Before I begin I would like to say the positives of this place they have a great alcohol selection and the employees are very nice and the prices are like any other Costco in the area. My issue is with the store design my fellow customers and the parking lot. But this is truly one of the worst Costco's I've ever been to. It's my Costco of last resort I don't know even where to begin The parking lot was designed by people who had to be drunk or just started out in parking lot design. It's always crowded the people who come to this Costco are Kamikaze In the parking lot whether it's driving a BMW or a hooptie. You better have your head on a swivel because they'll either almost hit your car or they will hit you. Now let's get into the store itself The layout is again I'm convinced it was either somebody's first time designing a Costco store layout or they're just very sadistic. Because nothing is where it should be in an organized space like every other Costco I've been to. For example bottled water It's nowhere near any other liquid. The people who shop here are also as chaotic as the store and parking lot itself. Nobody walks in a proper direction It's literally your dodging all the customers who for some reason don't understand to walk in a straight line anywhere in the store. The food court area I feel like the quality is worse than other Costco's and it's also got a smaller seating area which is terrible considering the amount of people that shop here. So in closing The whole design of this Costco is a black eye on the brand. Costco corporate would be doing itself a favor if it closed the store down demolished it and rebuilt it in the same layout as their North Plainfield store has with the same level of selection that the Edison store has currently.

One of my favorite Costco's. Simply because they sell liquor. They have only a few selections of tequila, rum, and gin. It's like one or two big brands then Kirkland brand. I do like the Kirkland brand tequila blanco. Such a big bottle for a great price. Also enjoy their Kirkland brand Irish cream liquor, deff replica of baileys. Have a variety of Asian food which is nice. Love trying new things. I feel like every time I go there are new items. They have recently added the membership scanning machines at the entrance. So get your card or mobile app ready. Layout of the store is pretty standard. The only thing I don't like about this store is that they don't out the boxes near the entrance like Bridgewater Costco. So by the time I remember I need a box, it's impossible to go back past the registers and food stand. This Costco is always busy but the lines go fast especially self check out. There is a Costco gas at this location.

Hands down the best option for kirkland liquors in terms price, quality and value. I bought 3-1.75L bottles of Makibu, tequila blanco and Irish cream liquor aling with the kirkland box wine for a party we were having with family.

I love all of the Costcos I have been to. My husband and I recently stopped by this Costco on our way to an event. It was a quick trip but I found some good deals. The tri color 6 pack of bell peppers was $4.99. We pay almost double in Brooklyn. I ended up buying 2 pks. They were also selling liquor in this location. I saw one of my favorite red wines on sale for $9.89 each and bought 5 bottles. Next time I'm in Edison, I will be stopping by this costco location and stocking up on my wine and liquor and look for more deals.

Wholesale at its best. Line could be long at times but worth the wait. You can find almost everything that you need. Value for money indeed.

Good store but heavily crowded . Especially on weekends .. billing takes a long time on weekends. Look at the crowdddddd on weekends ! The line starts all the way from milk produce section . The employees are quick though. They work really hard and fast .. there are so many items for tasting in this store . Good marketing for some brands .. Plan to come on a weekday if possible. They also have fuel station outside.. good service otherwise.

I try and come here often. I love the service, the massive selection and the discounts they often have. I'm not quite sure why it was so busy as it was earlier today, but it took over 40 minutes to check out. There wasn't many other cashiers. Not sure if it was because today is a weekend or what. They have good deals, and a lot of things to choose from. But I feel the customer service needs to be improved to better accomodate their customers.

Omg wine !! Can you hear the angels sing w open arms?

Omg this Costco seems bigger than the ones in Brooklyn. There's a liquor section right inside! I felt like I could hear the angels sing n see the skies part when I saw the huge wine aisles. ( don't judge, not alcoholic, just a wine enthusiast) 1st time I see this inside. Usually in Brooklyn is a tiny liquor store next to the Costco. But those liquor stores you can go w/o a Costco card. Place is super clean, organized, sale items clearly visible. There's people to answer yr questions. It's overwhelming the 1st time bc it's so big. There's a Costco gas station which I wish I knew before I filled up my tank at another station.

Stopped here for some necessities, and fuel. 3.17 a gallon! Different stores have different items. Always find great deals.

Chaos is the word that comes to mind, Granted it was a Saturday afternoon so maybe that was expected. But the store was very crowded the walkways were lined with shopping carts in both directions so much that you couldn't even cross over and it reminded me of a busy city in the streets of Chinatown or maybe one of those villages in India. There was a dedicated store employee loudly directing traffic to the registers every register was open self check out had all lanes operating yet the lines pushed back about 10 isles almost to the back of the store where the produce is. Lesson learned come during the week.

Our favorite costco outlet, its always organized and the staff is so warm and helpful. Plenty of parking spots are available. Covid protocols are followed by staff and they ensure members wear face mask, sanitize, etc. Weekends is crowded and busy! Off late costco has started adding local grocery items to their stores and this location has led the charge. Asian and Indian groceries are readily and easily available here.

They have this woman named Janet on the gas pumps. TOO SLOW! It took forever. She needs to be on carts or shelves.

Do they sell king crab legs?

almost every costco I been to has the king crab legs but they are limited quantities. sometimes is best to call ahead. I found a box of the king crab legs for $249. i dont recall the weight but it was at costco.

I live in NYC, where liquor is ungodly expensive, and I'm planning a wedding, sooo... help. Is liquor normal Costco price, or state prices? Like, in my home state, 1.75L bulleit is about $32. Any rough estimates would be helpful!

I usually just run to BJ's for when I need only a couple of items because usually there's no lines and no customers and I can see why the EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE NONEXISTENT OR LAZY! About 80% of the time when I've needed assistance at the quick checkout, the employee who supposed to be working, would be chatting with other employees with their backs facing the registers and would not even know you need assistance. I assume management doesn't really care or they are just as lazy collecting a paycheck. Even though they just recently renovated a new entrance exit area, they need to rehire employees who actually care and the place may start making some money. Not even worth taking any pictures!
