Staff was shockingly rude. If I wasn't in such a time pinch I would have left immediately. It was impossible to maintain the attention of the sales person to simply pull down the items in my size that were well out of my reach. She instead was throwing around inventory items, sulking, stomping, and complaining. I was the only customer in the store. I will never return and in hindsight should have gone to Bloomingdales as they have similar brands and consistently provide an exceptional customer experience. read more

I stopped in to look for a hat and although I needed new swimsuits, I didn't think I could bare to look in the dead of winter. Brooklyn was so warm and welcoming, so I decided to ask for help with swimsuit selections. I told her my concerns and what I was looking for, and she picked out a handful of suits that worked amazing for me! Jessica is FABULOUS!!!! I needed suits for my holiday vacation and she was such an great help. I was looking for skirted bottoms which she helped me find. She also recommended a leppard print bikini and pareo which I was hesitant to even try on but I decided to take her advice... and why not as I was already in the dressing room! I went to Everything But Water in the Short Hills Mall and I had a great experience. I hate going bathing suit shopping, but had an upcoming trip and needed to refresh my collection. Jessica (the manager) was so helpful. She suggested styles, and brought a variety of suits in the dressing room for me to try. She helped me pick the best looking ones for my shape and the look I was going for. It was easy, painless and pretty quick. I left with four! Will definitely go back. read more

I love this place.... it has really beautiful bathing suits, coverups and accessories like hats, bags and jewelry. It's pretty much color coordinated for the most part. The staff has usually been helpful especially with helping find what I need - Wry infrequently I will find staff that is blah and not helpful. The prices are expensive but you pay for the quality. read more

While in the store I tried on easily 20 bathing suits, and was helped by a lovely saleswoman named Jessica. She was extremely patient, I knew the stock and the fit very well, and was able to help me find a suit that fit all of my requirements. In addition, I was very impressed with how closely the store followed the health protocols including continuous use of masks the entire time I was there. Also helping me was a store manager Michelle. She did a great job explaining the differences in the suits to me and helping me make my choice. I will definitely return! read more

I was shopping in the Short Hills location this past Sunday around 4pm. I was in need of some new suits and needed to try on a lot of styles. The store was Extremely busy!!! Jessica was the only employee in the store. She was running around literally all over the place-helping customers- getting sizes-back and forth from dressing room-and on the register. She was smiling and super helpful to everyone. Apologizing that she couldn't do enough because she was the only one there. You really could not have hired a better employee! It was insanely busy. She never cracked. Never missed a beat. All while having an unbelievable attitude. I just wanted you to know what a great employee she is. You are lucky to have her. I have been shopping for swimwear here a few times in the last 3 months (Aug - Oct2021) and there were 2 women working the first time I visited. One women - Jessica (petite young lady with long straight black hair) - was so sweet and EXTREMELY helpful! She was nice, gave helpful advise about sizing, style, shape, and is REALLY knowledgeable about the inventory. The other woman was pretty quiet - which was fine. I visited a few weeks later with my husband and the quieter woman was there (I learned from a friend who frequents the store that she is the Manager - curvy woman with black hair). She wasn't nice AT ALL! She provided TERRIBLE customer service. She is unfriendly and never moved from the behind the counter until I requested something I couldn't reach; she seemed annoyed to get it and to answer my questions. My husband normally doesn't say much, but when we left he said "she's got a winning personality, huh?" I visited again just last week and Jessica was there again. I admit that I was REALLY relieved because I wasn't going in if the Manager was there. Jessica was consistent in her charm, was helpful, knew the inventory, and had a cheery personality. After being cooped up in the house for some time, she made my in-person shopping experience worthwhile! I have decided that I will only purchase items when she is in the store. Question: shouldn't the MANAGER exemplify how customers should be treated and not the other way around? read more

Terrible customer service I bought my wife a very expensive bathing suit and outer covering. Asked when I bought can she use the gift receipt to get refund she said yes. Than my wife who has a new born comes in and they tell her sorry only store credit. For an expensive shop service is terrible I would NEVER shop in an establishment like this again! read more

This place is expensive, but for good reason. It's difficult for women to find suits (and underwear) that truly fit their bodies. Bust size cannot neatly be categorized into cup size A, B, C etc. The women who work at the store really help you find a good fit and stay by your side while you try stuff on (outside the door of course!) and pass you suits that they think you'll like while you're in the dressing room. They get to know your name, and it's a truly personal experience. I appreciate how comfortable they made me feel, and I found a great bikini top with support for my large size that I haven't been able to find anywhere else for the past several years. FYI I don't think they have anything larger than cup size DD. read more

This store has a great selection of good quality bathing suites. The customer services is also great. The workers are a great help and helped me find what kind of bathing suite I was looking for as well as my sizing. I prefer the workers at this store over any other store in the short hills mall. This store should be renamed Everything But Nice! Customer service gets a zero in my book! I purchased a bathing suit cover up, and after taking off the tag, I noticed a thread hanging on my leg and upon looking at the item more closely, I noticed the hem coming apart. I tried to take the item back to the store, and the store clerk told me they could not take an item without a tag on it back to the store. I was told to email customer service and wait for their response. They did respond requesting me to take a photo of my receipt and the damaged item. I had to make several phone calls and emails after that. They kept saying their quality control team needed to review the issue. Finally, I had to mail the item back to their corporate headquarters and a week later I kept calling to ask for the status of my refund. It was a long frustrating process which I will never put myself through again. I will definitely take my business to a store that has pride in customer service and respects their consumers time. Shame on you Everything But Water! read more

I am writing this review for the New York location. Unfortunately, I can't find that location on yelp. I visited the store for the first time today. I was so impressed with the merchandise and the staff. I will never go anywhere else for a bathing suit. Erica and Amanda really knew their stuff!! They were so helpful and knowledgeable and knew what would look good and what would not. The store has high-end suits but its really worth it. I am sorry I didnt know of this store sooner. I walked away with 2 bathing suits that I am thrilled with - how often does THAT happen?!?! Will be back and you should go!! read more

As a person of color I was mistreated. Sales people were snobbish and followed me around as if I was shop lifting. They offered to take my bags despite the fact that many other shoppers had large shopping bags with them. I would give a minus star if I could. read more
