I told him he marked it as pickup (they are timed with their orders) but yet never gave it to me. Management needs to correct this issue and not have the associates ask for the pickup number until they give the items to the customer. I know they can see it on their end with what we purchased, so there's no need to ask for the number. The only thing I can think of is something is fishy going on so it makes them look like the pickup times are super fast, in reality they aren't.

At approximately 12:32 PM, I noticed a young security employee wearing a yellow jacket following and monitoring us while we were shopping. We paid for our items at self-checkout at approximately 12:42 PM. When we were leaving, the same security employee stopped us and asked to see our receipt. What bothered me the most was that I personally observed other customers leaving immediately before and after us who were not stopped or asked to show their receipts. This left me questioning why my spouse and I were specifically selected. I felt singled out, embarrassed, harassed, and discriminated against. I understand that stores have loss-prevention procedures, but those procedures should be applied fairly and consistently. I contacted Target Guest Relations afterward to report the incident. I was told that my complaint would be documented, but the representative did not ask me for important information such as the exact date and time of the incident, a description of the security employee, or other details, and I was not provided with a case/reference number. I hope Target takes this seriously, reviews the surveillance footage from approximately 12:30-12:45 PM, and determines why we were treated differently from other customers leaving the store.
