They're well-stocked, have a lot of name brands and a lot of sizes in each item as well as a plus size section. The store has shoes, dresses, casualwear, sunglasses, cosmetics, some household items and clothing for men, women, and children. Everything is designer and the prices are very good. Order number: 436472593 I called costumer service to confirm I can return a nuna stroller and car seat to Nordstrom Rack and they said I can absolutely do that. I go to return it at Bound Brook Nordstrom Rack and the sales associate was very rude to me. The manager came out to confirm I cannot return the stroller and car seat at a Nordstrom rack even though I had already confirmed I could. I am 8 months pregnant and was baffled at how the sales associate behaved towards me. I even went back to my car and used the chat messages to confirm AGAIN and sure enough, I was righBoth the manager and sales associate need to brush up on their return policies. Large footprint but small on inventory. Never have an enjoyable experience searching through the racks of clothing; I just don't like the way Nordstrom Rack organizes their clothing. It always seams so random to me, becomes a chore, and I give up. While people feel the clothing is a step up from TJ's or a Marshall's, I actual prefer the latter. Love handbags but didn't see anything unique or even classic that I had to have. Same with the sunglasses and accessories. They had a few pieces of cashmere, sweaters and shawls ranging from $59-$129, but the styles didn't work for me. On a positive, there is plenty of parking. read more

The store is well organized with a large selection of items. Actually finding something can be a hit or miss. I found a dress during my last visit for a great deal! The cashier didn't ring me up for the correct price or include an additional 25% off that I was entitled to which I found out when I did a price adjustment. Aside from that I had a good experience. I wouldn't recommend coming here. Worst when it comes to customer service. Very rude cashier/associate named Alexis (that was the name on my receipt) lady with glasses and shoulder length curly hair . I came in to do a return, but before I went to their returns counter I went to shop around first. I had a two items that I wanna buy and so I went to their returns. I handed her my returns (3 clothes) and my receipt, she said one of the items is not part of the receipt and I was like okay. She put it on the side and process the return for the other two. She asked me if I wanna use the balance for the items I'm buying and I said yes. She tried to process the item with out the receipt for a return using my number but she said nothing came up. From just there she just totally declined it rudely and said I need a receipt for this one. So i googled the returns policy of nordstrom rack and it said using the receipt, phone number or the credit card. She never offered me to check using the credit card and I told her why would she do that and just said no without asking me first. When she looked using my credit card. She process the return And the very worst thing happened, she said "It's not my job to look your transaction using your credit card". That one really made me upset so much that I was shaking. I told her I want to talk to her manager and she called her manager. Manager wasn't that helpful as well, just said that will talk to her(cashier). And said that it's not very nice, said sorry and if I needed anything else and that's it. Like she sound like a robot. Like reading from a script. Worst customer service. Would never come back here to shop ever. Called corporate and will also email whoever I need to email. This is beyond acceptable. Poor management/customer service. Three times I went here always have a long line. And sometimes cashiers talk behind the register while they see a line building up. If I can give a zero I would!!! read more

What's not to like about Nordstrom Rack located in Chimney Rock Plaza? It's a great place to find quality clothes , shoes and accessories at discount prices. There is plenty of free parking. This place is definitely a step up from TJ Maxx . They have more upscale brands like Tory Burch, Tahari, Channel, Theory, Bobbi Brown etc. They also, have seasonal merchandise, pillows, decorations , accessories, and home goods. I needed a new winter coat and found a beautiful winter style black Michael Kors jacket for a great price well below any store or online merchant was offering. Most of their stock comes directly from their Nordstrom stores. Everything is well displayed, and certain designers have there own section, or rack. Nordstrom Rack sells great shoes and boots for men and women. They have a lot of clearance racks with left over seasonal clothing that you can pickup and save for a trip or next season. This is a place that sells out quickly so if you see something you want it's best to buy it because the following week it will be gone. The lines can get really long at this store to check out so I suggest planning on spending some time when shopping. I really enjoy shopping here when I need something specific. It really is a great place to find designer stuff at rock bottom prices. read more

I love Nordstrom Rack...love love love shopping here. Out of all of the clearance stores, Nordstrom Rack is where I find the most steals and deals. It's really thanks to them that I have come many steps closer to fulfilling my dream of having a wardrobe full of "Theory" and "Rag & Bone" otherwise I definitely can't afford them. I walked in today because I knew it was the grand opening. They were well staffed and everything was so nicely laid out. I love that even their clearance section is spotless! The clothes are still neatly hung and the bags were pristine and didn't seem tossed around. They were giving out bottles of water when you entered and when you left they were giving out $5 coupons! What a nice touch. I got to peruse their shoe section and I definitely have to come back when I have more time. What I did end up getting was an clearance All Saints bag that is usually $300! It was on clearance for $89 dollars, which I though was an amazing price. When I went to go ring it up, it came out to $44. The cashier brought their manager and she said " At Nordstrom Rack, we always give the customer the lower price, it's part of the treasure hunt fun!" I loved that and it made my day! I will definitely be back to find more treasures :) read more

Waited 30 minutes in line to be told that I can't return $400 worth of merchandise for store credit because I missed the deadline by 3 days. When I asked to speak to a manager the staff member said "the manager is going to say the same thing" and denied my request. I reviewed the return policy, called the corporate line, and was encouraged to contact the store again and ask for the service manager. I spoke with the service manager, Autumn, who said they couldn't accept my return (even though these same items are on the shelf in the store) because they have to be "fair and consistent." Nordstrom customer service is not what it used to be. This company used to be a cut above the rest and now there is no customer service. I have been shopping with Nordstrom and Nordstrom rack for years, and after this experience I'm done. 3 days' grace period over the holidays for merchandise that is still in store is not a crazy request. I spent hours of my time trying to get help only to be passed around by a bunch of indifferent staff. What a waste of time and money. I'm done with Nordstrom Rack. read more

I recently had purchased 2 jackets from this location. One was a Spyder Jacket for $60 and a Michael Kors Faux jacket for $100. I had found the Spyder jacket on THEIR app for $50 (same style) and when asked if they could do a price adjustment the STORE MANAGER said "Sorry we cant do that because it is a different color" in the most snarky attitude i have ever heard from anyone. Nordstrom Rack Chimney Rock is my favorite place to shop. The place is nice. The selections of signature clothings, shoes, bags, etc are great. I come to shop here almost every week, if not more. The staffs are very polite and professional except for one cashier whose name is Joycelyn B. She yelled at me when I asked her do please check the price tag on the dress because the price she wants me to pay is not the same as the price on the tag. Maybe she had a long day because me and my sister were the last customers. Instead of politely saying, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, she continued to defend herself. Her attitude is big. I really liked this store. I wasn't sure what to think after some meh experiences at other Rack stores, but Nordstrom really seems to have upped their game with this location. Being brand, spanking-new, racks and shelves were fully stocked and organized, and salespeople were available and eager to be of service. I visited here right after the Off 5th next door, and it was a world of difference. Lots of brand names I wasn't necessarily expecting too, including Joie, Longchamp, D&G, and Theory, and pricing didn't make me gasp (it's certainly not cheap, but not astronomical either). I ended up finding a Sonix phone case I didn't know I needed that was $20 less than Nordstrom.com. My only complaint was that there seemed to be some kinks that still needed ironing out in terms of check-out; customers seemed to linger at the registers as the line quickly backed up and tested everyone's patience.
