When I was ready to check out, I tell the young man at the counter they're holding some items for me. He comes back with a dress, I tell him that's not it. Then he holds up my jumpsuit and asks if this is it, I say yes, that's it. He's pretty friendly during the transaction. I get home and realize they didn't put the belt to the jumpsuit in the bag. So I called the store fifty million times before they finally answer. When they answer, I recognize the voice as that of the young man that rang me up earlier. I'm explaining to him what happened and asked if he can check to see if the belt is in the back. He tells me I'll have to come up there. I said it was too far, and if they have it I'll come back tomorrow, but if not, I'll take the jumpsuit back to the Macy's closest to me. So this is where it gets crazy.... He puts me on hold, and a young lady picks up and asks me to repeat what I just said, so I do. At some point the young man gets back on the phone and says 'describe him' after I say it was a young man that helped me originally. This kinda threw me, but I say 'uh, he was tall, a black male.." and so this dude says "so he was a n*gger" I said 'what??' He repeated it again "it was a N*gger". I was speechless. I said "is this Macy's? What did you just say to me??" Then he said it AGAIN!! And then he hung up the phone. Ooooohhhhh weeeee, I couldn't get to that store fast enough!! When I made it back to the store, the idiot, whose name is Kyle, by the way, saw me talking to the store manager, and went and hid in the back when he saw us walking towards him. THIS DUDE HID OUT IN THE BACK OF THE STORE. I told the manager, Allysha, that I would wait for her to find him, I needed to ask him some questions. He finally comes out, grinning and dragging his feet. Looking guilty as hell. Of course he denied it, but I still lit into him. What possessed this young man to say that to me???? Who raised him to think it was acceptable to say that to me??? Me...someone who has the same skin as his!!! It felt like he had kicked me in the the stomach.
