My most favorite place in the whole wide world! It's a dangerous place for my debit card but it has everything. I love love love all the seasonal stuff and I love their meat! Favorite store! The employees are friendly and I love how quickly check out goes no matter how many items you have. I wish there were bags or something it's always extra effort to get all my items in the car and the house. Best diapers & wipes! read more

Trash place. Literally every time we get ANY kind of food here there's mold on it within 3 days. Upper management is super rude and find the best way to assist a customer is with sarcasm. I was here with my mother and they scanned her card saying it was not working. Come to find out they're penalizing her for a membership she didn't use when she first tried to sign up back in 2011. The store literally would not let her leave unless she paid $50 for a membership she has never used FROM 2011. The two managers, one a male with glasses literally would not drop his sarcastic attitude and the blonde woman didn't care about the situation at all, and instead was playing with her son who was about 8 years old. Didn't know Costco was also a daycare for their employees. Long story short this location put an extremely bad taste in my mouth for all Costco's, and I'm not stepping foot in one ever again. read more

This is one of the better costco locations b/c of the volume of people there.. It is a lot of people but for the most part they are as efficient as they can be. As for the produce, I always have a problem with it. Also the cheeses etc.. Everything goes bad so quickly or its close to its exp date. Overall I like this costco location. read more

For the money and consistent level of quality, it's hard to beat the value of their offerings.

Costco is Costco. For those who don't know what that is, it's a place where items you see in the grocery store are sold in larger, or bulk, quantities. Also, the buyers arrange to sell items from companies (usually just one piece in the line, so you don't have any ability to select) at a good discount. It's similar to BJs. A couple reasons why this location gets a lower rating from me: 1) No beer/wine/alcohol. Part of what I love about Costco is their well-curated wine selection at awesome prices. Not at this location, so BOO. 2) Unbelievably busy at peak hours. I get that they are PEAK hours, so duh, it will be busier than normal, but I'm talking 30 to 45 minutes to check out. That's just insane. 3) The parking lot is stupid. I just can't figure out what's going on. My tactic is to park as far away as possible and walk. 4) Finally, I have found the people who work in restaurant (where Costco sells their silly-cheap fro-yo, pizza, and hot dogs) to be surly and mean. There's just no need for that. read more

The staff here is very nice. Greeters and receipt checkers are always smiling. I'm upset that they do change items or do not restock certain items like avocado oil spray. I wish this location sold alcohol like the one in Edison. I would recommend going right when it opens or during day when no one is there. Avoid Saturday's and Sunday's as the parking lot is crazy! read more

Costco is the best! The workers are friendly the prices at the snack station are incredible! There are samples spiradically around the store. They even have a car shop for different tire needs. If you need new tires go here!! They have a great warantee policy (covers pothole damage) and it's done in a few hours. Overall if you can't find something at costco, you don't need it! Oh and you get 2% back if you use the costco american express. read more

I generally give Costco 5 stars for their merchandise, value and friendly staff. The last time I was at this Costco I experienced something that was shocking to me. On the way out I ordered a pizza to take home and while I was waiting the 20 minutes for it there was an Asian woman and her husband and child also waiting. They had been waiting for over 30min and when she asked the woman behind the counter on the status of her order she was rudely told that it will be ready when it's ready and to go wait somewhere else?! When I asked about my order I was kindly told it would only be a few more minutes with a smile. When several more people who ordered after her had already received their orders and left the Asian woman asked again and was again even more rudely told to stop bothering the attendant behind the counter?! I then got my order and told her she should complain, clearly something was wrong. She then told the attendant that she could see her order siting there behind the glass because of the ticket number and it had been there all along! Instead of an apology the attendant just threw her pizza down on the counter and walked away! It all of a sudden hit me that the Costco attendant was treating her badly because she was Asian and because of Covid-19!! I've heard about things like that but never experienced them. I think the Costco management there should not tolerate that type of behavior in their employees and I wish the Asian woman had complained. read more

Yay contacts!

Although this is the closest Costco to my home, I actually drive twice the distance to Princeton to avoid shopping here. Disorganized floor, discourteous staff, rudest food court associates, no gas station, and the longest check out lines of any Costco I've shopped at. To add insult to injury, the line to have your receipt checked makes getting out a slow tedious process. The associates here have two speeds, slow and stop. They seem to spend more time talking to one another than they do moving lines along at a brisk pace. The fact that I'd rather do a 37 mile round trip to another county says a lot. read more

This is a costco like any other costco. Not much to say besides, it's pretty clean ad organized here. It can get crowded at times, especially on weekends. One thing for sure, I go there hungry, come out feeling full. Yay for free samples!! read more

After shopping at other Costco stores in the area you quickly realize how limited it really is. On more than one occasion, I see people opening the plastic claim shell containers for fruit and cherry picking them. The whole idea of those containers is to keep the fruit fresh and safe but certain people don't get that. Needless to say, I do not buy my fruit there anymore. read more

Everybody who is reading this should know what costco is and that they are cheap and awesome etc. The thing I give it 5 stars is for their snack bar! Where else can you receive good large pizza for 9.99, a hot dog and soda combo for 1.50, ice cream $1, and churros? I love it here, and go here often. read more

With the recent virus, Costco is doing a great job at following CDC guideline. They managed the line going into the store from the the parking lot. Employees are outside directing customers get in line and keeps their distance. Same with checkout line. Employees are directing customers to the cashier. An employee was wiping the shopping cart handle as you go in, another employee was cleaning the extra shopping carts. They also have wipes in the store for you to use. I felt comfortable shopping there. read more

Costco is the best place to buy food in bulk. During the afternoons, they always put out samples that you can taste. Most of the time they are delicious and I end up buying the product. The food court here is the best! They have churos, pizza, hot dog, and smoothies. The prices at the food court are inexpensive. Unfortunately, they don't sell any alcohol at this location and you need to head over to the Edison location. The only downside is that you need to be a member to get in with an annual fee but if you eat a lot of food, it is totally worth it. read more

Every time I come the food court at 7'pm it is understaffed with long lines- but- I look at cashiers standing around with no customers- where is the manager? Why don't they make better use if their man power and cross train? read more

Costco Tire Center seems to have hired a bunch of incompetent employees at this location. I called in an emergency situation when my tire blew out on the highway and I contacted them to confirm the size before getting towed there and they told me they had 19 in stock. Of course when I show up, they have none. Better yet, Costco doesn't even carry that size at ANY location. All of this is after I told them that their "system" is listing the incorrect size because I can read the tire on the sidewall is not matching what they're recommending! Not to worry, right?--They said they could get me an order in 3-5 days; what a joke! Am I supposed to sleep in the parking lot? I had to limp away at 1mph getting honked at with my hazard lights on all the way to Pep Boys, where some humans with actual brains were able to solve my issue in a couple hours. read more

I remembered getting your tires here! The stuff is great and the manger rob is super helpful! I'm very happy with this outstanding customer service and work! read more

Am not happy with Costco. Very crowded and some of people with attitude. Ask question and they have attitude.

Disappointed experience this time ! The supervisor is very rude to the lady. I saw he's yelling at her . I don't know what's going on . It's so horrible! read more

Nice big Costco with nice service! Nothing special at this store. If you have been to a Costco before, this will be the same!

Costco has a covid-19 policy we're they are to open at 9:00 a.m. one hour earlier than normal time for seniors 60 or older plus those with disabilities or are immunocompromised. Bridgewater Costco tends to open closer to 9:15 a.m.. Looks like the manager has grandparent issues perhaps. read more

Earned zero stars today with very poor customer service delivered by store managerJeff Guarino and cashier Jenn A. When my adult daughter went shopping today with my wife's card, she was told our card would be flagged, and she would be allowed to use it once, only if she paid cash. Jeff, look around you, fifty percent of your customers are using their relatives' cards. Graciousness is not a Costco attribute. Costco, you've been flagged! As terrible a customer experience as written in other reviews. Drive on... read more

As a weekly shopper at Costco, I can honestly say that the one in Bridgewater NJ is FAR better than the one in Green Brook and the one in Edison. Customer service is WAY better, and the bakery stuff can't be beat! read more

Love this Costco, my only complaint is that they don't have a liquor section like the one in Edison. (Would've given it a 4 stars for that reason but since this is my hometown Costco I'm a bit biased here.) However, I refuse to go to Edison because that one gets real crazy. Love browsing each aisles here since they always have new seasonal products. You never know what you'll find. Some favorites are their bring-home-and-bake pizzas, rotisserie chicken, rib-eye steaks and dirt cheap bottled waters. It does get crowded here on the weekend but that's all Costco. Only accepts american express, cash and debit. read more

I want to complain about an old lady worker in the Bridgewater NJ Costco food court. She is VERY RUDE. She yelled at my little daughter when asked are you out of Fries. She was so rude and her actions were so uncalled for. She is rude to every customer who buys from there. How is even COSTCO hiring such people that to as front cashier at the food court. Ridiculous customer service. This lady should be fired from her job if she doesn't want to work with respect to the customers. I will Not recommend this Bridgwater Nj costco food court till this lady is fired. Hope they do something soon and take the action! read more

Most disorganized Costco I have ever been in. Ordered pizza over the phone like I have done at a million other Costco food courts. Never took my name and didn't have time to tell him since he hung up as soon as he said how long it would be. Turns out no one had names in orders when I got there and that made it chaotic on whose order was whose. Also, the employees were not nice and the one gentleman kept rubbing his nose and then touching the sundae cups with the same hand. Told my daughter we would stop somewhere else for ice cream after I saw that. I have been to many locations in several states and this one by far was the worst. read more

A great Costco - compared to the busier and less maintained Costco's of New York. Very good seasonal selection and always a great find.

Sorry, I don't get Costco. Most items can be purchased elsewhere for lower prices (even their own staff admits this - so give them credit for honesty.) There is no selection obviously and living in the greatest country in the world, I have become used to having a nice selection of products - not one or two brands chosen by a 20-something Costco buyer. I would not go near their house brands - that is no doubt the cheapest of the cheap. The food? In this day and age of wanting to know where your food comes from and that is is being grown or raised in a healthy sustainable fashion....well, believe me you are getting your food from the lowest bidder. And what is the deal with the membership fee? That is the biggest scam in the world. They say it is a 'wholesale' club. It ain't wholesale if you are selling to consumers. They say that is where their profits come from - sure it does, plus their profits on that markup they place on EVERYTHING they sell in the store - AT RETAIL PRICES. Support your local shop-rite, liquor store, tire center, small business. Don't support Costco or that is all you will have to choose from one day. (Local businesses don't charge you a fee to shop in their stores.) read more

Ridiculously busy no matter what time we go it seems which makes me dread coming here every week but you can't beat the deals. 3, 1+lbs of organic beef is $20...a ginormous rotisserie chicken is $5...3, 1/2 gallon organic milks is less than $10...6 tri-color bell peppers less than $6...etc, etc. They have a great selection of items and the staff has always been friendly during our interactions. The food court is cash only and only go there if you want to work on clogging your arteries. As a side, the parking lot is atrocious...just park far away and trek it. read more

I love this costco but it's way too crowded on the weekends. I've never had a bad experience with the costco staff. It's always the customers who leave their carts in the middle of the isle to get as many free samples of food as possible. Fot this reason, I try to get all my shopping done during the week. read more

Hot dog and sofa for $1.50 before tax. One of the best deals in towm

I had a horrible experience with the tire shop at COSTCO of Bridgewater, NJ. My vehicle's tire pressure light was on (It doesn't say which tire) so I went there and explained them my circumstances: I work in city and travel at night and I requested them to kindly please check all tires etc. But the man at the counter didn't pay attention or ignored my situation. As per them they (Costco) checked only one tire which they suspected was bad and obviously found nothing wrong with it. One week after this visit, when the weather was bad and there was heavy rain and it was cold, my vehicle's tire light on again and I was in the city at this point which is about 40-45 miles away from home. One of my co workers had to help me put air and then drove me to COSTCO at Edison, NJ. Over here I experienced excellent kind of service and Costco tire shop associate Ed heard my point and promised that they will check all four tires. They did check all 4 tires and found very small slow leak in one of rear tires. The original Costco had fixed a so called front tire which was a good tire in their words. I want say thank you to Costco of Edison, NJ tire shop. Thank you for taking care of my situation so kindly and efficiently. read more

Last time I checked, you needed a membership to get in this place. Apparently the two knuckleheads ahead of me from Dubai (yes, they said it out loud) spent 45+ min trying to buy a cell phone. Their info doesn't come up. WHY? No goddamn membership!! How the hell do these people stroll on in in the first place?!? Retrain the door checker!! read more

I always enjoy checking out their seasonal items. The foods are always fresh. Can't beat the $4.99 rotisserie chicken. Love shopping here. This place is always packed on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I do go to other Costco's because of family being in different areas and working in different areas. Nothing beats the service at the Bridgewater Costco! It is always clean and organized. I do see many comments about how busy the Costco is, but I have never experienced it being more busy than any of the other Costco's in the area. The fruit the meets everything is always fresh. We have never had a bad experience. We have even gotten a few birthday cakes from Costco decorated perfectly and tasting very good. I have had some issues with managers at the North Plainfield location and was not too happy with the cashiers at the Princeton location. Bridgewater has always been my go-to place! read more

Costco as a whole have a reputation for great service, but I just wanted to point out what makes them great and differentiates them from the rest. I was there this morning as always and needed help finding peeled garlic and asked Fred in the produce department, he said yes they have it and proceeded to show me where it is, and show me he did, he walked with me across the warehouse to the exact spot where the peeled garlic was. He didn't point me in the general direction, he didn't give me directions, he walked with me. We made small talk and being a business owner and a retail manager myself, I cannot express how appreciative I am of such service, it's hard to come by. Excellent Job "Fred" in the produce department. Employees like you are a rare breed nowadays. read more

We've been members here for years. As much as they sell things in bulk, we are here several times a week. They make it easy to shop - very limited or no choices between sizes or brands - works for us. We'd debate unit pricing between the small and large container or this brand or that. There was a CNBC piece about Costco where they said that often, when given too many choices, people get stymied by all the choices and don't buy anything. So for Costco and us, them limiting what they offer fits our needs. And it's a great place to grab a bite to eat. The hot dog and soda price of 1.50 has been the same for YEARS. A great value! read more

This review is for Bridgewater NJ Costco Tire Center. I was sent back. It was yesterday Monday - a weekday. I had chosen weekday because it would be less rush. During the day, I had called Tire Center for Tire Rotation. I was told, the Tire Center is open till 8:30 and I can come around 5pm for the job get done. I arrived precisely at 5:10pm at the Tire Center front-desk. I do not know the name of the person at the front-desk. He was so unreasonable. And just did not take my car for consideration. He was so adamant. Even responded me like..."It is 5:13. I have to leave. I cannot get your car out of Garage. etc. etc." I was so disappointed. May not visit this Costco in future. May not renew membership either. read more
