Nov 2020 hand sanitizer by entrance

Our family uses Costco for everything. We get groceries and cleaning products here, and lots of electronics. too. We've used their Eye department for new glasses and the Hearing department for hearing aids. The pharmacy in the back of the store fills our prescriptions and gives us flu shots and shingles shots. We got tires here as well. It's got a big free parking lot and is conveniently located. This Costco gets very crowded and the staff keeps the checkout lines moving along efficiently.

line at most hours most weekdays isn't much longer than the door, impressive thanks to their reconfiguring their checkout lanes

I majorly update my review of this location which I had only occasionally used for the last 7y. by this time specifically focus on the COVID19 prevention procedures which they have done from the very beginning, March 15. They have regulated entries to ensure social distancing in the store which has been adjusted for the most recent change reconfiguring their entire check out lanes to be staggered as to allow nearly full normal check out traffic without any violation of social distancing in any direction. Gone are those days when the line would ever exceed the not to like the sidewalk in front of the store, now even on a weekday peak it is shorter than that sidewalk. Note, I've never gone on a weekend since March 15. Supplementing the gating staff are interior staff inside who have walkie-talkies to communicate with central traffic command to keep the many zones of the store properly socially distance. Staff also gently yet audibly remind all customers to socially distance. Ohviously the food court takeout menu as their site says has been temporarily changed to only hot dog (soda remains), pizza slices, and whole pizzas condiments are by request only. the former seating area has been replaced as storage for their services display panels which used to be lined up right of the exit walkaway. At the entry doorway is always posted a staff member offering sanitary wipes to wipe down every cart. Staff in the lot are extremely thorough about getting carts collected and queued up at the entry such that no customer needs to waste effort going around looking for a cart. clearly signed are the exhausted and available items of greatest demand as well as the temporary hours which as of yesterday are over thus back to normal hours. Also clearly signed are reminders of state law requiring face coverings for all customers and of course social distancing and they return policy exclusions which are both from state law as well as Costco national policy both. Despite all this change and stress, the staff are seemingly even happier, more glad, and generally nice than even before I do sense a general rise and empathy and kindness through this era. The exception is at the closing hour when they have to be forceful to get the wind down done which takes hours especially with the aggressive restocking of exhausted item which adds hours daily. Availability is complete except for meat which is exhausted within a few hours of opening all weekdays. Entirely understandable and far better than most competitors. Temporary limits per my photos are limit 3 total meats per customer although some cashiers interpret this to mean limit 1 of each of three types: chicken, poultry, beef. This is the best shopping experience as can be expected nowadays, so thank you to all who make it happen.

Though this can get super crowded during weekends, overall they offer tremendous selection and seasonal rotation of items you didn't even know you wanted. Not only you didn't realize their need but also that you needed them in bulk. Fresh figs, extra large pomegranates, lemon bags so that you can create freshly squeezed lemonade for the entire block. Love those winter seasonal ski merchandise and healthy organic yogurt to serve my entire zip code. And, if you have a canine or feline family member, they have healthy treats, meds, toys, and beds at prices tough to beat. Last but not the least, have a look at their jewelry section. Made for guys who have no clue what items to buy but can make a big purchase without getting ripped off!

The Container store can contain itself with its ridiculous outrageous prices. You can get almost everything they sell with a few exceptions anywhere else around line for a fraction of the cost. Bought a divided hamper there one day only to find it at 1/3 the price at an ALDI !!!can you believe it? They forced out the World Market because they tripled their rent. The greedy management MOFOS . I used to love this store because of all the imported food they had also some of the product line was superb as well (OK so a little Pier Oneish but a little bit nicer and a better price point.) The pretentious little French(Asian) bakery is overrated and a bit pricey you're better off just going across the street to WF. Saksofffifth total waste of time a lot of junk that's ugly and over priced that you wouldn't even pay $ 20for online if you wanted it. Nordstrom rack has a few deals to be found if you're a stealth shopper. Some of their candles aren't bad they have a knock off brand identical to the Volcano candles at a great price and the same cobalt blue container with the steel top. It's a better place for women to shop as they have better deals for them for men forget it anything that's worthwhile . Mightt as well just go to the real Nordstrom store and buy it there because they'll sucker you into paying regular price for something that is hideous in color or design. Did manage to get a nice pair of Magnani men's shoes during the pandemic but that's only because I think they thought the world was coming to an end so all department stores were giving incredible deals lol (well not really) but you know what I mean.

I built the porch a few years ago with supplies that I purchased from The Stone Center in Bridgewater, NJ. They had the wall stone, cap stones, pavers, sand and masonry adhesive I needed. Their products are beautifully displayed outside the office at their location, making choosing simple. They delivered the materials to my work site. What disappointed me about The Stone Center is their computer lacked information about my porch supplies when I returned to buy my walk supplies. In the interest of time we tried to match paver color I used, from a photo on my phone. Big mistake. It did not match. As it turns out I like the new color better than the old but I wanted a seamless match. I also find that The Stone Center's prices are high. Many new and unknowledgeable customer service people are now working there. What I like about The Stone Center is they have a great selection; huge inventory and they sell all of the tools and accessories you need. Their delivery drivers are top notch.

It's very large compared to other ShopRites but the biggest plus for me is they do a really good job at stocking and replenishing food and goods. That's one of my biggest pet peeves that many ShopRites just don't keep up with their stocking. If you go on a Sunday or Monday, a lot of the ShopRites are completely cleaned out by me. There's not enough of them and too many towns using the same ShopRite so they tend to run out often. I haven't experienced this with the Bound Brook ShopRite. Bound Brook ShopRite sells items I just can't get at other stores. Example Roasted Garlic powder and unique spices. They have brands from all over the world. They are laid out by sections, Chinese, Jamaican, Jewish, Italian,, Norwegian, Spanish etc. Their produce department is wonderful. They have a Specialty Cheese Department, Fish Department, cold Cuts and Salads Department etc. They have an Antipasto Bar that has all different types of Olives and Cheeses on it. Every time I go I buy their Antipasto which has Ham, Salami, Pepperoni, Provolone, Mozzarella Balls, different types of Olives, Cherry Peppers along with Roasted Peppers, It's all wonderful. If you're pressed for time and not into cooking, they cover that too. They have staff making fresh Soups,Chinese Food, Fried Chicken, along with many prepared options. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They offer a nice selection of gluten free options. They sell homage pastas, kielbasa and sausages etc. When I want cold cuts I go online to their ShopRite Express and place my order so I don't have to stand in line. I can choose the time I want my order to be ready and I coordinate that with my shopping they keep it refrigerated right across from the deli. They put your name on it along with your phone number and off you go you don't have to wait. The Bound Brook ShopRite is neat and clean. This place also has a Pharmacy and Floral section. This is a very busy store and the parking lot can get packed. There is handicapped parking not far from the entrance and electric seated shopping carts. There is also a revolving door entrance that is hands free. More pictures to come
