Hi, Costco is really selling good product in the store in NJ. I just have one complaint with Costco is that they are selling very good furniture in the store, which is really very heavy to carry at home. Costco doesn't provide the home delivery service at all for the furniture which we buy inside the store. It would be great if Costco could think of this frustration and start home delivery service at the nominal charges. By this way customer could buy the furniture, which is of great quality from inside the store. read more

I just don't get it. I went there with a friend who had a membership card. This is not wholesale. It is bulk pricing. The beauty of the where we live is the unlimited options we have - go to the supermarket and choose from 30 kinds of anything, bbq sauce to toothpaste. Why let the Costco buyer pick what you get to buy? Prices are not that great either - their own staff admits to that fact. The membership fee is a SCAM. They claim not to mark up their products and they only make money on this fee - a joke! No way anyone should have to pay to shop at this store. read more

I love Costco! My favorite place in the world to go grocery shopping in. I detest how long the lines get on the weekends though :(

The employee named BRIDGES should be FIRED! I made an appointment on 6/22 for 5 PM for a tire rotation (even left work early for it) and I showed up 5 minutes to 5 PM and the employee named Bridges told me that he checked their system, even checked my confirmation number and that I was not in the system and that since it was 5 pm, he could not take my car in for a tire rotation. FYI, the tire center close at 8 PM. He told me to call back on Tuesday morning and ask for him and that he would take care of the tire rotation himself that day at 5 PM. I called (after 8 tries) and spoke to Bridges himself who told me to come in at 5 PM and that he would take care of the tire rotation himself. I show up at 4:59 PM (left work early again) and I find out Bridges left work at 4 PM. The employee working there, Ken, took my car in at 5 PM, but since I didn't have an appointment (thanks to Bridges, who when I asked if I could make an appointment told me I did not need one), it took 3 hours. Out of curiosity, I had Ken check my previous confirmation number to see if my original appointment that Bridges said I didn't have was in the system. Turns out it WAS in the system and Bridges had lied to my face. Needless to say Bridges is an unprofessional, incompetent employee who should be FIRED. My purpose for this post is to warn other patrons of his antics. Make sure you speak to anyone else there other than Bridges because nothing he says can be trusted and he is so incompetent, he doesn't even know how to use their computer system. I filed a complaint with management, but it seemed like a waste of time. They gave me a box of $6.99 cookies to compensate. It was a nice gesture, but that does not change the fact that BRIDGES should be FIRED! read more

Very disappointed in the sales person. I wanted to use my existing frames and I was informed that there is a 25.00 charge when you do that. This wasn't a problem, but then I was informed that he felt the frames were "bent" and he knew that they won't use them. I could not see what he was talking about, but I had no recourse. I took my glasses elsewhere and had no problem using the existing frames. I thought that the sales person shouldn't be making those decisions. Costco member for lots of years and only use the optical department and it was unfortunate I couldn't use it again. read more

Worst costumer service , if you want to be miserable than you shouldn't be in the field!

I personally think Costco is the cheapest place to get quality stuff. All their stuff is very cheap and has good quality. The only bad thing is that sometimes the people serving food there does not have the best attitude. But overall, I think this is a great place to buy everyday needs. read more

You can buy anything here, and I mean anything. This store carries a wide range of items, from computers to organic spinach mixes. I usually don't buy produce or meats from here because their prices aren't necessarily lower than those of other supermarkets, and the quantities are much larger. However, the prepackaged items like coffee, rice and beef jerky are usually really good deals that give you prices that are much lower than that of other stores in exchange for buying in larger quantities. However, I believe that the real value of a costco membership is the discount on big purchase items. Computers, phones, electronics and jewelry are often discounted steeply in a Costco warehouse, and the savings on these high priced items are more than enough to warrant the $50 membership. A desktop PC that would normally go for 1k can be found for $850, and a Omega Seamaster 300M Diver Coaxial was being sold for 3k, which is a lot lower than the $4000 retail price. read more

Dino: Very poor customer service, the entire returns section needs to be trained and align with the overall Costco experience. These guys try to find every possible reason to make the return process difficult for the customer. It was one of the worse customer experience I ever had this past weekend. The Manager at the return section and staff whose name is Britt was unprofessional, yelling at me in front of other customers just because I returned bad eggs that did not taste right. After making me wait for almost 20 minutes to return one item, instead of apologizing the Manager at the return section said - although we appreciate your business I do not mind refunding you your membership and threaten me to cancel my membership. The entire returns section needs training and care about the customers. Typically the cashiers are subject to performance time evaluations when they take your money, however the customer service area is the one that needs major help to help customers and provide excellent customer service experience read more

My father-in-law brought a battery from Costco this morning and they sold him the incorrect battery. The battery was 99.99 and with tax it came to 106.82. The core was charged and refunded as the old battery was brought in at the initial purchase. We realized it was the incorrect battery after he came home. I went back to Costco to get the right battery. When I got to the auto section, they said I needed to go to the main store to return the battery. The main store credited back 106.82 which was ok and they said to go to the auto department to buy my new battery and core would not be charged again as I had already bought one in earlier. When I purchased the new battery, Mario at the Bridgewater, NJ store wanted to charge me for a core again, so in the end I would have paid the cost of the battery plus $15 after already bringing in the old battery from my car. This made no sense and I explained to Mario when he was incorrect. We argue back and forth for about a minute or so and then Mario said to me, "I won't charge you for the core, but don't insult me if you need a handout." I have not ever asked for a handout in life in any situation, I just didn't want to be charged for something I shouldn't be charged for. This comment was insulting, unprofessional, and disgraceful. After paying for the battery, I proceeded to the main store and spoke to the assistant general manager to file a complaint against Mario. I showed him all the receipts and explained what happened and the assistant general manager agreed that Mario was double charging the core. He apologized for Mario comments and agreed that it should not be said by him. Not sure if anything will happen by the assistant general manager, but Mario's behavior should be properly disciplined. As a customer of Costco I was greatly offended. Please be aware of the actions happening at this Costco and act accordingly. read more

The Customer Service desk "staff" are very rude and unprofessional. I'll keep this one at one star because of the distasteful experience! Try and ask someone for help in the isle and they sigh as if you're inconveniencing them..... "Excuse me!, i'd prefer NOT to ask anyone for help!" But when you guys keep moving the items around, it's kinda difficult to come in and have the same item in the same place from last!!!! I had to tell one guy in his face "forget about it! I'll find it myself!!!" For $100 buck a year you'd expect better positive attitudes! On a positive note; I've had the pleasure to deal with some very nice ladies at the checkout line, it's usually a hit or miss, the guys at checkout all have an attitude issue that needs fine tuning, you'd think the women at the cash register would be the ones to be PMS'ing but seems the men are the one who have that issue. The store is always fully stocked! They do need to fix the shitty service all their customer service staff exhibits, for the company's first point of contact, "Customer Service" is the main core of any business's success, when it comes to customer retention. read more

I was there this past Saturday, 1/25/2020. I had a 3pm appointment with the lube side (tire shop). All they had to do was mount 4 tires I already purchased back in December on my rims and balance them. I spoke to a guy with a very long beard and I asked him nicely if they could just put the two best old tires in my trunk as I was going to use them as spares. "Sure no problem" was his answer and let me know it'll take 90 mins and he took my number down. After 2 hours and still no phone call I decided to just show up. When I got there again I spoke to a tall thin young man where he told me I could walk around the outside to the garages and someone will back my car out. That's what I did and when the young "mechanic: got in my car to back it out I noticed he was taking a little long, he gets out of my driver seat and tells me hold on. He goes to get the tall thin young man and he brings over a little jump pack...they killed my battery. My battery is a month old! no reason for it to have died like that unless they left it on and were listening to music in the shop. When he finally started backing my car out I asked if they put the two tires in the trunk and he said "I dont know let me check"...no tires in my car. They have a huge pile that they dump customer tires daily...2 "mechanics" were in the pile like it was a ball pit looking for all 4 of my matching tires...a little embarrassing. I noticed my tire pressure caps were not the ones I had (mine were metal neochrome which weren't disposable). I asked them where my old tire pressure caps were, the guy looked at me confused and started looking around the shop. The other mechanic said to look in the garbage because he just swept up the floor. I went to complain about my whole experience and all I got was a sorry. The following day my tire pressure light comes on which is weird since i just got these tires...(my tires take 32psi) my right passenger had 41psi and all my other tires were in the 20psi index. So I filled them and removed air from the overfilled tire. Next day my tire pressure light is on AGAIN! Now I will have to go back to Costco and they will have to compensate...this is not a good look. I will never bring my vehicle there again nor recommend anyone to bring their vehicle there. read more

I love Costco: they provide great products at great prices. I've visited various Costco's but the Bridgewater Coscto has horrible customer service (I should know, I provide customer service for a living). Every time I get to the cashier they hold out their hand so I guess they want my Costco card. They never say 'hi' or 'bye' and constantly leave stuff that I've paid for on the conveyor belt (so if I don't put it in the cart with all the other stuff that has already been put in my cart by the cashier's assistant than I'm screwed). I've been coming here for years: the customer service has always been horrible. read more

Great store, always go there on weekends, get there early. Only complaint is why they sweep the floors with that gigantic sweeper while customers are shopping. What a pain in the rear dodging that machine. read more

I ordered tires online and haven't been able to get confirmation that they've arrived at the store to get them installed. No one answers the phone. Their administrative office there says they have the same problem yet they do nothing about it. Cheap stuff isn't worth it if the service is poor. read more

Costco has many quality items sold in bulk and I particularly buy the fruits in the frozen section regularly --- one of my favorite is the organic blueberries in a huge package which I can store in the freezer. Besides personal effects, buying in bulk is great for parties, picnics and special events. read more
