This store is average in size when compared to their larger locations. They don't carry kayaks, but they do carry camping gear, including tents. You'll find a nice assortment of travel cups/mugs that keep your drinks nice and warm. They have backpacks to suit the needs of avid campers. Their clothing selection changes with the seasons. Most of their clothes were geared to the Spring season. They did have some nice jackets and vests that were on sale. I bought a beautiful brown coat that is perfect for mild Spring weather. I also bought some stickers and magnets that I haven't been able to find on their website. LL Bean honors teachers by providing us with a 10% discount on your purchase. You can fill out the form online or present a current teacher ID. If you are a retired teacher, you can still get the discount if your teaching license is still active. The people at LL Bean are passionate about the company. They are often avid outdoorsmen and women. They know their products well and can offer good advice if you have questions regarding an item. LL Bean can be a little pricey, but just keep an eye out for sales. They are best known for their bean boots, which are a high quality duck boot that keeps your feet dry. I was able to select a couple of pairs of custom shoe strings for my duck boots. LLL Bean will always be one of my favorite stores. I always get compliments for the sweaters that I buy from their stores. They are rather unique and are a real eye catcher when worn out in public. You really can't go wrong with LL Bean. My friend went to the fitting room to try some items on, so I eventually went to go view the fashion show. As I walked into the fitting room area, two employees were busy fiddling with some clothes-- I didn't know it takes two employees to hang a shirt up. As I was about to round the corner, one of them yelled at me, "Ma'am?!" So I turned back towards the counter and the employee scanned me up and down before asking if I was trying something on. I said I was not and then I was asked if I was looking for someone in the fitting room. When I said I was, the employee simply stared at me. After finally making my way to the fitting room area, the room was at least 80 degrees, perfect for trying on clothes...NOT. My friend and I promptly left the store and have no intention of ever stopping in again.
